In my opinion only, first quarter they did a debt swap. It was between 50 and 60 million dollars. Plus they had a special meeting and diluted over 100 million dollars worth of shares. They could give themselves bonuses and options. This quarter they did another debt swap which is considered the slowest quarter of the season costing over 50 million dollars. I think we will set a new record of newer lows because of our great CEO and their team. Do you really think the CEO and the management team deserve bonuses and options?

The #1 reason why the stock tanked

In my opinion only, there is a lot of damage a lot of investors lost a lot of money. A lot of investors are in the red. I'm in the red big time. I believe that analysts are going to keep downgrading this and the shorts are going to keep shorting this. This will possibly hit newer lows. The management and the team have to step up to the plate and correct the mess they are in it. They are talking about two new design winds. They are not making it clear that the two design winds are in the process or are done or what. They are not even announcing them. Maybe they could delay bonuses or give back bonuses until it is at fair value. They have to start doing some kind of action to correct this mess. Otherwise the stock will hit newer lows. It would not hurt if the CEO apologized for the error he made this quarter with the debt swap. Someone has to take blame and if you work for the company and you cost it a lot of money you would get fired. Maybe one or two people should resign for this error. Something has got to be done to correct this but not saying anything and ignoring it is making it worse. The only way I could get my money back is wait for it to hit newer lows and average into it. I would wait for a buyout or the two design winds they are supposed to announce.

In my opinion only, if you read all my posts on AMD you know that I am a strong believer in AMD and its stock. They are a leader in future cutting-edge technology available today The # 1 reason why I believe the stock tanked is because they did the debt swap which was over $50 million expense this quarter. By doing the debt swap this quarter when it is the slowest quarter going the CEO and their management team sabotaged their chances of beating their estimates this quarter. I understand about the debt swap but if they did it in the third or fourth quarter where revenues and the stock price would be a lot higher they would have gotten a better deal with interest rates. I understand that rates cold possibly go up in the third or fourth quarter. If you were trading 8 dollars or more you would have gotten a better deal because most loans are based on the assets and the value of the stock. This stock has a chance of going 30 or 40% higher or possibly doubling if we posted a 7 cent profit. We posted s 2 cent profit. We lost 5 cents because of the debt swap. 2 and 5 is 7. I do't believe management or the team deserver their free bonuses and options that they received last quarter because of the debt swap. It cost the investor close to 100 million dollars in diluted shares. To make matters worse they went down on their estimate for the third quarter. The third quarter is supposed to be 1.57 billion now they are saying 1.51 billion. That is a decrease in estimate of 60 million. Do you really think these people deserve a bonus and free options for a great job they did this quarter and last quarter? Why are they getting bonuses and options if the company is loaded up with debt and they can not pay it because the company is postponing it. What does the investor get? They do not offer dividends and the stock value is going down meaning our investment goes down with it.

In my opinion only, if you read all my posts you will read that I am a strong believer in AMD and their technology. I was also heavily invested in this company. First quarter they did a debt swap and a special meeting where they issued diluted shares for bonuses and options. This quarter which is supposed to be the slowest quarter why would you do a debt swap and add expenses of 50 million dollars for doing the debt swap when you could have done it in the third or fourth quarter without damaging the stock when revenues were higher. If they did not do the debt swap they would probably have made a higher profit and they would not have a 50 million dollar expense this quarter. They would beat estimates and the stock would go up 20 to 30 percent. both the company and the stock would be more valuable and they probably would have gotten a better deal with interest rates because the stock price would be higher. By doing the debt swap they sabotaged this quarter I will not be surprised if we hit newer lows. This is poor leadership. They sabotaged this quarter.

