YOU WILL get a spliiting headgut n' butt ache. Wait til the macro market takes it's next dive... (in past happened around 120 points. 120 happened last month or so... No split then... so, NObody knows, yet...

  • the story's on the main CVX page. seems to me that's a positive for Chevron's defense, and a kick in the beehind of those money-scroungers down there in Ecuador and in corrupt american attorney-land. This story, and the fact that it should help disprove the Ecuadorian verdict for $17 billion, should be enough in and of itself to get CVX's stock moving UP ! - A billion saved is a billion earned....

OLDTIMER: Thank Ye for that information. I'm gonna have to look up that legal term "escheated."
BUT what i was wondering in terms of COLLECTOR / "Rarety"- value for the certificate... i guess i can look around for Old stock certificate sites. (prob. peein' in the wind with IVAX certificates, because they're not that old. but then again, maybe people just didn't keep that many.
    Thanks Again.

idpatton: i guess you may have a point there.... i thought VLO was already known for using highly sulphured oild and removing it; and good enough at it that they could buy the cheaper oil... (wrong chemical?) anyway, i've sat out the drop for two days now, and figure it's too late to bail out now.... i paid more than 40 per. good luck to all.

  • where are we americans going to buy our wholesale gasoline, from the Chinese?
VLO makes more money in the long run, with customers hurting slightly, pennies....

    med for pecker pain: "AZO."...

  • anyone know whether the old IVAX Pharmaceutical company shares are worth anything on any Collectors' certificate market ? (TEVA took over Ivax)... i got an old certificate from someone else... am thinking probably not worth much, b/c ivax was a pretty popular company. Anyone ??

OK, as thought....thanks for the replies...( and as you know ICE has been going up pretty steeply as of late).
so, we NUX holders may just do alright. (only thing i'm gonna miss is that nice NYX dividend)...

  • meteorbyte by meteorbyte Mar 20, 2013 8:27 PM Flag

let me get this straight, the higher the price of ICE goes,
the more shares NYX holders receive, right?
    e.g. 2000 sh NYX becomes 500 shares ICE (approx 1/4th ) if ICE reaches $200 p/share?
if share price of ICE stays around $160, then ICE share amount is around $400 (approx 1/4) ....
    is this about right, anyone?

  • can anyone tell me why CVS would have customers sign a new pre-printed, electronic statement prior to being sold a prescription (any prescrpition) in Florida; a statement which basically reads that CVS may obtain "ANY MEDICAL RECORDS" of a purchaser? to me it is an overly broad statement which gives CVS the option to obtain any medical record of mine. (This has nothing to do with the new crackdown in florida on prescriptions for narcotics, etc as for those prescriptions one already has to show proof of ID now). I think it is an overly intrusive statement, and enough to cause me to cease my client relationship with CVS.
However, i do hope some CVS company-management type does read this note, and possibly shed some light on what is going on here. Why on earth should a pharmacy be allowed to "OBTAIUN ANY MEDICAL RECORD" regardiung a purchaser? I believe the range of American companies is overstepping its bounds in this case. IF it IS the state of Florida trying to cut down on pain-pill over purchasing, then i believe there are more limited ways to do that rather than to infringe on the medical privacy rights of private citizens.
