You may be right. I hope so. Regardless, the logic for an upfront bonus, or even the thought of any kind of bonus paid by a company in genuine financial straits, seem obvious to me: they don't expect the company in present form to be around much longer. If not being around due to b/o, assurances for the money could have been given via some other arrangement.

    Sentiment: Hold

  • insult to shareholders. Seems the only reason for such terms is these people are believing the company won't be solvent for the next 2/3 years and they're taking the money while it's 'getable'...If they anticipated a b/o, a simple clause in contract would do.......This really burns me up!

Of course it was!. Heck, coal usage worldwide has increased just about every year for the past 10. This bs about the coal companies going out of business is just that, BS! ANR controlling costs and producing cheaper and I believe they're in a pretty good position to take advantage of the mood change that's bound to happen with new leadership in DC.. Just bought and looking to buy more. So, suits me if the shorts want to bring it on down a little more. btw...looking for 30$ increase in MET before 2015 over,

  • and it does have a lot going for it. Frankly, I think they have all the ingredients needed for making the 'bigtime'
Wouldn't be surprised at a $15 to $18 handle pretty soon, easily.