  • In my opinion only, the first quarter they rewarded themselves handsomely with stock options by diluting shares which cost the investors. These are a lot of shares. This is not a private company they can not do what they please. This is publicly traded They have an obligation to investors. I could see them rewarding themselves with a good job when the stock goes up. Giving out bonuses and stock options that are free, when the company is in billions of dollars in debt and the stock price is undervalued and underpriced due to the leadership. Here is one thought. I understand about the debt swap but it did not have to be done in the second quarter, it could have been done after the second quarter and the stock would probably double. The stock would have made a record profit and would have most likely doubled. They could have made the debt swap in the third or fourth quarter when that was stronger which it would not have affected the stock as much because revenue would be higher. By doing this, they sabotaged this quarter. Now the stock is trading too low and the investors took a bath. This is a very poor decision made by the CEO ad the management team. Maybe they should give up the free stock they received for doing such a great job. In my opinion they lack real leadership. I am a very unhappy investor.

  • In my opinion only, the stock market is down today you have more red than green. AMD is up. Is news starting to leak out? This undervalued underpriced
future cutting-edge technology that is available in today's time has tons of patents to protect their technology. Their technology has a lead over he competition. All the analysts are changing their tune. I guess they do not want to look too incompetent when earnings comes out. Shorts do not cover today. Please cover after earnings when the stock is 6, 7 or 8 dollars. Shorts you got money to burn and you will burn a lot of money.

In my opinion only, what I would like to hear is blowout profits on the second quarter. Higher estimates for third and fourth quarter is also what I want to hear. I would like to hear is how many millions of consoles would be sold in China an estimate. I would like for them to talk about all of their patents and how valuable they are to protect their cutting edge technology. Because of these patents, we have an edge over the competition. I would like for them to talk about the ARM 64 bit server. Hopefully they will name a couple of contracts with 800 pound gorillas. I would also like to hear a surprise announcement of a possible buyout with an 800 pound gorilla. PC sales are up. Game consoles are up. Tablets are up. Graphic cards are up. These are all the things I want to hear on the conference call. A few surprising announcements too.

    Sentiment: Strong Buy

  • In my opinion only, earnings come out in seven days. My prediction of what is going to happen and this is only a prediction. Nobody can predict the future. Let me rephrase this to this is my best guess and that it could happen. You have 110 million shares shorted in this stock that they have to cover sooner or later. Hopefully the smart ones wil cover before earnngs come out. This is based on my research and what is available and online. You know that when a product is gearing up for back to school sales or they are gearing up to sell game consoles in China. This is done 2 to 3 months ahead of time. When you buy summer clothes you buy it before summer is here. They start selling summer clothes in March. They start selling winter clothes at the end of the summer around August. All of this is gearing up for back to school laptops, desktops and MacPro. They are gearing up for all three game consoles that will be sold in China. Most likely these chips were bought and made this quarter. Does this make sense to anyone out there? If they start sellng game consoles in China, which has over 500 million gamers, they will definitely gear up for this big event. My best guess is that we will have a blowout , second quarter, third quarter and fourth quarter. The stock could trade a lot higher the last couple of days before earnings and with blowout earnings the stock could gap up 20 to 40%. If the shorts have to chase the shares, this thing will really fly.

    Sentiment: Strong Buy

  • In my opinion only, analysts are crying the sky is falling for AMD and that AMD has no true value. They come up with bogus articles, bogus claims and bogus tactics. They try to discredit its value. let us have a little common sense here. we all know AMD has the lead in the game consoles all of them Playstation 4, XBox 1, Wii. China is opening the doors for these game consoles to be sold. That is very huge for AMD. AMD has the best video card in the world. It is the fastest one too. Their brand is starting to get recognized and customers are starting to request it. Their brand is starting to get globalized. Customers request it because they want the best and AMD is the best you could buy. They have a superior product at a superior price. This week they were granted two more patents. Here is a little secret. All these analysts that are downplaying AMD saying that it is zero value. They say the sky is falling for AMD. They are all bogus attempts to put fear and emotion into the stock. No analysts want to talk about all the patents AMD has and how valuable they are and how much edge they will have in this field because they own the patent. You own the patent, you own the product. The competition can not copy it because you own the patent. These patents could be worth billions of dollars. That is why AMD has the edge over the competition. That is why AMD is a great goldmine for any 800 pound gorilla for a takeover just for the patents alone. They have patents that protect them for the 64 bit ARM server and 86 bot ARM server. They have the advantage over Intel because of their patents. How come the analysts do not want to talk about all the patents and how valuable they are because they do not want you to know. In my opinion this is the most undervalued and underpriced stock on the market.

