Linda told me she makes at least $10 a day doing this, but, she only does it to suits. She's our cashier who learned this trick at a nearby bar restaurant where she used to work. Here's how she told me it works.
When a customer (suit) pays and there's change for a twenty or ten, she pays out the change first, pauses, then the lowest denomination bills next, pauses, then the higher denomination bills next, and so on. Some customers, without looking, take off without checking after a pause. She gets away with it at least twice a day. Can't blame the poor kid, she has a couple or three kids and daddy left home.
marco the great :-) I guess she figures the suits sole if from some working person, and she's just stealing it back. It's kinda like a reverse stock swindle, where the rich fat cat steals it from the working man. BTW, MS put Da Kabush on INTC tomorrow, hope y'all read it. Bye
OMG, did they leak the news early last week? Huh? Why would they do that, isn't that illegal?
marco the great :-) sorry it didn't get the pop so I could short it again, but, I have to work this morning anyway. Sleep Joe, the dude we hired to replace Tommy, slept in and was 20 minutes late on his for day. Interesting, a lowly short order cook like marco has to educate y'all about stocks and manipulation.
Yo witless, consider this a cyber kick in your greedy little GD capitalist #$%$.
marco the great :-) Quake in yer boots you slimmy asp, I'm getting ready to kick you again.
Yea, I know, futures are up right now, but, they are a reverse indicator, meaning look out below at the close tomorrow. Trust me on this, witlessweaver will be crying and screaming like a baby by 4:00 pm.
marco the great :-) Lets have a little bet, I bet INTC gets hammered after a little run up tomorrow. Barron's leaked their story Thursday, and their buds are setting a up a HUGE dump campaign. Sneaky Barron's. Hey Barron's, sneak me a beer!
Yo fanboy, FYI
Tommy just got fired, err, he was allowed to quit first. Somebody ratted him out, probably that dippy blonde they hired as our cashier/hostess. It's a shame, Tommy was unemployed for over a year and his girlfriend is pregnant. I wouldn't mention it, but, it just makes you wonder where Tommy will find work next, maybe your favorite restaurant?
marco the great :-) BTW, that stupid Barron's article pimping INTC was leaked last Thursday. Everyone will be selling Monday. All those recommend stocks went up more than the market in lockstep, and, they'll go down in lockstep just like they went uppity.
Two fat suits came in for breakfast earlier and started trouble right away. They yelled at Sally because she took an extra few minutes waiting on another table before she took their order. Then, all they talked about was how food workers didn't deserve more then $7.25/hour, and how awful Obamacare was. Gimmie a break. Welll, they both got their just deserts ...hehehehe.
Tommy, the new fry cook trainee we just hired, gave em both the" Waffle Schebangie", he spit in their scrambled eggs. The whole kitchen was laughing, but, apparently the two consevative Obama bashers left fat and happy.
marco the great :-) Just goes to show ya, watch what you say and who ya say it to. Also, watch what ya buy and what semiconductor ya buy it from, too.
"... A large trader is positioning for another possible leg lower in shares of Intel.
About 15,000 February 22 puts were purchased for $0.37 to $0.40 in less than 5 minutes yesterday, led by a print of 11,000 priced at the top of that range, according to optionMONSTER's Depth Charge tracking system. Open interest in the strike was just 2,464 contracts before the trade appeared, showing clearly that this is a new position.
These long puts lock in the price where traders can sell the stock through mid-February no matter no matter how far it might fall. They could have been purchased either as an outright bearish bet or as a hedge on a long position , but either way the contracts will expire worthless if shares remain above $22. (See our Education section)
INTC rose 0.81 percent to $23.74 yesterday but closed below its 50-day moving average for the third session in a row. The chip giant has been trading sideways since gapping down from above $25 on Nov. 22 after the company issued disappointing 2014 revenue guidance at its annual investor meeting.
Total INTC puts made up more than 62 percent of yesterday's option volume in the name. ..."
marco the great :-) SumBuddy nose sumthin
Hi folks. marco marched all day in the friggin rain for a living wage, $15/hour + benifits, like most of y'all folks. It's a disgrace how these greedy capitalist Pigs can justify all those excessive profits, while making poor, struggling workers go broke and live in poverty. If those companys refuse to ante up, those companies should be taken from them and given to the workers who deserve them more. Taxpayers are forced to spend billions of $$$ on welfare and food stamps because these companies want slaves, not employees.
Next time you eat at McDonalds or the Waffle House, you should leave a nice tip for the entire staff. Hey, we cook the food, bring it to ya, and clean up after ya, and all you have to do is sit there like Da King of Farruk, or something. I can't stand customers who complain they didn't get enough butter on their toast, or their food took too long. Try getting sympathy for somebody who makes $100/hour screaming at some making $8.25/hour, because his eggs are a little over cooked.
marco the great :-) all you rich, millionaire, fat cats should sell some of your INTC stock and spread it around to low paid fast food workers. Look, you're gonna lose it anyway if ya keep it here, why not spend it where it will do some good.
