wilder, an interesting short CME activity (13 minutes): "new horizons in cancer immunotherapy: management of Metastatic RCC", in medscape education. just out today.
Obviously Cabo is the only reason why you are still here. With all the knowledge and background you have, I can not imagine that you will be wrong twice on both COMET and METEOR trials. If not because of crossover in COMET-1 steroid arm, with Cabo's 10.5 months OS we are now already in 12-15 range.
I do remember recent event that you short at 2.6 and cover at 3.25, and then pps went down to 3.10 after you cover and before recent run up to 3.9. Isn't it funny? I love to see many shorts pop up, That means EXEL is ready for next run.
stocklooking, I am sure you know ECOG and most likely you are a member also. Cabo/Traceva trial was run by ECOG but not Roche or EXEL tell you something. If I were MMM, I will stick with Coba mRCC, then HCC plus Cobi/melanoma. With these, PPS can easily back to 8 or more.
"I recall when the FDA finally approved Cabo for MTC. The pps actually dropped, and did so significantly."
yes, I do remember that drop, particularly one closet short (of course not you) came out and shouted " cabo is so toxic, toxic, toxic and patients died because of GI bleeding". Smart investors do look beyond MTC and focus on mCRPC with bone effects at that time,
It is still a puzzle to me. I really have no explanation why Roche did not put hands on Tarceva/Cabo lung cancer trial. Instead ECOG takes the lead! You would imagine that with Tarceva's 1B world-wide market sale and Roche shows no sign of enthusiansm on Tarceva/Coba, Do I miss something here? any thoughts?
The way that EXEL let Roche run the Cobi show (recent open position for Cobi trials) and others makes me suspicious that MMM wants to sell the company soon or later. If so why would they raise cash? for what?
we will find out this weekend if it is related to an offer. I am also expecting short squeeze right at close, it may pop to 3.7.
Isn't Cobi still EXEL asset? Now Genentech/Roche takes over and run the show like their own baby. I am betting EXEL will vanish sooner than anyone can imagine!
