  • In my opinion only, it has been a little more than a year since the new CEO took charge. The stock hit a newer 52 week low. It missed on six quarters of analyst's estimates. It went from $2 billion to under $1 billion in cash flow. It recently closed or shut down a business that they bought a year ago that cost a half of a billion dollars. It was wasted money. They tried to liquidate old inventory by holding back new products of inventory that when it was released, made it outdated. The CEO is making some awful decisions. We all know that she is an engineer but we do not need an engineer to be a CEO. My opinion is she is too incompetent to be a CEO. Not only is she overpaid she is ripping off investors by rewarding herself with millions of dollars in free stock. The company is on the verge of bankruptcy due to poor decisions of management and leadership. Do not get me wrong. I believe in bonuses only if they are earned. She did not earn them. If the stock hit newer 52 week highs she would deserve them the stock is hitting newer 52 week lows. She should get paid for the performance of the stock. She owes it to the investors. That is the specific duty of the CEO to get the highest value of the stock not using it as their own personal ATM machine and driving it down to newer 52 week lows. The big question is after they get rewarded these free bonuses why do they dump them on the open market so fast. They do not have faith in their own abilities of running the company.

    Sentiment: Strong Sell

  • In my opinion only, the CEO and management team again raping investors by rewarding themselves handsomely with bonuses and free options. Company is on the verge of bankruptcy, they are paying millions and millions of dollars in salaries for management team and CEO. They reward themselves by stealing from the investors and using AMD as their own personal ATM machine. Not only has the stock turned to the worst but it missed eight quarters of estimates and losing hundreds and hundreds of millions of dollars. recently hitting a new 52 week low. A CEO's job is to insure value in the company. they are working for the investor. They are not providing a specific duty or true value by ripping off investors. This could develop into a class action lawsuit by investors. As soon as they are rewarded the options they dump them on the open market. It is a double slap in the face. They do not hold onto them. Not only is the CEO incompetent and management team is incompetent but they are driving AMD into bankruptcy court. There is a very interesting article about Analyst on AMD Executive Bonuses Unbelievable. The analyst believes that the size of the grants mean that the management and Board of Directors do not care about the shareholders. I am actually looking into filing a class action lawsuit against AMD and their management team for their incompetent actions.

In my opinion only, private or public. What if they did a small spinoff to raise cash. They lowered the debt and bought back stock at 100% return. The company becomes private instead of public. They would have control of the stock where if you sold the stock they would have to sell it to AMD and if you short the stock you would have to cover it at AMD price. It's private. They could name their own price. Does this happen to Volkswagen Jetta. They short Jetta so bad it got bought out there was no stock available. The stock went as high as 1,000 dollars a share. History could possibly repeat itself. The fireworks are coming.

In my opinion only, fireworks are about to begin. Let us start July 4th with a big bang. Here is another thought to ponder. With all the recent great news about AMD and their products if you read the AMD CEO interview there was a possibility of a slip of a tongue which I almost overlooked. She said the copany would be worth more money in 5 years. They are focused on three main areas. When virtual reality hits the market and their products hitting the market with great review but the CEO said one thing investors are impatient. They want a fast return. With a buyout or spinoff they could get a quick return. Either you wait long term or fast term fixed. She also said private or public too. What if they did a small spinoff and they take the company private. That is like saying we sold part of our business to pay down debt and buy back stock at 100% return. This becomes a private instead of public company. What are the possibilities of that happening?

In my opinion only, I would like to wish everybody a Happy 4th of July. I am hoping everybody has a great fourth of July weekend. Market opens up Monday. This week should be a very interesting week for AMD. Earnings come out on July 16. 119 million shares are heavily shorted that will most likely have to cover. Rumors are still continuing that there will be a buyout. Analysts are changing their tune. You still get a few biased opinions and making biased reports and biased claims. Reviews are coming in about the new product and they are coming in better than expected. They have proof and data to back it up. The latest article Nvidia corporation is thinking about a price cut for its Maxwell 2.0 card. Think about this for a minute. Why would a corporation do a price cut on their product? It is because the competeition is performing better than their product. The only way to compete would be to slash prices. When you have hedge funds and investors who invest in the competition they have analysts put out biased opinions to sell and perform and they are denying the possibility of a buyout. With all the information, data and articles showing the possibility of a buyout or spinoff in my opinion it will probably happen before or on earnings reports. It should be a very interesting two weeks coming. Hopefully we get a big surprise Monday morning a gap up, a buyout announcement, but we should get a lot of news this week. Bad shorts bad shorts what you gonna do what you gonna do when the stock rises on you you fool. I love Money, money is good, money is green, I see a lot of green in AMD.