Many of y'all folks bought this POS north of $25.00, and just wanna get even before ya dump, I get it. If you dump your shares, not only will ya save buku bucks, you'll also earn points for a free bitcoin. That's right little Pilgrims, a free bitcoin will be given away to the lucky INTC bagholder who finally gets smart, dumps his shares, and can prove it with a broker's statement. Oh, I forgot to mention, ya need to dump at least 5,000 shares.
Qualified ex-INTC bagholders will receive two tickets in our drawing which will be held X-Mas Eve. Two lucky ex-INTC bagholders will receive free of charge, less shipping and handling, a nice shinny new bitcoin.
marco the great :-) Simply post a link to your profile with a picture of your brokerage statement to qualify. All qualified applicants will receive a free coke and fries at any participating Burgertory. Oh, offer not valid in states where restrictions apply, okay?
Your invidious pejoratives expose your sadistic ambitions to mislead the common pool of retailers into a distorted view of INTC. The once proud INTC can no longer be viewed as a lucrative enterprise.
Marco the great :-) rhebus sic stantabus MFer. Now, bug little Pilgrim ore you're dead where ya stand.
We're at the end of the year folks, where fundamentals mean little, and technicals rule. So, here's a tech rule(no pun intended): people balance off gains and losses to scrape up money for next year. They do it in the most tax efficient way: sell losers and big gainers. Now, can anyone tell me if there were a lotta suckers who, like witlessweaver, bought INTC a lot higher, thinking like a moron that greater fools would bail him out?
If so, then if you're too chicken to short this POS, please don't get stupid and buy on the dip coming.
marco the great :-) I hate to see people lose money, which is why I'm here to help y'all out a little.
Bad news for INTC tomorrow, but, here's how y'all can profit.
Count up all the long shares of INTC you can find, then, short 2x as many shares as you have long. I know you longs are so married to your INTC stock you'd rather sell your first born son rather than sell your first bought shares of INTC. By shorting 2x your total long shares, you can keep your precious hoard, yet, stiill be on the right side of the major trend here, DOWN!
marco the great :-) I'm gonna see if I can convince a professional shrink to help some of you morons out, and do the right thing, dump INTC hard. It's not becuase I'm short-err, I have a couple or three puts-I'm just worried about ya, and wanna help yaz out.
and anybody else that gives me a hard tyme hear.
The minimum calamities from a level 1 hex that can be expected:
1 your dog will run away
2 your spouse will have an affair with your best friend
3 your car will have a major breakdown
4 you won't get no raise next year
5 nobody will pay you back the money they borrowed from you
marco the great :-) I've reported your mean, sadistic comments to Da Pubio Response Center.
China preparing for W A R with USA & Japan. Get ready for a 25% drop in stocks next week.
marco the great :-) OMG, it the S&P500 goes down 25%, what happens to INTC?
So long as the rest of yaz don't have no problem with the fact that the Pilgrims snuck into the local Indian village and stole all their food for their Thanksgiving day feast, happy turkey to y'all too.
marco the great :-) I becha witlessweaver needs to lose some weight, what do ya think?
There's a lot of BIG institutional cash still stuck in INTC that is desperately trying to get out, along with a lot of smarter Longs who finally know what a significant warning for all of 2014 means.
marco the great :-) INTC is dead money for at least 18 months. I bet this stock is well below $19 before it starts trending up again. Don't count on that dividend being $0.90 for long, rumor has it they're going to announce a cut back of 22.5 cents and suspend the buyback program. Bye, bye $20. Remember, marco warned ya ...Oh, I was too busy to get my short in this morning, they called me out and I couldn't get to the assistant manager's computer in time. I'm thinking about quiting my job here at the Waffle House, it's only 20 hours a week, and I'm hauling in BIG ca$h shorting INTC. Watcha think, should start a newsletter or sumthin?
Hug em and buy em a beer. Then, thank him for his service. There's no better friend to an INTC buyer than a short. I think the reason is quite obvious to most rational people. The only people who may have a bone to pick are would be sellers.
marco the great :-) Instead of hurling ubiquitous, slanderous, pejoratives at your best and dearest friend, assuming you're a buyer type, try a little love. After all, you're richer because of his sacrifices.
Told witlessweaver, but, he just wouldn't listen. Just goes to show ya, you can lead a weaver to water, but, ya can't make em swim. tee hehehehe...
INTC needs cash for 2014, either huge shelf offering, or dividend cut, maybe both.
marco the great err...genius :-) short 2,100 @ $23.90 in pre market. I don't expect 92 cents like Friday, but I do expect we'll settle below $23.25 real soon.
