    An answer to my question

What makes THE LYING TROLL thinks I reply to it when it is clear my reply is to another poster (Unless investwiselymyfriends in one of its numerous aliases).

A/cm is applicable when it is clear widths are being discussed, as "1cm wide" used in the post I was replying to, STI's presentations use A/cm in this context.

The OP is discussing the RCE capacity, which is why the SDP and IBAD weren't mentioned.

I'll discuss the stabilization layer in an already open thread that is related, to keep things on topic which hinders THE LYING TROLL obfuscation tactics.

Actually slitting a 1cm (10mm) wide tape into two 4mm wide tapes would result in each 4mm wide tape would have 40% of the A/cm-w of the original 10mm wide tape in a perfect world with the remaining 2mm wide strips as floor scraps.

JQ, "we're doing a little bit of pre-staging and trying to prepare ourselves a little", i.e. they sweep the floor.

Just using the "factors" that r2d2_n_c3po used in 2011 to demonstrate the projected revenue was now half, as only one 1000m RCE has been obtained.

The cited poster used the factor $0.40/Meter. I make no claim this factor was correct to project revenue.

We currently do not know what the margins are for the 1000m RCE, as it is being "dialed-in".

Its difficult to estimate the margins on the 100m RCE, as there are no meaningful revenue and production costs are buried in Research & Development expenses line of $1.5m to produce a couple hundred of meters of wire.

As claimed in the post these posts are replying to, "THE LYING TROLL has a tendency of making things up." is a very polite understatement.

    In this thread:
r2d2_n_c3po: "e.g. STI has started ordering certain long lead parts for the second production RCE machine. JQ said as much in response to a CC question. Now why would the UILT stupidly lie about this?"

mask_ipx_spx: "THE LYING TROLL caught in another lie, "looked at" does not equal "pre-purchasing"." (See 2014Q3 SA CC transcripts)

r2d2_n_c3po: "Now why is the UILT lying about me so-called lying. As I stated earlier "looked at" indeed does not imply they purchased some part, but "...we're doing a little bit of pre-staging and trying to prepare ourselves a little,.." does IMO!"

Yep, a true prophet, a strong buy, at the high rs adj. $21.36, from there SP went due South. Perfect for those looking for a true inverse indicator.

Waiting for the next expression of a ""sentiment"". [Chuckle]

As for that "strong sell", I have no idea what flagged that. I never ever use that field. I must have accidently clicked on that item. Well I'll cancel that out and for this one time intentionally express a "sentiment" as Yahoo terms it.

I will indeed give SCON a strong buy. In the last month STI has steadily climbed from the $1,40's (where shorts like jb0 drove it, and I bought some of those ridicously cheap shares. I will also truly enjoy watching the shorts scramble to cover) to today's close which represents a 22% increase.

THE LYING TROLL caught in another lie, "looked at" does not equal "pre-purchasing".

2014Q3 SA CC transcripts, "We've looked at taking a few steps to potentially make the turn up of a second machine quicker by pre-purchasing some components that are potentially long lead time, but not necessarily high value and but, the relationship for us right now Jim, is we've got to get this first machine produced and having it pump out wire and then we need to secure the agreements and the demand to consume all that wire and then, then the decision making on adding the second, third, fourth machine becomes a lot more real, but until then, we're doing a little bit of pre-staging and trying to prepare ourselves a little, but job one really now is, to first machine operational and sell the capacity of it."

My, my, what a prophet this r2d2_n_c3po is. Let's see May 2011 + 5 years, brings us to May 2016.

At least cash is not needed to solve problem, as STI doesn't have any, nor is it producing commercial quantities of HTS wire, but its selling samples bringing in "no meaningful revenue".

Wonder how little is "no meaningful revenue", as last Q STI reported $86,000 in non-HTS wire sales, which only cost them $390,000 to produce.

That value turned out to provide 1Q of cash that STI has now almost burned though. Dr. Hammond, former CTO of STI is now yelling "Free at last" all the way to the bank. It was the price JQ was willing to pay to shut him up that RCE-LATS was a superior HTS wire manufacturing process.

