  • In my opinion only, investors are fed up with the outrageous salary of the CEO and these huge ridiculous bonuses that are based on her performance. How could the company reward these ridiculous bonuses and salaries for such a poor performance? The CEO's specific duty is to increase value for shareholders. The CEO has gotten sued several times for the ricdiculous bonuses that she rewarded herself and it had to be given back the lawsuit was dropped. She was sued by an investment firm. There are rumors and talks of a buyout. Is it possible that she is delaying these talks because she is not part of these package deals. How could a company that is loaded with billions and billions of dollars in debt and has not made a profit in about three years reward insider management team and CEO ridiculous bonuses and salaries. If the CEO is so incompetent and can not produce any value for this company she should not waste any time or money on this company and resign or she better start producing results and earn her money. I feel she should be investigated and put behind bars. In my opinion she is nothing but a #$%$. All she is doing is ripping off investors. Just sell the damn company already and stop wasting time.

In my opinion only, with all the recent developments in this stock I decided to cover and play it safe. I went long. I have a gut feeling that there will be some big news released after the closing bell today. Why gamble just cover and go long.

In my opinion only, it is an exciting weekend and news is starting to leak out. Black Rock owns 56 million shares. Several hedge funds and investment firms have been increasing their AMD holdings. Some analysts have come out upgrading this stock and changing their tune. There was an article on Apple Saturday that they are designing their own chips with ARM technology and not depending on Intel. It sounds like AMD technology in my opinion. We will not know until probably this week maybe sooner maybe Monday. Apple is also getting into virtual reality and it holds several patents. AMD has several virtual reality patents. AMD is a key player with their technology in this field. It makes a lot of sense if they did acquire AMD for their patents and their technology. I guess we will find out soon enough. With all of the news leaking out, a lot of shorts will start to cover if it is not too late. This could be frozen or bought out before the market opens and it could open up anywhere from seven to ten dollars possibly. This thing could close anywhere from 4 to 5 dollars and open up 7 to 10 dollars possibly. It is more of a gamble to short this than it is to go long. Like for me I am biting the bullet and I am covering as soon as possible. I try to cover it in pre-market orders. My advice to anybody shorting the stock. DO NOT GAMBLE. BITE THE BULLET AND COVER.

. Here are some hard facts. Fact 1 1/11/16 CT order was filed we have no idea what it is usually when a company is in a merger or talks for a buyout they usually sign one of these agreements. Fact 2 Black Rock filed Friday 28 statement of ownership SE13G 56 million shares. Fact 3 exactly at 4:00 Friday someone bought 1.5 million shares. Fact 4 AMD has tons of patents that are worth a fortune their patents are probably worth more than the company. Fact 5 virtual reality is gonna be huge this year and years to come that could generate billions. You know what they say about theories and rumors. Most of the time they are true. I do not mind covering in the gap up as long as there is no announcement or the stock is not frozen and opens up three times that amount. Then I would have to get a second mortgage. Anybody who is shorting that stock should question do I really want to gamble or bite the bullet and cover.

In my opinion only, first of all this is freedom of speech. Everybody has it in my opinion even an #$%$ like you. Here are some hard facts. Fact 1 1/11/16 CT order was filed we have no idea what it is usually when a company is in a merger or talks for a buyout they usually sign one of these agreements. • In my opinion only, since Friday at exactly 4:00 a million and a half shares were bought. A filing SE13G came out of Black Rock owning 56 million shares. That was filed on Friday. What a lot of people are not aware of is there was a filing on 1/11/6 a Confidential treatment (CT order) this CT order could be anything. It could be a new contract win or a new partnership. It could also be a new bid for a merger or takeover. Too much has happened in the last 20 days. THis has been heavily shorted by 132 million shares (21% of the float.) AMD as much as I despise the CEO and the management team they do have a terrific product and they are heavily invested in patents and their patents are worth a fortune their stock is way undervalued. With the new products hitting this year and virtual reality will make a big impact this year this stock is primed and ready for a takeover. It could happen anyway any time any minute. I know for a fact that I will cover first thing in the morning if it is not too late. If it is too late, I will have to bite the bullet and buy it anyway. I am hoping I do not have to take a second mortgage out.

