    thanks c_Imcclure
Yes I am able to buy into the fund. I am buying into this bond fund. Hopefully I am getting In at a low NAV, but my primary interest is for the monthly dividend.
    Thanks

thanks pjjnjrj, I have decided to move some of my IRA equity money into this BOND fund as well. I like T ROWE very much and have done very well with their equity funds over the past 15 years.
    Thanks and good luck.

thanks for the reply. Yes I have placed some of my retirement money into this bond fund. Historically I have been about 90% equities. I am trying to get closer to 70 % equities and 30% bonds or a 60 / 40. I am doing this over time and trying to be diligent about which bond funds to buy into. I am moving some money into, PRCIX, PRHYX, PBDIX, PRFRX, trying to diversify my BOND portfolio.

    Sentiment: Buy

  • for those of you who are really into this fund are you buying at this level. Would you recommend NEW money for this fund now. I am looking for future cash flow from several T ROWE BOND funds. I want to begin collecting monthly dividends in 2 years. Is this a good entry point?

    Sentiment: Buy

  • Looking for those who understand BONDs / BOND funds to help me understand if this is a good time to own this BOND fund ( PRCIX ). I am pretty heavy into equities around 70% + and now looking to diversify into some BOND Funds with T ROWE PRICE. I like the idea of a monthly dividend from some of the T ROWE BOND funds and using that money to supplement my cost of living and let my equities just grow. Please let me know your thoughts about this fund
    Thanks

  • Looking for those who understand BONDs / BOND funds to help me understand if this is a good time to own this BOND fund ( PRHYX ). I am pretty heavy into equities around 70% and now looking to diversify into some BOND Funds with T ROWE PRICE. I like the idea of a monthly dividend from some of the T ROWE BOND funds. Please let me know your thoughts about this fund

Can ETP sustain the current dividend if OIL stays at its current level for the next 18 months?

    Sentiment: Hold

  • I am curious if anyone utilizes the RPBAX Balanced fund to achieve some of their BOND allocation / diversification. I currently have several T Rowe Bond Funds PRCIX, PREMX and PRHYX along with several T Row Stock funds. I am thinking of moving a significant amount from my stock and bond funds into the balanced fund. Looking for your thoughts.
    Thanks

    Sentiment: Buy

  • Looking for some general guidance regarding this fund. With the FED raising .25 and forecasting to raise a point in 2016 .25 per quarter of 2016 Can someone please explain what that will do to the dividend that is paid out monthly on this fund. Will the divi increase, decrease or stay about the same. I am looking for a good fund that will pay a monthly dividend for a long time. I am not to concerned about the nav price as I plan to re-invest the dividends and eventually collect on the dividend and pass along the shares to my beneficiaries.

Or would you suggest another Bond fund to purchase that pays a monthly dividend?

    Thanks
    Jim

    Sentiment: Buy

  • With the FED ready to raise rates by .25% in December can someone please explain how that will affect this fund for 2016. Will we see the monthly dividend be lower in 2016, same or go up? Also how with the rate hike affect the Nav price will it go down immediately or just act as if no rate was hiked?

Also I am retired and am looking for a stable income producing TRow Price fund that will pay a reasonable monthly dividend at low risk to my capital.

    Thanks

    Sentiment: Buy
