  • I called Keryx on Friday and spoke with the receptionist regarding the first AP article and explaining how incorrect it was and asked to speak with Investor relations then, but Amy was getting on a plane. When I called today the receptionist actually remembered me. She said, "oh yes, you called on Friday" and I told her that I was the first person to clarify to the AP lawyer Brian Barrett all of the inaccuracies in the article by Matt Perrone, which was subsequently corrected, albeit without pointing out significantly exactly what was corrected, and after significant damage had been done. She told me there was no one I could speak with, but after I told her about all of the legwork I did on Friday she transferred me to Amy. I asked her WHY there have been no PR's affirming the company's positive stance on Zerenex and refuting all of the misconceptions regarding the label "precaution". She said that generally just makes things worse, and she was aware of ALL of the negative articles, FBR statement, and the fact that NOTHING positive has been published. She did tell me that Ron will have much more prepared than his usual conference presentation tomorrow and it will be very upbeat and positive, along with providing clarification on the company's position post approval. I said the champagne must have tasted pretty sour with all of the misconception. misleading, misunderstandings, and manipulation. Apparently KERX was notified a few weeks ago about the name and hoped to have a new name approved by the approval, but that is still being determined. She did say to "hang in there" and was very receptive to all of the points I was making, including the lack of any positive press or articles on virtually all web outlets including Yahoo, Barron's, the New York Times, and AP. Expect a powerful presentation tomorrow by Ron and the team and I hope it perks the stock up a bit.

  • I told him that it has been very frustrating as a shareholder to watch the stock price dropping over the past couple of months with absolutely NO NEWS from the company-----NOTHING! I brought up the .6 psoriasis data that has been promised at a "future medical conference" for some time and asked if the company had any intention of putting out a PR with the data for the shareholders and the market while still presenting at a future conference. What he told me was that before they release the data they want it peer-reviewed and ready for publishing simultaneously to give the data the proper impact and relevance because simply releasing a set of statistics is not what the company wants to do. He also said that the company has been meeting with the myositis association and, in fact, had a meeting with them last week and 2 weeks ago. I asked why there have been no PR's regarding those meetings and he said because there was no specific presentation, and the company will only report when there has been a specific presentation and agenda that can be reported. He said that at the next quarterly report there will be many updates on enrollment in trials and in the early data from Waldenstrom's. He told me that 2015 will be a "very important year" for IDRA with many things happening----and for what it's worth---even though he can't really give out any details or specifics on any news he indicated that everything was encouraging(my word which he agreed with). He did say that the lines of communication will be opening up in the next couple of weeks, but when I pushed him to say whether we could expect any PR's this month or would have to wait until November----he stated he could not say. He said they are "growing a lot of fruit" on the trees regarding ALL of the drugs and trials they will be conducting. I'm running out of space---but I was encouraged and am looking more brightly toward the future with IDRA-----the news will come. NOW is the time to add.

  • The key and the most important story today IS the approval, and not the so-called "warning". What KERX needed, and what all longs needed was for Zerenex to be approved and for it to become available commercially. That is going to come to fruition. The "warning" is actually a prescribing guideline and spotlights one of the reasons Zerenex is better than the competition----it eliminates the need for IV iron. It will have no bearing on how or for whom it is prescribed--just in the way it is presented-- and changes absolutely nothing regarding the use or benefits of Zerenex vs the standard treatments available now. And it will NOT deter doctors from prescribing it knowing that the iron benefit reduces the need for a risky and costly IV. Being a doctor myself(which I haven't stated in a while) and being able to write prescriptions for topical as well as oral medications I can tell you that a combination medication is generally perceived as a better choice than multiple single action meds. I can see many nephrologists telling their patients, "There is a new drug that just became available to treat your hyperphosphatemia. It's just a simple pill that you take with your meals 3 times a day and you don't even have to chew it, but in addition to reducing your phosphate levels it's also going to address your iron and anemia issues so we may be able to reduce or even eliminate those IV iron treatments you've been needing to keep your iron levels up. I will just need to check your iron levels a few times in the first few weeks of treatment to make sure they are where we want them. How does that sound?" What patient and what doctor wouldn't want to try that? While it was not a very good day for KERX stock today---Keryx the company and KERX the stock both have great futures ahead of them-----and for us. Good night.