In my pinion only, let us suppose I am not saying this will happen if a buyer really wanted to buy out AMD I think they would try to buy it out before earnings. Most likely they would try to offer double what the stock is. You have close to half a billion shorts. If the shorts covered the stock would prbably double anyway. If it goes into earnings and they beat estimates big time and they predict stronger growth for third quarter the stock would probably double and if they tried to buy it after earnings you are talking about a lot more money. Everybody heard abut the rumors I am not the only one. They have been floating around for a while. It just does not make any sense for the shorts to keep shorting it when you have a lot more to lose than to gain. How high do you think this will go if they had to cover half a billion dollars and good future earnings. My best guess is this could double.

    Sentiment: Strong Buy

  • In my opinion only, over 108 million shares are shorting this stock. That is close to half a billion dollars. That is a lot of money they have to cover before earnings or on earnings day. If they cover after earnings this stock will really cost them big time. this stock has huge potential of doubling and tripling on any news. News of a contract with one of the 800 pound gorillas for the new 64 bit or 86 bit ARM servers. It could be anyone. It could be Amazon, Google, Microsoft or Facebook. We already nailed Verizon. there are rumors of a potential buyout which could happen any day, anytime any minute. Any big news like pre-announcement of earnings could send this a lot higher. Let me understand this. You do not want to cover when the stock is 4.00 or 4.50. Do you want to cover when the stock is 5.50 or 6.00? Maybe that is too low. Maybe you want to cover when the stock is 6 to 7 dollars. If that is too low for you maybe 7 to 8 dollars? With a buyout could go a lot higher. Maybe 12 or 14 dollars. You shorts got money to burn. You guys will get burnt big time.

    Sentiment: Strong Buy

  • In my opinion only, a great article came out today in PC World. The title of the article is NVIDIA abandons 64 bit Denver chip for servers. It is a very interesting article and I recommend everyone read it. AMD has the lead and the advantage with their 64 and 86 bit ARM server chips. The even have the advantage over Intel. They are the only ones who could produce 64 and 86 bit ARM server capabilities AMD can. There are not many players in this field.

    Sentiment: Strong Buy

  • In my opinion only, we have gotten a downgrade from a professional analyst on weak consumer demand on PCs and excess inventory next quarter. Last week another analyst confirmed the PCs are in high demand and better than expected. Even Intel came out with better guidance for this quarter saying it was for strong computer sales and growth. Professional analysts could not predict the future. They rely on old data and today's data. There is no future data that they could base their claims on them. You have to ask yourself a very important question is the analyst working for a hedge fund or investment firm. How are they trading this stock? Are they long? Are they shorting the stock? Analysts should reveal their position in the stock and the firm that they work for position in the stock. If they are sorting the stock this could be a conflict of interest. It could also be considered manipulation.Another important question if a professional analyst downgrades the stock and you sell and the stock takes off and you lose money could you sue the analyst because he was wrong but he is a professional who got paid for his advice? Not like me where I give you my opinion and I m not a paid analyst but I am an investor who has many shares in the company. In my opinion this is another bogus attempt to manipulate the stock and drive the shares down. A professional analyst should be liable for their claims or they could be like the weatherman who is right once in a while but mostly wrong. I think this is another bogus attempt to manipulate it.

    Sentiment: Strong Buy

  • In my opinion only, Friday was one hell of a day. there is no reason to take this down to 6%. No news, they targeted stop losses, the wiped out all the call options at the money or close to the money. Nobody could explain what happened on Friday. I am hoping the AMD CEO steps up to the plate and requests an investigation with these hedge funds and mutual funds and people who are shorting the stock. It is manipulation which occurred on Friday. It was probably illegal what they did. If they open up an investigation against these market makers maybe a few laws were broken. I am actually writing a letter to SEC asking them to take some action against what happened on Friday or look int the matter. I recommend everybody else who owns AMD shares to write a letter to SEC and ask them to open up an investigation about what happened on Friday. There were probably a few laws broken. The CEO should request a investigation and file a complaint with the SEC. They should have them look into this matter immediately because they are destroying value in this company.

