No dude, when you have a long position and short against it less than your long as a hedge you have a net long position that is hedged with a short position. Martin doesn't have to work for a hedge fund to understand that. Something wrong with you man.

It's insensitive of you coldinny to suggest that homeless trader who is also aqua who is also bonaza shouldn't care about every single thing seth posts. He will hate and follow seth until the end of the earth as you already know. That's what idiots do, Hate and follow.

Besides not following the easy to read instructions, just accept that they won't do those things you mentioned. Apparently you don't realize it is already on line at (Amazon). And SodaStream is eliminating some Macy's because the product sells better at middle income places. 2 strikes so far. Tesla makes no money, only thing to learn there is that people believe in cars more than soda makers duhhh. Strike 3.

I think they will find the right formula but other markets will support the total business. I think they held back Mexico announcing for some reason. Maybe next week.

I don't know if the negative sentiment is baked in or not, especially if they address revenue expectations for the year. But I agree that the consumables are doing well and probably show improvement on tomorrow's earnings. Viva Mexico too drjohn!!

Actually the stock is foreign issued so the SEC doesn't say anything about any requirements. That's why the sale was direct and there doesn't have to be an official filing.

You are obviously new to this story snow.ball7 to ask such a question. There's no money in the category without refills. Every system that has and will come out without cylinders is just too expensive and don't sell. 2 companies have tried before and failed.

Bloomberg reported on the PEPSI buyout last year at $95 a share they said. So yes they have done this same thing before with no buyout happening.

Reviews on Amazon are mixed at best

    by bonanzagrade Jul 23, 2014 3:00 PM maxpain52 Jul 23, 2014 6:50 PM Flag

4 stars is not ok, when you are rated on 5 star scale. You continue to try to post these biased posts and think people can see for themselves the truth. Why didn't you post any of the 4 and 5 star rated comments? Wow, what a biased person you are Aqua. SodaStream Jet is rated 4 out of 5 stars with 1595 ratings. Out of that 281 ratings are 4 stars and 817 are 5 stars. Only 88 ratings are 2 stars and 250 are 1 star. So over 70% of ratings are positive on SODA. And as coldinny said before, the BDS writes a lot of those negative reviews the same way they post negative comments on SodaStream's Facebook pages. You are such a POS Aqua, go join the BDS already and be done with you.

Nobody can blame you from hiding from your entire comment and lack of knowledge. This is the identifier of stupidity. You also said "But I can tell you first hand there is very little interest in this product". Selling millions of machines, syrups, bottles and CO2 every year. So either you are short or stupid.

Very true Seth, most stores don't even carry the Naturals anymore just Natural cola, the one flavor. Only a few chains and of course BBBY sell more than one Natural flavor. Just too expensive and to be honest the diets aren't much different but cost less. I tried the Stevia already, the orange is really good but I won't be buying it again because its pricey. Just wanted to taste the difference between diet orange and Stevia orange and not much difference. All good tasting though imo. Read the reviews.

Correcting me if I'm wrong but isn't SodaStream's best regions in United States the northeast and mid-atlantic? He would have been better off saying something factual like the south does poorly with Sodastream. Ignorance be his choice.

    Inventory update...

    by bj12blue Jul 22, 2014 9:45 PM maxpain52 Jul 23, 2014 7:29 AM Flag

Shelves were completely empty for two months during the 3rd quarter last year. So it is impossible to be over inventory at Walmart. Just go back and check the posts when everyone was complaining that Walmart was out of stock. Also, I have two stores with the 20ft section still up, but only scarce amounts of product left so they have reduced the shelves. Colas, energy drink, root beers, ocean spray, Kool aids mostly all gone, few crystal lights left. Doesn't look link pink lemonade is selling. Diet orange, Dr. Petes and Ginger Ales gone. We have some bottles left over but on clearance so I assume they will go pretty quickly. The 20ft section is in the same place but they condensed it down to 8 foot now and the rest is set up with back to school stuff. I went to customer service at one Walmart to exchange my co2 and they had two boxes behind the service counter with empty co2 to be returned to soda stream. I asked how many they do a week and the lady said about 10.

Amazon is selling lots of SodaStream

    by johnlastnameq Jul 23, 2014 7:18 AM maxpain52 Jul 23, 2014 7:22 AM Flag

Yes I saw that. They had to go through 3rd party suppliers when they sold out and even they were selling out. I wonder what the impact is to stores.

  • maxpain52 Jul 2, 2014 3:55 PM Flag

No, your failing to admit that your statement was wrong. PE is the expectation, based on past performance that is what a PE is for. It doesn't matter if you are a broker or retail investors. Even at its peak PE based on the TTM SODA did not trade at 30+ for two years. So put your math here so we can see where you came up with this.

IF Coke or Pepsi flavors were available...

Your wife is not the entire user base or the future user base or the prospective user base, your wife is just an example of hope. Hope is not a fact, it is just hope. And you continue to ignore the fact that PEP has given no indication it has any desire to cobranded. If they do, then yes, soda will benefit, that is common sense. If they don't SODA will have very big problems competing for syrup sales or 25% of their business, that is common sense you are ignoring for some reason. Saying that Pepsi could partner with GMCR as an example of exclusivity in co-branding makes even less sense then you have already made. If PEP cobranded with GMCR there is no way they would partner with SODA and vice versa. Cobranding is absolutely exclusive to platform. That is precisely why PEP has said they have no plans other than to remain platform neutral. You still don't make sense, not even in the least bit. You CANNOT be platform neutral without being syrup neutral. If you cobranded with a syrup, that syrup is designed, by its composition to work in one system because no system is alike. GMCR's is very different and won't work with SODA's system syrups. Theirs is pods which will be read only technology and SODA's is not. Bevyz is not, SDS is not. They are all different so there is no way that if you cobranded on syrups you are platform neutral. It works with one or the other and no in-between. I don't understand why you can't grasp that concept unless you don't know enough about the other systems. So don't waste my time with your wife and cobranding misunderstandings please.
