Who would call themselves a #$%$?
Anyway, 26% of shares are on short. Consider that shorts (probably one yourself) are more likely to post than non-shorts (because they have a vested time interest whereas the long can wait for a storm to pass), I dont think "all pupmpers" are looking to dump...you just have to realize that 26% of holders want this to drop, and need it to as they will have to repurchase shares.
That is a pretty high percentage; if Monday is decent to better report, they will clamor to cover, causing a run on Tuesday and on. There are always 3 options: Bad, the same, and Good. the only way these 26%'ers can profit is on 1/3 chance - that there is bad news. So they write articles. they hire writers.
I am holding on, and seriously hope that people would not "bet" the money wishing for the failure of another company. Put on reality glasses and you will see that there is a product that has value to others for which they are willing to pay. And that is real.
As a holder, and thus far a loser, on GALE, this is why I am holding. IF there was only hot air behind this company, they would double down with denial, trying to change their PR. By reverting to facts and data, they removed themselves from teh fray, and show confidence that there are good numbers. Otherwise, they would not boast about it!
I like the fact that there is a product here, and with earnings on Monday, I am hoping that the reason the company does not respond to constant barrage of negativity is for the "dont bark back rule" I was taught. The rule is that only a dog will bark back at a dog; if you are above that, you dont bark back. I hope the reason they havent "barked back" is because they know that they are above the frey, and feel confident that they are above playing the barking me vs. you game.
I never recommend a buy, btw, to stockpickersmarket, only express opinions.
You are a mind reader...I feel like there is no choice but to hold. Not only did I sell at the top - I changed my mind and bought back! I had a nice win and lost it all plus more.
I read up daily on ZGNX, have been holding for about 2 months. Never has anyone posted anything about Purdue. First Senators dont want, now a rival company - there was no talk of such a thing anywhere.
This is why it makes me suspicius - usually there is chatter about competition. I am now down, but will hold for tomorrows unexpected story that will switch it around for something else.
I think so as well....there are too many people who have too many shares to take a loss on so they will surely raise the price.
Was there a singular event that effected the sudden turnaround in sentiment? This was not as high flying as PLUG...
you think it is oversold and ppl will buy to make up for the need?
I impulsively bought at 4.50, not sure why, just for the hell of it, and would like to minimize my loss here.
After all of the talk of PLUG & Friends,, I feel that they aura will make more investors recognize the attributes of CPST.
It's been years holding, feels like we "gonna be startin' something"
Good luck to us!
I've mentioned on this board that my dads company has CPST's installed for about 7 years now...that is how I came to CPST stock. They are a production factory, have minimal bills in electric/heating etc. due to Cappy's and other big businesses visit their factory to study it - and many plan on buying. My dad is on "the ground" so to speak, an electrical engineer who is running a factory off grid, always on power, and combined with Solar. The people who need power and have massive utility bills are turning to CPST.
Leave the hi lo's to other comapnies; it is the heavy lifting that cpst can do that we are waiting for people to realize.
Thank you - bought in under $10 at least for that. I had been holding FCEL for years and sold out on Thursday with a respectable gain. In general, I've been following the FCEL/PLUG/CPST trio for a few years, and PLUG was the burn. Hoping CPST gets some traction now as well.
Best of luck to all, thank you!
I've lost money on PLUG in the past, and I am watching this unfold and cannot believe it.
Is it too late to jump in? is there a metric to use for PLUG now? Every day I doublt myself on it and the next day it is just flying higher.
Am I too late to the party?
