"we're in the right sector at the right time...as I see it..."
Rule has been patient, i must say. Lot's of experience. It looks like he is sitting on a throne and can pick what he wants against the conditions he prefers. I remember that 2 years back he indicated that a lot of Asian money was arriving to be invested in the sector through Sprott. At the time he also said that he had his strategy. Patience has been part of that strategy, that is clear.
He may expect that capital markets will collapse and that that will give him even more room to get what he wants later in 2015. Amazing. Where is the "smart" money?
Two months ago I got convinced we are heading towards 1984, in which case we will have a brave new world where continents start fighting other continents. Charles Nenner even sees old wounds between China and Japan opening up again.
Maybe we should all go local again, just like the "cuello rojo" horizon is. No hiding abroad is viable, when you don't have food and friends locally. So far for GOTS as well.
It is about time they come with the Kensington/Jualin resource update. Initially, it had been scheduled before yeear-end of 2014.
Let me propose: release the pot smoking crew in prison and bar in the financial sector mob instead.
Life will become so much better.
You call it confusion. It is nothing different from what the mob does. Extortion by all means.
The Eurozone will need that gold reserve. That is clear. But once the gold price is reset, those that have the gold will be able to write off the huge burden of debts that is upon them. For the last time.
I may want to live in India or the Emirates. I'll stay in Europe for the time being, because they produce plenty of goods which are important in life. They lack fossil resources, but those can be replaced or we may get Putin delivering them to us.
Before Golddumper smartly tells that this #$%$ 1400 is due to the Euro collapsing, let me state that all currencies are now losing towards gold and that at least the Euro is backed by 11.000 tons of gold holdings in Central banks + ECB.
There is a reason why.
Just all have a look at Gold in Euro's. Yesterday we had a retest of the #$%$1070 level, which is a higher low, which is ending the bottoming process. We might have another retest on Monday.
After that we are on our way to #$%$1400 gold.
All these posters have appeared on this board after CDE bottomed early november.
Will we ever live in a free world again?
Each and every miner is having impairments. I don't think Coeur will stand out there. More important will be where the AISC has arrived on average throughout the quarter.
Adam Hamilton said something is his latest article I totally agree with.
""Gold and silver stocks have vast room to keep running. Not only were they just trading at fundamentally-absurd price levels, but investors are radically underinvested in this sector after abandoning it over the past couple years. The market capitalization of the gold and silver stocks remains so small that this sector could easily quadruple and still account for well under 2% of stock investors’ overall portfolios."
Coeur is doing push-ups, because the short sellers have overplayed their hand by selling Coeur to a share price of $3.20 early november as if this is some start-up exploration company. Totally crazy, even today's price.
The last week the short sellers have been buying back like crazy, because they know they won't have much time left. Naked short sellers have turned markets into a virtual casino. Up to us to find out where the real value is, invest near the absurd lows and be patient.
"same as it ever was" was song by David Byrne of the fantastic NY band "The Talking Heads" early 80s.
I don't know what will happen, but part of that chunk will probably end in the hands of the short/naked short sellers. For me it is all speculation, what will happen.
Ed, I was surprised to see that Apogee and thus its Pulacayo-Paca mine, has been taken over my a Mongolian company called Prophesy Coal Corporation. It Coeur would habe been willing do something there, that opportunity now seems further away than ever.
They are so braindead, that they don't understand that their illegaly acquired wealth has no sens and cannot be enjoyed, when even their own house, family, neighbourhood and country are destroyed because of their senseless greed.
Criminals do what criminals do best. Destroy everything, including their own house.
