    How do analysts miss this?

Just saw the first message under "Headlines" on their website. It says" FDX Boosts Numbers Using Stock Options". All I know is their stock went up over $1.40/share directly following the announcement the other day and UPS dropped over $1.00 (I believe, due to the Ukraine scare). Fred keeps pulling that rabbit out of his magic hat. Either that, or he has excellent Business Advisors. Hope you'll take a look at it and post a comment. Maybe i misinterpreted it.

Are you saying that a controlled substance is allowed to be shipped? I have to take pain medication and if I let it run out, NO scrip can be mailed by my doctor or released from a drugstore without my signature and I.D.
    It's not the shipper's responsibility, it's the supplier's.

It's just amazing how the media loves to attack UPS at the slightest provocation. My gut feeling is that the big money guys are going to drive down the stock price, then on the low they'll jump back in just in time to reap the anticipated increased dividend and ride the wave back up. We, the people, who invested in UPS for the long term years ago don't stand a chance against the greedy, instant gratification moguls. They control the market nowadays.

Anybody else tired of the wise#$%$ negative press?

So glad you posted this "spot-on" analysis of our so-called "learned analysts" who only show ignorance and bias. The morning after Christmas I went on-line and the first headline I saw was 'UPS RUINS CHRISTMAS!, by "The Motley Fool". What ruined Christmas was the spoiled Americans who want to be catered to by expecting last-minute delivery. Sure would like to have seen them on a UPS truck bustin' their buns getting the job done, unlike them sitting in a warm, cozy office on their fat butts spouting such drivel! The sad part is, they get paid well for their bashing.

By the way, doesn't UPS get voted "one of the TOP 10 most well-run companies in the U.S"????.

Exactly...STUPID, STUPID MEDIA! They'll do and say anything to hype up a normal occurrence. It's the spoiled American public who thinks the world revolves around them and demand instant gratification. Just do your shopping on time folks and prepare for the Christmas rush. UPS delivered millions of packages on time but nobody seems to care about those statistics. AND, JUST THINK OF ALL THOSE PEOPLE WHO saved money by waiting until the day after Christmas to do their shopping to get the bargains!!! Do you think they were worried????

Thanks for your excellent response. I did know that Fred hobnobs with the DC folks quite frequently and is quite the "Golden Boy". Perhaps that's why he gets away with the illegal maneuvers he manages to hide. I guess he even convinced the powers that be that FDX is an airline and that UPS isn't. Therefore, FDX falls under Airline jurisdiction and UPS is under railroad jurisdiction. Sure do see a plethora of FDX trucks on the road!!!, , . would drones qualify???? - LOL

Sure would like an answer from Dudesbag who always has objectivity in this postings. There are far too many UPS bashers posting negative and probably untrue comments on a great company. I would like an intelligent response from dudesbag as to why UPS stock languishes while FDX seems to leap forward. Part of it, I know, is that UPS is unionized but there has to be more to it than that. My daughter has been a driver for 18 years and gets nothing but kudos from her customers. Days are horrendously long now but the truck never goes back to the barn until it's empty. Would you please respond.

Sorry. I didn't mean to be rude. It's just that so many incorrect info gets published on this message board castigatiing UPS with false acc;usations. However, I do have my receipt from the UPS store here in Mashpee Commons on Cape Cod for the scanning and e-mailing of 10 pages, and the cost was $5.00.

The unfortunate part of being on the open stock market is that the "big guns" anticipate the upswing and drop millions of dollars into the stock. The next morning, they sell everything and run to the bank with huge profits. So much for middle America who has no way of surviving the tremendous greed in this country. I keep hoping that UPS will go back to being a private company so we might have a chance to reap some of the rewards.

Don't know where you went, but I just did the same thing. They scanned and e-mailed 10 pages and only charged me $5.00. Either you are one of those people who hate UPS and constantly post incorrect info or the UPS store you went to has a serious problem!!

I'm sooo disgusted with how this market works! FDX ACTUALLY got a "pop" today because they settled an OVERCHARGE suit from 2011. If this had been UPS, the market would have been all over UPS and painting a doomsday picture. Then we have the the BIG guys and day traders throwing millions of dollars into UPS stock today, only to sell it at the end of the day and reap their rewards. What happened to the good old days when we were a private company??? Where's Jim Kelly????

Why don't all you UPS bashers just go quietly into the night. We all know the analysts will do anything to put UPS in a bad light. Of course, they rave about FDX who can't hold a candle to UPS Fred certainly knows how to play Wall obvious and unprofessional.
