    COGNITION IS THE KEY!

gizmo, truth be told he has said 2A on syn004 would start and results would be out in the 2nd quarter. He reiterated same after 2A was initiated. He stated he was in talks with several companies and that a deal would be sealed and announced before the end of Q2. No way to promise pps or valuation, but he has delivered on all deadlines. If he fails to meet the Q2 deadline for 2A results or a Trimesta Deal then you have cause for concern. Fact is he has delivered thus far on all deadlines.

Stongly agree. I do not trade on technicals, but if I were a technician that hammer today is a strong indicator of a bullish reversal. If I was trading on charts I would not be short. The other point made by several on this board is you know we have several PR's coming out any day. Shorts are pulling pins on grenades and then putting them in their back pocket having no idea when a PR is going to hit the wire. A dangerous play indeed!

    Long and Strong SYN!!

  • Syn has simply been following the same path as the IBB index. You can take both charts and they look like identical twins over the last few days. IBB took an early hit today and so did SYN..IBB is getting close to neutral for the day and so is SYN.. The sector simply letting off some steam and a few babies were thrown out with the bath water. All that creates for the longs is another opportunity to add to their core. We are in good shape and the sector has some strong support at the lows of the day. PR's came out on a bad day as the sector was getting hammered. I think had the index been strong on Monday we would have moved up 5-10% on the PR releases.

    Long and Strong SYN.

So since you are out the stock completely and you will be shorting above 2.45 then do us all a favor and stay off this board. Most of your followers ( lol ) as you like to call them totaling 3, have already consumed your Kool Aid and have given up on you. Fact is that many on this board are long because of the entire pipeline not Trimesta. The reality is that your thesis above with regard to a drug in trials for MS is old news. There are already several drugs in the market that slow progression of MS. Acthar and copaxone are two examples and there are others. The word that is void in your thread is REGRESSION. That is what makes Trimesta different the the rest of the drugs in trials and in the market and it is why big pharma wants in on the action.

Nobody cares what you bought your shares at and nobody cares about your short strategy. You are all washed up on this board and you are offically on ignore as of today. The only thing I will keep track of is when we eclipse 2.45 and you take your alledged short position. I will be sure to send your thread to the top of the board by the end of Q2 after several PR's are released. ..Now on to the ignore button.

FDA, the last sentence of your post is the reason why I hold this equity long and strong. The company delivers on deadlines. He has reiterated loud and clear Q2 will deliver us a Trimesta Deal. Although not transparent, there is swagger in the latest release by Riley. He is holding a straight flush and he is about to show his hand. Anyone going all in betting against him will need to leave the table.

    Speculation on a Deal

    by mdr0418 Apr 14, 2015 11:44 AM

The leverage comes in to the equation from the MRI data. If we demonstrate regression then Riley is firmly in control and will not lose maintaining control of the drug. Ideal scenerio is a 50/50 back end deal with a fat milestone up front to extend our runway which will push down the road any talk of a secondary. He must allow his top choices to peek behind the curtain as part of this type of agreement so I speculate this is part of completing a deal.

What we do know is we will find out before the end of June, although I think it will be announced no later then the end of May. What I find a little strange is the share price has not priced in a deal that will be announced any day. Riley is not going to sign anything that does not benefit the shareholder and his stock options. We are going higher in Q2!!

I was watching L2 and did see a few very small trades. So now you are out 50 shares and will hold the other 50 as your core? LOL Your now a genuine joke on this board. Put your last 50 shares up for 3.00 and I will buy it so you can take your family out to Burger King for dinner.

Hey, I thought you said I bashed in your skull. You should lay down and get some rest.

  • First of all I doubt many care on this board when you buy or sell as retail investors. You lost me as a reader when you suggested that there will be no good news until the shareholder meeting. Have you ever attended a shareholder meeting? That is never a time when a company releases PR's..It's about voting on 3 to 4 things including extending board member terms. It's a very dry 45 minutes and if you decide to attend you can introduce yourself to management afterward and then you drive home.

