I posted a note in here last week stating that, wouldn't it better for ATT to acquires Dish rather than DTV? since Dish has some spectrum that DTV does not have and ATT would need even pay less for Dish than paying for DTV? But my post was mysteriously deleted.
Furthermore if you think about it; with $40B that (it has been said) att is going to buy DTV, it can buy both Dish and LS. of course it all depends on the ATT long term business plans and whether; 1- ATT have a need for Dish's spectrum. 2-It has a need for the LS's broadband network. 3- regulatory hurdles and ...
I really think the news will break out by the 26th. Dish is going to hit $80 and DTV drops to $60.
What would be the outcome for us, I don't know, but I feel it would be the best that could happen to us.

Isn't it better deal for T to offer that $40B for dish rather than DTV? maybe it is their original intend, time will tell.
Dish has lots of spectrum than DTV has not.
But it may have some good outcome for us if T goes after dish after all.