    Sentiment: Strong Buy

  • In my opinion only, the fool magazine is making a fool out of themselves. This morning we got one good positive article that six analysts believe that AMD has a possibility of doubling. Right after that article the stock was in a momentum movement of going higher. We get attacked by the Monty fool magazine crew. Amateurs, writers or wannabe writers try to discredit and sabotage AMD with their opinions. Every fool is entitled to their opinion and that is why they call it the fool magazine. First they try to discredit the buyout rumor of Microsoft. they say it would not be in Microsoft's best interest to buy the company. The article was misleading. Let us have some common sense here. First of all if Microsoft acquired AMD their stock would probably go up about 5 to 8% on the announcement. They would save money on XBox 1 and XBox 360 or any new updated version of XBox...ect. they would get all of AMD patents that are worth billions. They would get royalties from Playstation 4 and any vendor that AMD has their products in like smart TV, TV receiver, game systems. With all the new products surrounding virtual reality this is a goldmine for Microsoft don,t be a fool and listen to the fool crew

    Sentiment: Strong Buy

  • in my opinion only, there will be a lot of action this week and I will tell you why. the Greek crisis is coming down to the last hour. Whether they default, get an extension or another country bails them out. In my opinion they will not go into default. If they are going into default the market won't be as high as it is now. they will probably get an extension and a few billion dollars released to them. It will be a very short week the market will close Friday and will open up on Monday. options will expire on Thursday there are a lot of call options that will have to sold or brought . Last Friday in after hours they traded over seventy million shares. Something might be going on. it most likely will happen Thursday night after market is closed. There are a lot of rumors and talk about Microsoft and there are no reports denying the rumors. If you read the last CEO interview she sounds like she is setting up to announce an offer. Do not forget earning report will be July 16. That is more than two weeks from now. There are over 115 million shares heavily shorted that will have to cover most likely before earnings come out. hopefully they submit a buyout offer Thursday night or Friday when he market is closed and the shorts can not cover. I would love for them to come out with an offer when market closes Friday when the shorts can not cover and they open up with a new 52 week high Monday.

    Sentiment: Strong Buy

  • masterwallstreet by masterwallstreet Jun 30, 2015 3:14 PM Flag

In my opinion only, I recommend everyone read the latest interview with the CEO. I will try to read between the lines. she said they are in the righ path to recovery. Their targeting three main areas she did not want to talk about the spinoff she declined to talk about it there is a possibility of a spinoff. she says it will take several years to see the results for the job she is doing. Investors are impatient. My opinion is there will be an offer on the table submitted by Microsoft or another 800 pound gorilla. She will have to reveal the offer to the investors, and we will have to vote on it. the way I read the article is you could probably make a lot more money if you wait five years because the value will be in the turnaround. If you want 100 to 200% return now the value would be on the buyout. It is like she is setting herself up so she could announce a buyout offer.

In my opinion only, I also forgot that an article of Microsoft the article stated that talks have been going on for several months. Also the CEO of AMD did an interview the most recent interview I recommend everyone read it.