    Sentiment: Strong Buy

  • In my opinion only, as much as I hate the CEO of AMD and I fond her to be an very incompetent CEO. Her only self-interest is to rob investors blind and to use AMD as her own personal ATM machine. After saying all that, the real reason why the stock is moving is that Black Rock Investing Firm just filed a SE13G statement of ownership. It is fro 56,317,323 shares. They own 7.1% of the company. This is big. I feel sorry for the shorts out there even for myself. It might be too late to cover Monday.

In my opinion only, I visited AMD's website and they are doing a survey on their products, drivers and services. I decided let's do a survey on the CEO' performance. Every yes is 10 points every no is -10 points. There are 10 questions. Every question is 10 points or -10 points.
Question 1 does this CEO deserve her salary which is ridiculously too high? She gets paid as much as Intel CEO does. I say no. That's -10.
Question 2 does she deserve all these free options worth millions and millions of dollars? I say no -10.
Question 3 all the promises that she made last year in 2015 were any of them delivered? I say no -10.
Question 4 has the stock hit a new 52 week high in 2015 or 2016? I say no -10.
Question 5 is she a competent CEO or a great leader to lead in this field? I say no -10.
Question 6 does she provide any value to the stock or the company? I say no -10.
Question 7 did she delivering new products on time before they become outdated? I say no -10.
Question 8 does she and her whole management team deserve their ridiculous salary and bonuses why are they receiving bonuses for their performances? I say no -10.
Question 9 there was talk of a spinoff and it was never produced I say no -10.
Question 10 there was talk of a buyout that was never produced I say no -10.
Her score is -100 points. I will tell you what she did accomplish since she took over. She took the stock to a new 52 week low. She rewarded herself handsomely with millions and millions of dollars of free options ripping off investors and her team. She put the company into more debt. For the last six quarters they missed estimates and had not shown a profit. She held back on new products that were a year late like the Seattle. She won an award on the worst performing CEO. She made the twelfth spot on that list. In my opinion only, she is incompetent and should resign.

    Sentiment: Strong Sell

  • In my opinion only, the CEO made the list of the worst performing CEO's. She should update her resume include this in her resume or they should post this on AMD as the wall of shame. My opinion only is that they should change the list from worst performing CEO to the most incomptent, arrogant, crooked and selfish CEO. Why is this CEO so overpaid? Why does she keep ripping off investors by looting free shares and using this as her own ATM machine? The most arrogant, incompetent CEO in my books.

In my opinion only, here are some facts that you might want to consider before earnings and why I recommend it as a strong buy.
Fact 1 AMD released several new products that were selling so well that they were back ordered and flying off the shelves.
fact 2 AMD is in more laptops, desktops and commercial computers than they ever were before.
fact 3 Their third season is their strongest season because of back to school sales and pre run up on Christmas inventory.
Fact 4 They are in all the major game systems and game consoles are still in high demand especially around Christmas season.
Fact 5 There has been a lot of positive news about future products that will be available in 2016. the virtual reality that is double digit billion dollar a year growth.
fact 6 This one is probably the most critical one there are close to 140 million shares heavily shorted that will have to cover before or after earnings. You could buy cheap now or pay a lot later.
Fact 7 there are a lot of rumors and talk about either a spinoff, a buyout that could happen anyday any minute even before earnings or it could be announced on earnings.
fact 8 The CEO and management team just rewarded themselves heavily with free options on October 8. In my opinion personally I do not think the CEO is that stupid to reward themselves heavily with options unless there is a big announcement or great news or something else that will make this stock go up a lot higher.
Fact 9 The CEO did not come out and warn of missing estimates analysts
fact 10 The stock has been trading very low volume and nobody is really selling and there is a lot of pressure on those heavily shorting it that they can not drive the price down even when they try with the BS news and articles to manipulate it to drive it down.