Have ANY analysts lowered their PT since the approval? I don't think so---and Roth RAISED their target to $32 from $30. Everything going on here is nothing more than scare tactics to separate you from your shares before they start going up again. Only ONE firm---FBR----that didn't even have an opinion on KERX until 2 weeks before approval and came out with a BOGUS report saying that there was a likelihood that ferric citrate wouldn't be approved(which proved to be VERY FALSE) had a $16 PT which was the lowest by far-----but somehow, THEY were the firm quoted in the AP article! Does that ring of BALONEY or what??

  • and really serve to pique the interest and anticipation of Zerenex becoming available for their practices and their patients so they can begin improving their health and quality of their lives as soon as possible. The Salesforce will be much better equipped for a robust launch now that the trial results and associated significance of the data is documented in such a prestigious publication. Not only will it be a great summer, but that should lead into a tremendous autumn thanks to Zerenex becoming available--and---the end of the P3 CKD trial. Stay tuned folks--it's only going to get better for KERX.

    Sentiment: Strong Buy

  • Every long, like me, knows there is absolutely no reason why the FDA should not approve zerenex. It's not like we are waiting for trial results to be released which could make or break a stock(and many of you were here for that event with peri---fortunately I did not get on board until after that). We KNOW how successful and how overwhelmingly positive ALL of the trial results were----surpassing both primary and secondary goals apparently with ease. And we know how safe and well tolerated zerenex is. We know how well patients on zerenex for over a year--and up to 2-- have done and we know there are no toxicity issues. We know that zerenex reduces or eliminates the need for IV iron and ESA's--------SAFELY. We know that the identical compound was approved in Japan back in January and has had very good early sales figures. Everything about zerenex is positive! And so should the attitudes be toward approval. There are definitely more demons on the MB than at any other time, which hints at the desperation of the shorts to bring the price down. But all they post is idiocy, brief negative statements, and baseless garbage. The market will know when to bring the price of KERX back up, and it will. I still think we'll see $18 before approval and over $20 upon approval. Approval IS NOT "baked in" to the price----not here it isn't, especially after that silly FBR piece. Wait until everyone sees what happens with this stock when the shorts really try to cover and the volume explodes to 20 million shares traded or more. Approval is coming-----and it will be worth the wait------don't let the board trolls break your spirit or shake your confidence.

That will be the majority attitude among educated and compassionate doctors. WE know what is best for our patients, and when better is better, and when a "warning" is NOT a warning.

  • when they published it following the peer review process. Nothing but positives coming out of the study with patients on Zerenex for up to 2 years. Nephrologists are chomping at the bit for something better than what has been available for years. With the ability to reduce or eliminate costly and risk-increasing IV iron and ESA use AND reduce harmful phosphate levels WITHOUT TOXICITY issues, Zerenex has shown through all phases of the development process that it IS that drug. There will be NO delay here. The FDA issued the PR delaying the PDUFA by 90 days on May 22---16 days before the PDUFA date. We are now just 10 days---and only 5 trading days from the PDUFA of Sept. 7th. If there were going to be ANY further delays or notifications they would have occurred already. My guess is that KERX and the FDA are conferring regarding the labeling and exactly what KERX can include in the indications as far as the iron and hemoglobin factors are concerned. Whether approval comes later today, tomorrow, or some time next week---it is coming, and all of the shorts had better be prepared for on of the biggest losses of their lives if they don't cover---no matter how well "hedged" they think they are. Definitely NOT a timer to sell or trade, and NOT a time to give your shares away when in a few days they could be 10-40% higher. $20-$22 minimum after approval-----buyout more likely---and epic short-squeeze.

Being a doctor able to Rx topical as well as oral medications I can tell you that a combination medication is generally perceived as a better choice than multiple single action meds. Many times I will prescribe a 4th generation antibiotic rather than a much less costly "generic" or third generation---because it WORKS BETTER. Or I will Rx Azasite(an antibiotic with antiinflammatory capabilities)instead of an older and cheaper antibiotic/steroid drop-to eliminate the need for the riskier steroid-and insurance covers it. I can see many nephrologists telling their patients, "There is a new drug that just became available to treat your HPP. • about the Keryx article. I clarified the issue for him and told him that because of the incorrect timeline and assumption regarding the lower trading this morning and Matt Perrone's assertion that it was due to the warning label, it potentially cost investors millions of dollars by stating that the price drop in the morning was caused by the announcement of a warning label for Zerenex, but that hadn't been made public yet, and neither had the approval, so that could not have been the cause of the price dip this morning. But due to the wording of the article it put much more emphasis on the warning as the cause and effect of the drop causing that to be amplified when the stock began trading again this afternoon. He said he will look into it---sounded very sincere, and I told him that a class-action suit was possible due to the losses incurred as a direct result of the article and it's erroneous statements.