TA this stock all you want and good luck with predicting the future based on the past. News can hit any day so even if I were to trade with a percentage of your portfolio I would be a skeptic during Q2 if I could get back in with those shares at a much lower pps based on upcoming news events. My bet is there will be more PR's and a Trimesta announcement prior to the sharehoders meeting.

It may work out for you and we all make choices, but trading during Q2 by taking profits helping to get in at lower levels is a questionable call. MACD is signaling a strong buy on the crossover and RSI is still well within the channel..Good luck with that call! Trying to predict the future based on the past versus using key indicators is a slippery slope. That is why very few horse handicapping make a living at the track.

    Sentiment: Strong Buy

  • The timing on the recent PR in mid April which reiterates a Q2 partnership with Trimesta indicates to me that we already have a deal and now the attorney's are working out the details before we get a formal announcement. There is absolutely nothing to be gained and a lot to lose from a shareholder confidence perspective by coming out and then not delivering on those promises.. I doubt very much that Mr. Riley would have orchestrated this release without already shaking the hand of his new partner.

I also predict that this news will be the catalyst that brings this stock to a proper valuation in short order along with getting more attention from institutional investors. If I was a short, I would abort !!

    Long and Strong SYN!

Not sure how long you have been following this equity, but a Trimesta deal is in the works and they are now dealing with two companies on CDA's. The CEO has already stated that a deal should be inked prior to the end of Q2...They have enough cash to take them beyond Q2 so my feeling is we will get the Trimesta deal prior to the need for a secondary. I also believe it will be a very favorable deal for shareholders that could delay a secondary requirement. There are several ways a deal can go down. (1) SYN sells the entire Trimesta enterprise for a large chunk of cash to fund the remainder of their pipeline. (2) SYN partners a 50./50 equity deal along with a front end milestone payment, partner also funds phase 3 (3) SYN goes heavy on the cash up front and gets a royalty agreement on revenues of say 15% partner funds phase 3.

If SYN can get IBSC and C-DIFF through phase 3 your entry point will be forgotten as this stock will have a market cap well north of 2 billion..

  • mdr0418 mdr0418 Mar 31, 2015 12:57 PM Flag

The SYN story has not changed. Let the weak hands off the train and we will bring on the stronger longs who understand what we are holding. The pipeline deserves at least a 400mm market cap so anything down here is well below fair value.

    What are your short-term expectations?

    by wallstreetsurveillance Mar 30, 2015 10:17 AM
    mdr0418 mdr0418 Mar 30, 2015 11:55 AM Flag

I think Q2 will be the best quarter of the year from a shareholder perspective. 2A results and a Trimesta deal that I believe will be done prior to the annual shareholder meeting in May. IBSC getting ready to get out of the gate and any day we should get some news as to who will fund the whooping cough indication. All of this in Q2 so my short term expectations by the end of June is a double of our current market cap. 5.00 pps by June 30th...

Agree and disagree. This was anticipated, but it does add to the companies credibility of meeting the timing of their milestones. When they say they will do something they back it up...

    Sentiment: Strong Buy

  • Problem for most on this board is you all immediately assume it will be in May and all in stock..Trimesta has the potential of being completely spun off for cash to big pharma. Another scenerio is we go front end loaded with a big up front cash payment and take royalties on the back end. Yes, at some point we will require 150mm to get C-Diff and IBSC through phase 3 but it can come in a variety of ways and it will be done to maximize shareholder value. Allowing for more shares is a prudent move by the company, but it is just one option and could be used in combination with a Trimesta deal.

    Sentiment: Strong Buy

If we were a fortune 500 company that would be a fairly straight forward task as their black out periods are predictable based on their quarterly earning calls. Riley is essentially locked out of buying in the open market since he is in active discussions with Trimesta along with multiple other upcoming PR's with the remainder of our pipleline. His window is essentially closed. Ballentine did put his toes in the water one time for 10k shares, but I believe at this time he would be deeply involved in the financial end of any partnership discussions therefore he would be locked out as well per SEC rules.