    Sentiment: Strong Buy

  • In my opinion only, as much as I despise the CEO and I feel that she is ripping off investors I felt this time this third quarter earnings things are going to change and my best guess is that there will be some surprise earnings. Either she is going to have to start performing or she will be looking out. I will give you five reasons why I think it will be a surprising quarter
the CEO job is on the line is the first,
There has been a lot of positive news leaked out in the last several weeks
    second,
Shares are shorted over 140 million shares that have yo be covered
    third,
They are in talks with an investing firm to buys 25% of the company and they stalled the talks AMD did it has got to be in favor of them is the
    fourth,
New products were releases this quarter and they were flying off shelves is the fifth.
here are a couple bonus ones
AMD is ahead of schedule with their new product that will be released
    sixth,
They cut down workforce by eliminating 500 jobs is the seventh saving $56 million a year roughly.
This could be bought out by several 800 pound gorillas rumors are one or two are in talks.
people who short this stock have to cover before it explodes is the ninth before earnings.
Earnings come out in less than two weeks
    tenth.
Zack came out with a recommendation to sell. Zack is almost always wrong. Zack is more wrong than right. They tell you yo buy when they sell. They tell you to sell when they buy it.
They are trying to bash this $2 stock coming out with BS articles and BS opinions to drive this price down. So much effort on this $2 stock. ???

In my opinion only, the CEO has failed us. She fas failed to provide the best price for the stock. We are so close to break a new 52 week low. She failed to provide critical information on updates on products. She also failed to provide advance news of major events. We heard nothing. She lines her pockets with millions and millions of dollars in stock that they dump on the market. They failed to keep the new products on stock that actually arrive and that could produce revenue. There is a lack of products. The CEO and the management team are a bunch of crooks. They should all be locked up and prosecuted. She should have the integrity to step down because she is incompetent to run the company. She is setting the record for being the worst CEO in history for AMD.

    Sentiment: Strong Sell

  • In my opinion only, it has been a little more than a year since the new CEO took charge. The stock hit a newer 52 week low. It missed on six quarters of analyst's estimates. It went from $2 billion to under $1 billion in cash flow. It recently closed or shut down a business that they bought a year ago that cost a half of a billion dollars. It was wasted money. They tried to liquidate old inventory by holding back new products of inventory that when it was released, made it outdated. The CEO is making some awful decisions. We all know that she is an engineer but we do not need an engineer to be a CEO. My opinion is she is too incompetent to be a CEO. Not only is she overpaid she is ripping off investors by rewarding herself with millions of dollars in free stock. The company is on the verge of bankruptcy due to poor decisions of management and leadership. Do not get me wrong. I believe in bonuses only if they are earned. She did not earn them. If the stock hit newer 52 week highs she would deserve them the stock is hitting newer 52 week lows. She should get paid for the performance of the stock. She owes it to the investors. That is the specific duty of the CEO to get the highest value of the stock not using it as their own personal ATM machine and driving it down to newer 52 week lows. The big question is after they get rewarded these free bonuses why do they dump them on the open market so fast. They do not have faith in their own abilities of running the company.

    Sentiment: Strong Sell

  • In my opinion only, the CEO and management team again raping investors by rewarding themselves handsomely with bonuses and free options. Company is on the verge of bankruptcy, they are paying millions and millions of dollars in salaries for management team and CEO. They reward themselves by stealing from the investors and using AMD as their own personal ATM machine. Not only has the stock turned to the worst but it missed eight quarters of estimates and losing hundreds and hundreds of millions of dollars. recently hitting a new 52 week low. A CEO's job is to insure value in the company. they are working for the investor. They are not providing a specific duty or true value by ripping off investors. This could develop into a class action lawsuit by investors. As soon as they are rewarded the options they dump them on the open market. It is a double slap in the face. They do not hold onto them. Not only is the CEO incompetent and management team is incompetent but they are driving AMD into bankruptcy court. There is a very interesting article about Analyst on AMD Executive Bonuses Unbelievable. The analyst believes that the size of the grants mean that the management and Board of Directors do not care about the shareholders. I am actually looking into filing a class action lawsuit against AMD and their management team for their incompetent actions.

