lmao yea sure!!! where is the post for the correct stock then?? what a loser!!!!! you come on here to do that???? bahahahahahaha. Pathetic has a name and it's mongo
all these johnny come lately's have really took a dump on this board. Before the spring/summer, this board was very cordial and informative. It actaully made sense to come on every day or so to see whats up. now its just non-sense spewing followed by more. congrats mongo and your gang of misfits, you got to the party late and now are nothing but whiny lil itches cuz you missed the boat on this stocks runup and now watching it go sideways, and its driving you guys to talk about toilets. As a shareholder, what is wrong with a fee for a person flying in your aircraft??? bunch of fools mostly left. so annoying to sift through the garbage for any useful info. why don't you guys go to the DAL page and play with captain omo, i mean flybo. losers should stick together.
sitting here thinking about my positions for the rest of the year and as we all do am trying to pin a value on the stocks I hold (or want). Regarding AAL, I think we have all gotten a little spoiled and ahead of ourselves with the recent rise since the merger. The return so far has been unreal (and am not even including pre-merger positions which am sure plenty of us held). This company still trades at a p/e discount to its peers (rightfully) due to lack of "history" with the newly merged companies. Once a few earnings are in the books, I believe this airline should trade in-line with its peers (actually hould be valued higher but for conversations sake will stick with in-line). In addition to higher institutional ownership when it gets added to the big board. It is not out of the realm of possibility that there is still a 50% upside by eoy. look at where we were a few months ago. jmo
American Airlines sets first dividend since 1980 as revenue rises • 8:59 AM
American Airlines (NASDAQ:AAL) -1.4% premarket after saying it posted the highest quarterly profit in the company’s history, and will pay its first dividend since 1980, highlighting a transformation since the airline emerged from bankruptcy and combined with US Airways.
The $0.10/share quarterly payout is part of a capital deployment plan that includes more than $2.8B in debt and aircraft lease prepayments and $1B in stock buybacks.
In addition, AAL says it will make supplemental contributions of $600M to its defined benefit plans this year, above the $120M minimum required contribution.
During the quarter, AAL's passenger revenue per available seat mile rose 5.9% on a combined basis, while its load factor, or the portion of seats filled, fell to 84.3% from 85.3%.
Q2 pretax margins were 12.8%, vs. 7.4% a year earlier, on a combined basis.
2.8 Billion capital deployment plan GREAT
dividend and stock buybacks GREAT
600 million as opposed to minimum 120 contribution to benefits GOOD
PRASM up 5.9% GOOD
pretax margin 12.8% vs 7.4% AMAZING
7 months after merger and a 70%+ gain ytd. what more can investors want?????
and Q3 will Guide very well.
to all on this board, efff yoursleves. you are all just guessing. one week its a great stock, the other its a loser. i must be nuts for wasting so much time on this board. glta and keep up the funny comments because its all you have. not me, or you, know s what comes next and to argue it amongst a bunch of trolls who have no control over pps anyway, is an exercise in retardation. keep guessing why the stock moves at it does. copy and paste your yhoo articles some more. none of you are worth a pot to #$%$ in. and before you cqan reply mongo, you are by far the saddest puppet on this board. go get a hug or just do everyone a favor and walk off a very high cliff, commenting on everyones post ambiguously while not having the 200 bucks from your weekly pay to even put in. keep counting our money you sad little hateful loser. bears bank account would crush yours with ease, so save the pink land rover bit and do humanity a favor and just go back to your barn. airbaby and the rest can do the same. past distributions, this board has been nothing but useless and taking a break and coming back to see wat it is. havent seen a uselful comment since JML. GLTA but i just cant stand the trolling anymore.
am a long as well, but also trade. for those bashing us traders (only wheb stock is red btw, you longs love those moves up). UAL and AAL down 2% but my trade position is green by a mile. all am saying is there is more than one way to skin a cat. would have preferred to make money off a drop due to other reasons than loss of life, but thats not up to me. my thoughts are with those who lost their lives, and bad things for those responsible for hurting the innocent.

YoU HAD BETTER HOPE YOU'VE SEEN THE LOW!!!!!!!!!!!!!
This post, along with plenty others. proves mongo is either a short (doubtful) or has no shares. therefore his posts, like his existence, are meaningless. meliodias23 has more brains than this deeeebaggg
seriously, are you undera rock or something? you are following an airline message board and can't see the reason for a sudden drop out of nowhere.
