Rumors of marco's demise have been greatly exaggerated. Yinz may have run this POS stalk uppity a bit in my absence, but, now I'm back to ruin yer day.
Anybody know if the rumor is true that the Orbital Science rocket that just blew up may have been caused by a faulty Intel inside, huh? I think ATK & Orbital Sciences were using Intel chips that may have been compromised by vibrations.
marco the genius : - ) Can any of Yinz imagine the law suits if Intel turns out to be the BAD BOY here? Walley thinks INTC may lose 1/3 of its value just on the rumor. Remember that olde axiom, sell da rumor and buy da news.
The PC recovery is already FAILING, the server space looks very WEAK with double digit DECLINES,
IOT weakness looks exceptionally well with Intel in the rear, and the mobile space has NO of room
for improvement for Intel. Considering that Intel has ABSOLUTELY NO intention and confidence to get close to break even
in 2015, they have NO plans of actually profiting in 2016.
marco the genius : - ) Notice paul's name starts with "P." Guess what "P" stands for, huh? Anybody? Okay, it's PUMPMEISTER, PUMPMEISTER, PUMPMEISTER!
My thought is that The FED uses the weekends to manipulate stocks, and doesn't want anybody else trading against their positions. Then, on the week days, they unwind their positions hammering the poor, unsuspecting, greedy, retail, fools who are steam rolled by THE ALL POWERFUL FED. I heard rumors that the FED profits goes to help pay off the Aliens from taking over.
marco the genius : - ) I think that strategy is stupid. If everyone quits trading on week days, the FED wouldn't make any money, and without the money, the Aliens would simply go away.
Hi ITBMA, I really enjoy your predictions. You're da onlyest one who correctly predicted 60 outta the last 3 INTC crashes exactly on time.
marco the genius : - ) You should start your own news letter. or something. Keep up the good work.
So far, every American health care worker who contracted EBOLA had INTC in their IRA or 401K.
marco the genius : - ) WORRY!
It's the worstest thing that can happen.
marco the genius : - ) If Yinz own INTC, it doubles yer chance of getting ENOLA, maybe more.
The i7 processor loses the instruction sequence after 14 ply levels. BAD NEWS and if I can verify it, Intel MUST recall the chip!!!!!
marco the genius : - ) This is not the first time I discovered a boo boo in Intel chips. Yours truely helped find the bug in Intel's math coprocessor back in the 90s. Intel knew about the bug, but, they denied it for 6 months before we published the proof. Then, they claimed it would only affect 1 user in a million. BAD NEWS if you're that user.
Bend over Longies, it's that time again.
marco the genius : - ) I Yinz is gettin tired of this, just place a market SELL order and live happily ever after, maybe longer.
I know I can't get 1000x the speed of an i7, but, if you could parallel a number of Intel chips-say 256-who do you know anybody who could engineer it, and what would it cost. A 256x increase won't get me to ELO 3,000, but, it will get me to 2,700, which is the minimum IGT will consider.
marco the genius : - ) Are you a EE?
when she learned about Monica on the Drudge Report.
marco the genius : - ) Bend over folks, looking like another 3,000 point drop on the DOW tomorrow. If it weren't for BAD luck, Yinz wouldn't have any luck.
Think about it, okay? Is it a pumpmeister like wacko weaver, or, a Black Knight like marco the genius? Comon, answer truthfully.
marco the genius : - ) Waco weaver thinks he's your daddy, or something. Gawd, I get Ebola symptoms even thinking about that. Soooo, why is marco the correct answer, huh? Anybody? Because, if Wacko weaver were all there was, Yinz would be in INTC at much higher basis, and when it regressed to more fundamental levels, y'all would be up that proverbial creek without the necessary means of locomotion. If marco rules, Yinz is rich! I'm not your daddy, think of marco is the bestest friend Yinz got. NOW, SELL ALL YOUR INTC STOCK AND DONATE A PORTION OF IT FOR A HIT MAN FOR WACKO WEAVER!
This workstation used to do mathematical and financial simulations, something like Monte Carlo simulations, and stuff. The kids around here were using it to play games on, so I grabbed it and put my stuff on it. It used to belong to GS, and I have no idea how old it is. I do know its over 500x faster than my i7-2.64 GHz chip and it plays 250 ELO points better because of the speed.
marco the genius : - ) IGT may be interested in using it in Las Vegas if we can fit into their standard station. They're afraid some super chess player will show up and take it to the cleaners, so they're insisting on a 3,000 ELO rating. This must run at least 1,0000x faster to do that. I really need something cheap or some Russian-who stole my idea-will walk off with the paycheck. I'd even buy a few shares of Intel's stock if they help me out here.
Okay junkie, I don't know anybody with experience who understands those FPGAs, and I hear they're slower and take more power than ASIC.. AND, how much do they cost. I'm limited to under $25K.
marco the "super" genius : - ) Any of those beasts have a C complier yet?
Yep, it is ASIC. Why can't INTC make a cheap chip like that?
I can't share the application code on a public internet, and privately I'm not giving my IP address. That benchmark I referred to above predicts the speed ratio between various CPUs and that RSIC station. I saw where some EE massively paralleled over 10,000 80xxx chips years ago and the damn thing ran on the power it takes to run a hair dryer.
marco the "super" genius : - ) The application is for a gaming engine for a chess playing computer which will become a casino gaming machine. The machine will offer a payout of $1,000 for anybody who can beat it, but, it costs $10 for the chance. It has an ELO rating of 2565, but I need to get to ELO 3000 before the vendor will back it. One geeky EE offered to place the program on a chip, but, he wants more money than I can afford on my $80/week salary.
Following benchmark ...RISC is 128 bit
simple program +, -, x, /, ^ and sqr()
iterated 10,000,000,000 times
i7-2.64 1800 sec
RISC = 3.308 sec
Need something 40,000x faster than the i7-2.64, which I doubt Intel makes.
marco the "super" genius : - ) Soooo, what's out there. This means a lotta money to me if there's something that fast under $25,000.
Do you actually do anything with these Intel processors, or do ya just know the technicals?
What's the fastest Intel processor on the market that costs less than $25,000. I need something like a supercomputer at a workstation price. I've run outta gas on this stupid RISC workstation and need something that can fly. Does INTC have something I don't know about, huh?
marco the "super" genius : - ) I noticed a HUGE difference between these Intel chips and the RISC stuff, like 544x faster than an Intel i7-2.46. What's Intel's super chip that can match that benchmark, huh? Just curious.
Sounds like we're iterating over J, in an infinite loop, maybe longer. Yinz should ask yourselves: WHY DID I BUY THIS POS STALK, huh? Possible answers include:
1) I was off my meds
2) I hate money
3) The devil made me do it
4) I meant to sell, but I hit the buy button by mistake
5) I believed INTC's lies
6) I need a loss for tax purposes
7) Yea, I messed up, but, I never admit I own it.
marco the "super" genius: If anybody finds out you own INTC, they'll take y'all for a sucker. Iffin Yinz get a lotta ads in the mail, that's a clear sign they already found out. Save yourself the embarrassment, dump it secretly before anybody finds out.
