Tommie, if you like midstream, look at AZUR. My analysis shows we could be in for a great ride after, the Q4 results. They are doing some financial restructuring, and I am sure they will announce the reinstatement of the dividend at a reasonable level, say 10c per quarter.
My take away points are that John does not expect the share to recover to the $20 level this year. As the interviewer said it is a defensive hold, which is my perspective during these turbulent times. I do however see upside from current price levels.
To add , John put the companies position into perspective, and my take away points, are that it is a long term defensive hold, and that John does not expect the share to recover to $20 level this year.
Any analyst ignores goodwill as an asset for valuation purposes. It is prudent for the company to write it off at the first opportunity. The opportunity has presented itself to write down acquisitions , which are over priced in todays market. A non event.
I will be increasing my position in AZUR today. This is a bargain, and it makes complete sense for the CEO to state that the reassessment of the div will be a "once and done". It has excellent cash flow, and the dividend was too high in the new normal situation. I am convinced the dividend will be reinstated at a lower level, to achieve fiscal prudence.
Sentiment: Strong Buy
He did. Guess you unable to comprehend . Seek assistance from your children.
Results OK under the circumstances of the oil industry. 2016 looks flat on 2015. Div may have to be cut later in 2016, but fortunately , very little capex for next year.
Good buy at that price. If you are going to react like this, to such a small price change, you wont live very long.
Sentiment: Strong Buy
I see no reason not to increase the dividend. My calculation for 2016 , is surplus cash of over $30m, after paying interest, dividends, and the $7.7m debt installment. This calculation takes into account the loss of revenue of the 2 ships scrapped and the new one purchased. GSL is my largest value holding.
Raul, I to am underwater by 25%. I still regard USAC as a hold, due to fairly secure div. Even if CHK, go for chapter 11, oil will still flow through the pipelines , and there should be little effect on USAC's income .I am not sure of their exposure to CHK but will check.
I tried my best to increase volumes by buying another 10K. Obviously my purchase did not move the share in the right direction :)
GSL is in the container business, which is under pressure. Best to get the debt ratios right, for the future. BTW, common yield will be 27%, when new div of 50c p.a. is announced with earnings in the first week of March.
