The whole thing seems fishy.Make an announcement like that with a 10K that is 10 days late.
An unnamed company and caution that it might not happen.It looks like to me they are doing some window dressing before the bad news comes out. I was born at night but not last night.

I appreciate your comment. I think it is a very bad as well to have the shareholders left in LIMBO.
Some of these people on this board are clueless and think everything is okay.
If it was minor -you would think a few days late. But two weeks? Maybe they are trying to find another auditor?

Withholding any news is bad. They are late in filing under the SEC rules. The stock is moving lower in price with the uncertainty of why the report is being withheld.

Another poster said that the problem might be that the Accounting firm doing the audit might not want to sign off on their books. I have no idea for sure.

Fast ball 98 -Wow 1/3rd of PDOs stock price is in cash. Looks like a real interesting asset play. They are also in San Joaquin Oil -which is good.( better than nat gas)Reminds me of another Aspen Energy

Price is going down every day the report is delayed. When the report is finally issued it will go up if the firm is still a "going concern". If the report continues to be delayed at some point trading will be halted. (Not sure about the rules on that)
You could be looking at some kind of " Major Internal Issue" with this one.

Sauble - I think folks are getting a little nervous about the report. The SOX auditor kind of explained what might be happening.( Thanks to Pearl).

Long History of long profitabilty?LOL ? Can you read an earnings report or a balance sheet?

You will be lucky to see drilling on these leases 10 yrs from now. You can drill in
th Mississippian Limestone in Kansas/Oklahoma for 1/10th the price.

The Alaska deal is a pure speculative acreage play. What you don't seem to understand is how
expensive it is to drill in the North Slope enviroment. Probably 3 times more expensive than North Dakota.
And oh - don't forget the enviromentalist nuts. After they finish with the Keystone Pipeline - guess where
they will be heading? Time to hold the operators on the North Slope hostage. Remember ANWAR ?
Look what happened in New York state.