In my opinion only, I like to try to analyze and separate rumors, facts and opinions. Let us break this down, let us work with rumors. for close to a year or more, there are rumors of a potential buyout. Any if the 800 pound gorillas could buy them out. Microsoft, Google, Intel, Samsung, the list goes on could be it. the difference between a rumor and a fact is there is no offer in the table. Let us tell some facts, Fact 1 Friday after hours seventy million shares were traded. Nobody could explain where these trades went. Isn't this odd? fact 2 there are a lot of call options that were increased for July 2. About 40000 shares for 2.50 calls. Here is a big surprise for people who do not know that the market is closed Friday for Indepence Day. You have to cover your options on the 2. the market is closed on both Friday and Saturday and Sunday also. This is my opinion only with facts. There could be an offer on the table before July 4. My opinion about Microsoft buying AMD is an opinion only. Here are the facts if Microsoft bought out AMD. They get cutting edge technology, edge over their competition and they would get royalties when Playstation 4 or Apple products that contain AMD products sell. they would save a ton of cash for XBox 1, XBox 360 and others. they would gain tons of patents that AMD own worth billions. Microsoft stock would go up on the announcement. They are able to grow into hardware with their software. This is a win-win for Microsoft and that is a fact.

the cat is finally out of the bag

In my opinion only, I believe you may be right. once the offer is revealed someone with deeper pockets might jump in and you might have a bidding war. I think Google might jump in. This is especially true when virtual reality is available and starts to take off. This is most likely going to revive the computers because Apple IPad and IPhones and Imac won't have the capabilities for virtual reality. I expect that Intel will try to throw a wrench into the works but I doubt it would work. There has been some strange activities in trading Friday night. Seventy million shares were traded in after hours. I think something is in the works already and should be very soon.

    Sentiment: Strong Buy

In my opinion only, the cat is finally out of the bag. The news finally leaked out. I always said to myself if anyone buys AMD it will be Microsoft. Here are the reasons why it will benefit Microsoft. think about this and think about it good. Microsoft is in the same boat with all the chip makers. they are sitting on over $95 billion in cash. this is a drop in the bucket and pocket change to aquire AMD. Microsoft is in the same boat with Intel and AMD. The computer section is slow. Apple is killing the desktop and laptop. Microsoft makes its primary money off of software. They are starting to move into hardware also. If they bought AMD it will give them an advantage over the competition like Sony. They would get commission on every game system plus royalties. They would have a great world's best graphic card that is used in professional, medical and military industries. It would also have the graphic card in the game systems. What will help this year is the virtual reality system. It will bring computer systems back to life. AMD new computer system is a top notch computer system and a game system combined with a stylish design. The virtual reality will explode but it requires too notch video card, memory capabilities and a fast CPU. let us see who has all that. AMD does. Microsoft also won't have to pay AMD royalties for its graphic card being in the XBox One and XBox 360. They will also get royalties from Apple products.A lot of AMD technology is in Apple products. Sony and Samsung also have AMD in their products too. AMD is in a lot of high definition smart TVs and tuners. Let us not forget Nintendo new Nintendo system will come out this year. For all these reasons this is a no brainer. This could happen any day any time any minute and hopefully tomorrow.

    Sentiment: Strong Buy

In my opinion only, reviews are starting to come in. A lot of them are excellent. A couple are biased. You can not buy these cards. These cards are all sold out. They are selling like hotcakes. As soon as they receive them they are sold. There are back orders on these cards. Analysts are changing their opinion. They are going from a sell to a hold to a buy. Zacks upgraded it to a buy. Other analysts are coming on board and upgraded it to a buy. My opinion about second quarter earnings they did not spend much money on expenses. They were selling inventory. It was paid for for the fourth quarter and first quarter. All that inventory will have a big impact on the second quarter. We most likely will post a profit. Now think about it for a minute. What expenses do they have? We all know the second half of the year will be hot and heavy. New products were released this month. That will have a big effect on the second quarter. No way this stock should be trading this low. With all the news that was released, all the upgrades, rumors, new product lines and the economy is booming now. The trading bill is going to increase the market, economy and companies will make a killing especially tech companies. Be prepared for a new 52 week high in less than 2 weeks, most likely Monday.

    Sentiment: Strong Buy

  • In my opinion only, you follow the news. The trading bill is on the president's desk and will be signed that will create several hundred thousand jobs. It will also create billions and billions of dollars that will boost the economy. If you listen to the news about this, they say companies that are involved in high tech like AMD will explode. They even said UPS would have 20% more packages and increase in volume. The next big event will be the agreement and the deal with the Greeks. If the Greeks come to terms and the deal is made that will move the market too. Let us talk about the rumors. Let us talk about the buyout or the spinoff. In 117 million shares that have been heavily shorted, how much time do you guys think you have to cover. If a buyout or spinoff occurs, it most likely will happen on Friday after the market closes. This stock could double or triple and open up with a new 52 week high on a Monday.