SA transcript 2012Q4 JQ speaking about Resonant, "So ultimately, what we have is an ownership share in an enterprise that we think has a some very significant potential going forward. And if they deliver on the promise there that we expect that ownership position will be of value to our shareholders. And that's what the purpose of spinning that organization out and setting them free was in the first place."

    Cable demo project delivery

    by mask_ipx_spx Dec 29, 2014 4:42 AM
    mask_ipx_spx mask_ipx_spx 13 hours ago Flag

The cable demo wire order was announced Jan. 2012 and JQ claims it is in contact with customers on a regular basis.

The cable demo customer is an international firm, so there maybe some translation issues thus JQ thought they wanted fries with that order.

    See, problem solved.

Oh, you mean STI still hasn't shipped those 144 meters? Not STI's fault, blame their supplier, Mcdonalds.

The above sounds as rational as what the paid pumpers are spouting.

If you thought the last dilution was "BIG", bet you can't wait for the next one so you continue to get paid to "work price up coming months"., as STI's performance can't do it.

Dilution is so BIG that ..(12mln compared to 10mln market cap) there is no way its able to distribute that at scons low prices.. so those buying the dilution will likely work price up coming months

Now in the last week of January, any guesses as to when the next dilution will be announced?

My guess by the end of 1st week of February, as STI's cash will be so low, they will be running on fumes.

Does this count as outrage, "This whole Resonant deal is another example of STI stockholders being fleeced by management,..."

As you are aware this board is dominated by the paid pumpers boiler room tag team.

This is just another example of STI insiders ripping off the stockholders. Resonant Inc. was created in Feb. 2012, a wholly owned subsidiary of STI.

Resonant LLC, a Limited Liability Company was registered in CA, on May 29, 2012, that same day STI transferred 14 patents and 2 pending patents to this private company, the former CTO of STI became the CTO of Resonant LLC and an unknown STI insider also joined this LLC.

STI went from 100% owner to 30% owner and had the privilege of forking over an additional $182k by 2013-Q1. STI stockholders didn't learn of this swell deal till 2012Q2-10Q.

STI hasn't published any information on the details of the agreements between STI and the partners that own Resonant LLC, a private company not required to file with the SEC.

Now with this new swell deal, "STI holds a convertible note that represents a minority of Resonant's fully diluted equity". STI stockholders don't know the details of this deal, but "fully diluted equity" implies the previous 30% ownership is less.

This whole Resonant deal is another example of STI stockholders being fleeced by management, stockholder gained nothing, but the privilege of forking over patents, pending patents and $182,000 by Dec. 31, 2012.

These deals should have never taken place till after the HTS wire initiative had played out, or is it that STI management knows the end game of that initiative and are scrambling for the lifeboats.

"The capacity of the 1km system at 1cm wide equals 2 km of 4mm when slit.", which also halves the A/cm.

japan is a baldfaced liar, "looked at" does not equal to "bought some parts".

Told you it was a non issue ... nasdaq is in business to list companies, not delist them.

Most when they have a viable businessplan have 180 days + 180 days grace period and after that a panel hearing.. and if viable business plan in place.. another 180 days...

first 180 days passed... and 2nd 180 day period granted on october 3rd

Interesting, is STI's IR lying to this poster? We know that the RCE in Santa Barbara failed to deliver wire for the cable demo, and now JQ admits the pilot RCE will not either.

    ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
    I contacted Investor Relations by investwiselymyfriends • Aug 17, 2012 1:05 PM

As suggested I contacted STI investor relations concerning the late delivery of the 100 meter rce/cdr equipment and whether it would cause a delay in delivery of the 100 meter hts wire samples.

Here is their reply - "For clarity, the existing RCE/CDR system installed Santa Barbara will be used to produce the samples required for the cable demonstration project. The 100 meter RCE/CDR pilot system scheduled for delivery in 2H2012 is designed to demonstrate to our customers the yield, scalability and repeatability of our process, while providing STI validation of critical machine design parameters. This capability will be important in 2013 as we scale our manufacturing process to kilometer lengths. I hope this clears up any ambiguity. Please feel free to contact me if you need further clarification or have any other questions."

    This is excellent news IMHO.
