Yes, it did happen in the past. It was an Egyptian airliner. Do you really think that we'll ever know the truth? They'll probably patrol the South China Sea for years, come up with no positive conclusion as to what caused the crash, pay the victims' families several $million and everyone will go away. Then it will be business as usual.
I think that Boeing's price rose because of the givebacks in the machinists' contract, not in Boeing's performance. Shareholders were rewarded with a higher stock price and a dividend boost to 73 cents. Now the chickens have come home to roost. Now we'll suffer the consequences of outsourcing manufacturing to cheap labor overseas. The 787 might have been a great plane if it hadn't been built in several different countries overseas. It should have been builtt in one country, America.
I think Jim McNerney should take his bonus , cash in on his options and bail out in his golden parachute. It's time for Boeing to start a clean sheet. Say a prayer for those families affected by the crash of the 777!
Remember the stabbings at the railroad station in China last week? Chinese police connected the stabbings to a terrorist group. The railroad attack occurred in Southwest China. Wasn't the Malaysian jet en route towards Southwest China? Pakistan borders China. Most of the passengers were. Chinese, I believe. Is China destabilizing? Are these incidents the beginning signs? Just my conjectures!
There are no facts proving that this mystery is on Boeing. People have to fly and will continue to fly. In this day and age we are not living under a rock.
In this age of satellite TV, smart phones, hundreds of ships at sea, hundreds of planes in the air, military and naval surveillance, population explosion in villages, towns and cities all over the world, and nobody heard or saw anything regarding the missing Boeing 777! I smell a big rat!
Planes just don't disappear into thin air. I smell a coverup. Here we go again: TWA -800, Lockerbee, 911....connect the dots. Too bad 239 souls are missing. Very sad.
Kimberley-Clark and Proctor & Gamble are great stocks to own. Thanks for the reminder. Yes, it's a pity about those unfortunate cruise passengers. BTW, Bloomberg news just released a report about the unsanitary conditions on farms that threaten public food safety. I'd pay attention to that warning from Bloomberg news.
I don't own the stock, but I'm a user. I think Facebook is an amazing social network. The news feed keeps me up to date on topics of interest. My friends post everyday, and we exchange opinions and ideas. I like to read and post comments. My photos are saved on Facebook, and soon all the videos that I downloaded will be organized into my video library courtesy of Facebook. Best of all, Facebook is user friendly. I've never had a security or privacy issue on Facebook. When I need help with navigation, I contact Facebook, and their support is excellent.
$100,000 won't cover a catastrophic illness. It won't even pay for one week in the hospital. You are right in your comments because I think that the lawyers, the cheats and frauds, big pharma, Wall Street crooks have all been responsible for the high costs of health care.
Yes, they should postpone the contract and have a re-vote because voting was rushed and 600 members didn't vote. The voting result was 51% in favor of a contract that cut pensions and benefits. When you cut your pension, you cut your own throat.
Maybe it's time to elect a Libertarian to the White House. Rand Paul fits the current libertarian trends like marriage equality and legal marijuana. America is ready for a Libertarian. Libertarians believe in the right to bear arms. In Ecuador, a honeymoon couple were shot and robbed leaving a taxi. The husband died. The wife is in serious condition. The police think the taxi driver was part of a gang. The husband's body was sent back to Japan
In Venezuela, a 27-year - old former beauty queen an actress was leaving a taxi with her husband. Both were shot to death and robbed. The police say the taxi driver may be part of the gang.
Last December a young couple were robbed and the husband was shot dead. The gang stole their luxury car but were eventually caught by police. The attack occurred in an upscale New Jersey shopping mall garage.
Are affluent young couples being targeted around the world? Better hold on to your guns folks because it's getting wild out there and you may need those guns!
May even reach $200 sometime this year. The 73 cents per share will keep investors satisfied. I look forward to more dividend boosts.
Good! Mentally deranged people shouldn't have access to guns. People who violate this rule should be punished to the full extent of the law. The parents of the "Sandy Hook Shooter" both encouraged shooting marksmanship because they believed it would develop their son's positive self-esteem. How wrong they both were!