ice, ice, ice.....insurers will be jumping at the opportunity to have zerenex on their formulary for dialysis patients. Whether a generic binder is available or not the cost savings to the insurer due to less or NO IV iron and ESA's will save them hundreds if not thousands PER PATIENT PER YEAR! Now---if you were running the insurance company would you want to pay a little less for the binder but a hell of a lot more for the IV iron and erythropoietin, or SAVE MONEY by covering a more expensive binder but SAVING BIG on the other meds? Why don't you go back and read the abstract and study on how much zerenex will actually save the healthcare system before you go sticking your big foot in your mouth again.

  • by replying to all of the ignorant, bashing, brainless, insulting, worthless, asinine, rude, enducated, lying and deceptive pieces of garbage on this MB and at least FOR THE NEXT MONTH I will not respond to them---either directly or indirectly. The problem is, that when I don't post or respond then they post that I have left the board and abandoned the stock. That will not be true and I will keep posting positively, as is warranted. The stock will return in price, the RX numbers and sales from Japan will increase dramatically, the sentiment will begin to turn, and the launch of ferric citrate following it's MONUMENTAL APPROVAL with a "precaution" that insults the doctor's intelligence that will be prescribing it----will be surprisingly strong. Now---if anyone else cares to respond to the cowardly cockroaches---BE MY GUEST. GO KERX, GO ACAD, GO IDRA, and GO ISIS.

  • following ischemia. Who would have though that their technology can now take them in a completely different direction----and a very promising one worth BILLIONS or MORE down the road. Still a long way to go to develop into a finished medical product, but the science is there, and the VALUE, whether to IDRA or another interested party, is going to be very high. More goo news showing that this ridiculous low price is not justified---and won't last much longer.

  • into the low $20's. Zerenex approval announcement is coming this week and ALL of the freaks, trolls, cretins, icemen, etc. will be coming out and trying to shake your confidence. Zerenex is as close to an approval lock as possible-----safety, efficacy, trial data, and same compound and manufacturer already approved and in use in Japan. No short or basher can EVER give a valid reason or concern as to why zerenex would not be approved----so just laugh at them-----and try not to respond. Whether later today, tomorrow, or later this week, KERX will be $20-$23 within a few days.

He also stated that there will be a few "medical congresses" coming up as well as investor presentations, THIS YEAR--but he said they would not be announced until they were closer in time. What I really took away was that the company, as we all know, has a LOT of coals in the fire, and 2015 is going to be the year when the fire really starts going. Jim seemed very sympathetic to our frustration with no communication and a sinking stock price, but the communication lines will be opening and the team the company has assembled, as well as the science they are working on is TOP NOTCH. Patience really is a virtue(that I wish I possessed MUCH more of), but with this company, at this stage in development you really do have to wait to be rewarded, and they can not release any information or data until it is appropriately confirmed and reviewed, or that could be misinterpreted by the industry and the market----but the information and communication will be coming.

  • by the time Zerenex is approved. And IF they are not surpassed BY the approval--which could occur any day---then the price will surpass the old high on the day of approval and still hit the low $20's upon approval with considerable short-covering and relief buying. 30% upside in the next 3 to 6 weeks. Where are you going to find an opportunity like this anywhere else? Today was just a taste. Expect a few more days like this leading into the 20-50% POP on the day of approval. That's right---I think the stock could rise as much---OR MORE---than 50% on the day of approval. THIS IS A MAJOR DEVELOPMENT that IS NOT "baked" into the price. It wasn't baked into the price when the stock was in the $17's and it certainly isn't in the price here. Longs and buyers will take over the destiny of this stock until the shorts capitulate and cover and WE all celebrate.

is there even a "warning" or is it just listed as a "precaution" or "adverse effect"? EVERY nephrologist will love the opportunity to remove AT LEAST one IV infusion-----and likely TWO! NO OTHER drug like it.