In my opinion only, private or public. What if they did a small spinoff to raise cash. They lowered the debt and bought back stock at 100% return. The company becomes private instead of public. They would have control of the stock where if you sold the stock they would have to sell it to AMD and if you short the stock you would have to cover it at AMD price. It's private. They could name their own price. Does this happen to Volkswagen Jetta. They short Jetta so bad it got bought out there was no stock available. The stock went as high as 1,000 dollars a share. History could possibly repeat itself. The fireworks are coming.

  • masterwallstreet by masterwallstreet Jul 4, 2015 8:36 PM Flag

In my opinion only, fireworks are about to begin. Let us start July 4th with a big bang. Here is another thought to ponder. With all the recent great news about AMD and their products if you read the AMD CEO interview there was a possibility of a slip of a tongue which I almost overlooked. She said the copany would be worth more money in 5 years. They are focused on three main areas. When virtual reality hits the market and their products hitting the market with great review but the CEO said one thing investors are impatient. They want a fast return. With a buyout or spinoff they could get a quick return. Either you wait long term or fast term fixed. She also said private or public too. What if they did a small spinoff and they take the company private. That is like saying we sold part of our business to pay down debt and buy back stock at 100% return. This becomes a private instead of public company. What are the possibilities of that happening?

    Sentiment: Strong Buy

  • masterwallstreet by masterwallstreet Jul 4, 2015 8:26 PM Flag

In my opinion only, I would like to wish everybody a Happy 4th of July. I am hoping everybody has a great fourth of July weekend. Market opens up Monday. This week should be a very interesting week for AMD. Earnings come out on July 16. 119 million shares are heavily shorted that will most likely have to cover. Rumors are still continuing that there will be a buyout. Analysts are changing their tune. You still get a few biased opinions and making biased reports and biased claims. Reviews are coming in about the new product and they are coming in better than expected. They have proof and data to back it up. The latest article Nvidia corporation is thinking about a price cut for its Maxwell 2.0 card. Think about this for a minute. Why would a corporation do a price cut on their product? It is because the competeition is performing better than their product. The only way to compete would be to slash prices. When you have hedge funds and investors who invest in the competition they have analysts put out biased opinions to sell and perform and they are denying the possibility of a buyout. With all the information, data and articles showing the possibility of a buyout or spinoff in my opinion it will probably happen before or on earnings reports. It should be a very interesting two weeks coming. Hopefully we get a big surprise Monday morning a gap up, a buyout announcement, but we should get a lot of news this week. Bad shorts bad shorts what you gonna do what you gonna do when the stock rises on you you fool. I love Money, money is good, money is green, I see a lot of green in AMD.

    Sentiment: Strong Buy

  • In my opinion only, the fool magazine is making a fool out of themselves. This morning we got one good positive article that six analysts believe that AMD has a possibility of doubling. Right after that article the stock was in a momentum movement of going higher. We get attacked by the Monty fool magazine crew. Amateurs, writers or wannabe writers try to discredit and sabotage AMD with their opinions. Every fool is entitled to their opinion and that is why they call it the fool magazine. First they try to discredit the buyout rumor of Microsoft. they say it would not be in Microsoft's best interest to buy the company. The article was misleading. Let us have some common sense here. First of all if Microsoft acquired AMD their stock would probably go up about 5 to 8% on the announcement. They would save money on XBox 1 and XBox 360 or any new updated version of XBox...ect. they would get all of AMD patents that are worth billions. They would get royalties from Playstation 4 and any vendor that AMD has their products in like smart TV, TV receiver, game systems. With all the new products surrounding virtual reality this is a goldmine for Microsoft don,t be a fool and listen to the fool crew