    Sentiment: Strong Buy

  • In my opinion only, there is a lot of heavy buying in after hours. Just after 4:00 somebody bought 5,853,186 shares. You have a lot of heavy orders like 9,0000, 5,0000, 10,000 shares. At 4:10 somebody bought over 20,000 shares and somebody bought over 64,000 shares. At 4:27 somebody bought 15,793 shares at 4.34. He must have put a market order and the market makers screwed him by filling the order at 24 cents higher. So far it is close to 7,000,000 shares that are all buys. About1.5 million are sales. You still have 2 more hours left because after hours trading ends at 8:00. Something is going to happen good or bad. I hope they do an investigation on the market makers because it s totally manipulation. I am hoping the company will come out with a press release.Hopefully we can find out what happened today.

    One crazy trading day

In my opinion only, I believe we are in a phony play. They are trying to manipulate this to drive it down so that after the market closes the news is released and stock would take off. This is an attempt so the shorts could cover, take out options and keep the stock price low while they are in negotiations. I see this happening several times with major mergers and that is what my gut feeling is telling me. Hopefully I am right and we get terrific news after the market closes and Monday is a huge payday. I could also be wrong too. It is one crazy trading day with no news. Something is definitely going on. I guess we have to be patient and wait.

In my opinion only, the stock traded so far over 35 million shares. It went as low as 4.08. The stock lost a little over 5% today so far. I will try to read in between the lines. The message board has been crazy. People have been bashing the hell out of this for no reason at all. There is no news as to why this stock should be tanking and I can not find out any news as t why this stock should be tanking. My gut is telling me that this is a phony lay. They are trying to manipulate the market and to take out stop losses, take out call contracts so they expire worthless. This is one indication that this has been trading over 35 million shares and they only puled it down 5%. My gut feeling says that we will have a reversal very soon and possibly some great news after closing. Monday might be a great payday for all the longs. That is what my gut feeling is telling me. They are just manipulating this, it is a phony play before the news is released, there is no news and very high volume today looks like a phony play. Always do your own research. It is one crazy day.

In my opinion only, nobody could predict the future.but I have been studying this stock for a long time. I did a lot of hours of research. What is happening today is a phony play. The stock is being heavily manipulated. It is releasing stop losses, shorting it, at the volume of people bashing it online all this to put fear, pressure and to manipulate the stock and to drive it down. I did several hours of research today to see why it was down and the only reason I have find it is a phony play. I have a gut feeling and it tells me we will get some big news after the market closes. We will get a lot of action right before the market closes where it will do a reversal. Most likely it will be after hours and I am hoping that it freezes at 4 so they can not trade after hours. I am hoping that we open up very high on Monday morning. this is what my gut feeling is telling me that something big is abut to happen. This is my pinion and my feelings. This might happen, this might not happen. It would be great if it actually happened.

In my opinion only, what is happening right now I believe is a phony play. It is in the handbooks. Anytime a big drug company is bout to get FDA approved they release a phony story that it might get turned down and they create a panic sale driving the stock down. The stock was very hot for many weeks and the stock was about to make a home run they drive the stock down by releasing a phony BS article about why the FDA will not approve the drug and the stock tanks by 50%. Right after the market closes it gets FDA approved and the stock doubles. All the sellers lost their golden opportunity to reap the reward. I see this happening to buyouts and mergers there is always an attempt to drive it down by keeping news quiet keep shorting it, driving it down and making it worthless, increase online bashing, releasing stop loss orders, creating fear and panic in investors. This is all am attempt to steal shares away from you before any big announcement. It is so you can not reap your golden opportunity reward. Do not get duped by phony plays. The only advice I can give to you is do a lot of research. My research I find out there is no reason for this stock to be down only because they are doing a phony play.
