Inspired direction is expected. New leadership has a great opportunity to provide it. I am willing to support it, but am not willing to wait for its demonstration.

  • The company gave guidance that they will exceed by more than they can yet know. The only difference between us, is that I know of it, now. So, I am adding common.

I appreciate the recent steps to re- establish confidence in the firm's accounting. The stock action on the tape, supports better results forthcoming. I continue to add common to my position.

JCP's chart-trend line, indicates, $20-$24, suggesting, more positive developments within the company are underway. Recent action to expand the company's reach to the consumer, is a welcome change.

Ipass is hiring, again. Has approx. $ 33m in cash, without any debt. Retained an M&A V.P. from Jefferies Grp.
And, has much of the common-share float in strong hands. A surprise of .02-.04 better than expected earnings per share, February 18, (-.05 is the consensus,) would catapult the market-cap. to $150m, or higher.
Sequential, and y.o.y growth, nicely beyond expectations, would also stir an investment advisor upgrade, or two.
I am adding common, predicated on the assumption of either a strategic relationship, or the former, to push the market capitalization higher.

$2.33 - $3.64 per share, over the next months, on any of the above transpiring (a market cap. between $150m-$240m). Anything is possible, including a demonstrable quarter of solid growth. Whereupon, I will maintain my position for the duration.

Many companies are actively seeking new avenues of growth, from Oracle to Cisco. All adding to existing divisions of revenue, or creating new divisions through acquisition. So....... on balance, the company is yet attractive.

  • I have made preliminary contacts w/complementary organizations to initiate due diligence. If any of you have ideas of strategic, or complementary fits with other deep-pockets, do not hesitate to initiate a due diligence process by those firms. Ipass is an attractive value at $92mm....too attractive. So, lets get this ball rolling. Kaplan, and Tedesco, need all the help they can muster; It is our company, after all.

There is so much opportunity to a larger conglomerate, that it is a wonder we still remain independent.
Anyhow, we'll get what we desire. Let's hasten the process.

  • We are in the vicinity of recognizing the answer to that query. A couple of months away, I should think.
Privately, I think, not enough :)

The IPAS tape-action is productive and seasonally, ( specifically so, for us), we are in a temporal unfolding of higher levels for the common shares to rise.....so, may add again. A technical look at the stock trading- pattern has been positive for quite awhile, notwithstanding, the delay of momentum. Further, a trading-gap at $10 was estbl. several years ago, and because the firm is still active, I suspect, when it thrives, we shall fill that gap. My only concern, is that E. Kaplan, does not get in the way of his own success. A Great CEO knows how to assemble talent, then stand out of their way to perform as they see fit. When you allow for that, great, unanticipated results follow. It is the key to All success: let your people go (so to speak), they, then, will perform to your, and their, best advantage.
Very easy prescription to write and practice, but one, that most companies of people fail to understand.
Still, in the end, we shall know of what character, and thus, the character of the company becomes. We have not arrived, yet, but the door is within reach.

May back-and-fill for the next day, or two. $44 is visible.

Nice opportunity. And, early tomorrow, too.

A little gem of a company that is now producing tangible results. The sensor technology has wide application, but mgmt. is focused on three points of entry. The medical-device contract is about to blossom into reality, while the foot-wear and automobile industries, are within weeks, to some months away. These contracts have potential to make revenue grow by leaps-and-bounds. A micro-capitalized company that , I believe, will become much larger, very soon. It is very well managed. I am very pleased to have re-visited this company and purchase shares at these recent trading prices.
I expect a 20-150 fold move in the value of my common shares over the next years. It is rare to find a financially disciplined micro-cap that offers such opportunity. Very rare, indeed.