In my opinion only, you have the new Fury X graphic cards just hit today. I went on Amazon to purchase one and you know what they are all sold out. They are taking back orders when cards are available. There are four vendors selling these cards and none of them have any in stock. That is how hot these cards are. It is not only at Amazon, it is all over these cards are being sold out. This is great solid news. When talk of a buyout that could happen any minute or a spinoff the shorts are all screwed. A short squeeze tidal wave is coming.

    Sentiment: Strong Buy

  • In my opinion only, Robert James Anderson just received 1.5 million options in advance. I never saw this before. If you go under the filing unless I am reading this wrong. It says these option are for eight quarters. Eight quarters is 2 years ahead of schedule. This is if I am reading it right and there are no mistakes or errors. My opinion about this would be during the buyout they usually pay people bonuses ahead of schedule and the ones that are not taken under new management when the company gets bought out. That is what I am thinking unless I am wrong. Bonuses at today's value are over 3,900,000 dollars. That is a nice bonus. How long did he work for the company and when did he get hired? He has the title of SVP (Senior Vice President) and GM (General Manager.)

    Sentiment: Strong Buy

  • masterwallstreet by masterwallstreet Jun 23, 2015 3:56 PM Flag

In my opinion only, after a little pullback today the stock is still solid. Most likely we should get some news after the closing today. There is something going on behind the scenes here. Rumors are flying all over the place. Something is going to leak either way. We should definitely get some news after closing today. We have new products hitting the shelves tonight. We should get news on this also. This stock has a potential of closing very low and opening very high like 100 to 200% higher if a buyout or spinoff happens. Do you really want to take a chance and not be in the action.

    Sentiment: Strong Buy

  • In my opinion only, there is a lot of talk in articles about a buyout surfacing but it is not official yet or a reasonable offer is not submitted. There is also talk about a spinoff. Either way AMD gets bought out. The shareholders would make a huge profit. If a spinoff happens, AMD and its shareholders would make a huge profit. New products will hit the shelves tonight. There should be news articles tomorrow with reviews, data and benchmarks. It should be a a very busy week. If we can break that resistance of 2.70 the stock will fly a lot higher. If news breaks about a buyout or a spinoff which could happen any day any time, the stock could open up at the gap of the price for the buyout and spinoff. In my opinion this could happen this week. We will probably get news about a buyout or a spinoff this week.

    Sentiment: Strong Buy

  • masterwallstreet by masterwallstreet Jun 22, 2015 2:52 PM Flag

In my opinion only, the reason why you should buy more is AMD could get bought out any day any time any minute. Also, reason #2 they have a Plan B. Plan B is either a spinoff or a breakup which is a win-win situation for investors. Reason #3 the new products will be available this week. Reason #4 you will have analysts changing their opinions. Reason #5 a lot more exciting news should be coming. Reason #6 we will get reviews on the new products. Reason #7 we will get data with benchmarks comparing the competition. Reason #8 this is a great buying opportunity with all the exciting news hitting this week. Reason #9 I love money. Money is good. Money is green. I see a lot of green in this stock. Reason #10 over 120 million shares have been shorted that will have to cover very soon. This is the perfect squeeze the tidal wave squeeze.

    Sentiment: Strong Buy

  • In my opinion only, we have a lot of news about the possibility of a spinoff or break up in talks. You have new products being available this week. We should get plenty of news articles with analyst's reviews and benchmarks and data reviews. Out of all the years I watched AMD I never saw it this hot. Pressure keeps on building and building on the shorts. They are intentionally trying to keep this down digging a deeper and deeper hole. Over 120 million shares are being shorted that have to be covered soon. This is either stupid or insane to short a stock that has such a large potential of skyrocketing to newer 52 week highs. Come on people wake up what a great opportunity you have. I say Buy Buy Buy and buy more.
