Hey stern fellow, nope I do have a number of others. Holding CPST since '08 actually, and read your posts daily.
CPST is not a stock that trends with the market. If it did it would be a lot higher from the recent run. Usually there is a press release that they sold another unit and it moves up, too long without and it moves down (or earnings )
Thus, I was asking if anyone heard any news...
So, my profit was wiped out yesterday, and I am looking for positives...just feel like all that I read is false about AMD, it was my first experience with it. Now holding.
So, you think a $5 pop. Prior to earnings, there was loads of good news and the high was in teh $4.60's...what makes you believe that thee will be a "pop"?
Do you have sensible info or is this more hot air? I truly wish it would, that would make me VERY happy. Just need some sort of fact.
Please state why....and why if they are healthy did they not project this in todays earnings.
If everything is sooo rosy, again I ask, who would let their stock and company be viewed so negatively? They should say it like you say it if it is true.
Really this stupid? Look at every article from Seeking Alpha, the Street the last week and it was full of positive good numbers. Consoles, xbox, Apple, graphics chips, Kaveiri....you are right, I am stupid, for not securing my gain prior to earnings.
This is a bull market; stocks are running, people are going for numbers that they normally would not. I wasnt betting, I was investing in a company that appeared to be on the mend.
Over the last 2 weeks, there have been constant posts extolling the virtues of this stock, consoles, why pc's dont matter....is this going to crash now? Seems to me like all the writers are liars to pump up a stock they are probably shorting even through they write that they have no position. Maybe their friend does who shares the winnings.
I was really enthusiastic about going into earnings, I was up a decent amount, only to now be burned. Wait a year, wait two years...an inability for a company to properly communicate guidance and expectations is a company that does not want to convey that information.
Not sure what to make of AMD at all now.
Seems that they are focused on the product that will carry itself. You find more about them from customers implementing, which is what may make this a winning Trojan.
We are at a high (1.80) we havent seen in a long time (holidng since 08). I feel that people do not expect the PR glitz some other companies put out, and that is what makes the value under appreciated. Not saying it is going to fly high like crazy (would love it to do just that!) but I think it will have a continual up trend, and the market feeling now seems to be have a will to carry it to $2.00 before a pullback.
I dont have a price target, but I do feel comfortable as the product is a proven one with real customers. It is not an overnight Solyndra, but a long hauler.
Considering I bought back in the day @2.21 or so, someone made cents off of me.
