Yawn, Obama beat you twice. Your hared and racism is obvious. Sorry but you folks lose in November. You are OLD angry white guys #$%$ off because you have lost and lost, if not the Confederate flag, it is gay marriage, gay rights, transgender issues, When you lose in November then what? Guuna revolt and take to the streets with your guns? Make me laugh. You old guys can riot too long before you have to pee or take a nap. Hatting your way to power never works. Let's make Amerika....white and mostly male run again...is your slogan. .

The transcript was buried in an unmarked grave. Buy when others have lost hope. Buy when people say you are crazy. Buy when there is blood in the streets. Opportunities do not come gifted wrapped they come in storms. BUY

    Sentiment: Buy

  • Don't get too excited today. SAN up sharply with the rest of the market. Volume not high. It is better than the daily bleed, but the waters are not calm for smooth sailing for SAN.

What you say is true....they are well run, they are diversified and have been around a long time as a bank, through wars and Franco and great World Cup victories. But don't think any of these maters in the future. The past does not look like the future. There is always room for failure. I think SAN is a long term hold as you say. Short term you are going to be not happy.

All factors are not created equal. For an international bank it is all about the economy and is the case in Europe it is the EU and what the bureaucrats at the central bank are doing, and they are cutting rates to prop up the banks and try to stimulate the economy. So far the results have been disappointing. The economy of Spain itself is improving but when I was in Spain I found, I will be blasted in saying this, that the work ethic of the average Spaniard is roll into work at 10 a,m, go to lunch for two hours at noon and quite at five..God love Spain but unless you poor and struggling the average business and government worker is just "going through the motions" of working. I can't imagine what the country's productivity is. Italy is worse. Both countries have great food and beautiful women to be fair.
SAN has presence in Brazil and that country slips into chaos. The world economies are all struggling and believe it not the USA is doing the best. China? One is always suspicious of numbers out of the commies in Beijing. The true believers here bash me at every turn, but I have been right. Notice not one dares to come and post how this company is all sweetness and light. The bottom line slow going for SAN. New lows are sight. At best SAN goes sideways the rest of the year.

$70 is highly improbable with the glut, the economic tailwinds and such. $55 seems tops

  • A Metroscopia poll for El País published on Sunday suggested both the furthest right and furthest left options available to Spanish voters have received a boost following the decision by Podemos and United Left to present a joint list at the general election on June 26.
The paper's editorial criticised the results as "irresponsible" polarisation.
Mariano Rajoy's Popular Party increased its estimated share of the vote to 29.9%, rising to a post-election high following the low in February at 24%. At the last election, the PP won 28.7% of the vote.
Unidos Podemos ("United We Can"), the new Podemos-United Left list, was scored at 23.2% in its first joint showing, three full points clear of the Spanish Socialist Party (PSOE) on 20.2%.
    Ciudadanos fell further to 15.5%.
The two parties who made the only attempt to appoint a new Prime Minister during the spring—the PSOE and Ciudadanos—have both been trending downwards as the PP rises.
Sunday's Metroscopia joins El Español's forecast in predicting that Unidos Podemos will overtake the PSOE to become the leading party on the Spanish left.

  • SAN, the bank, is run by smart women, but the economics of the EU and Spain are the problem, hence the PPS falls. You bashers just bash when I post and point out what is coming and generally I have been right. I am not smarter than any here, I just read more and can ascertain trends. There are 9 miles of bad road ahead for SAN and the EU banks. If you want a bad bank look at DB. It makes SAN look great. Luck to all.

Cruz, the Canadian, is gone, we got rid of one of the GOP wackos. The Donald will fall next. The armies of light and progressive ideas march forward to victory.

...F#$% spammers here need to go. I report them as fast as I can. Please do the same. You know, the posts directing you to a web site for financial advice.

If the Brits vote to leave that will be a down day for SAN and the market. I do not think they will vote to leave, but it could happen. Polls are leaning toward not leaving. If the PPS crashes with high volume to under 52 week low then you buy. I honestly don;t know what would happen to SAN the bank. I would guess minimal damage. Brazil, a favorite of SAN is a basket case. They are related. The national football team was eliminated in the Copa Cup. This is just more sorry to Brazil. They are down for the count. SAN has a piece of that sorrow. Brazil weighs on the bottom line in a small way.

  • It has traded this way for weeks. Elections are still a X factor. There doesn't seem to be a push ny far right or left parties. EU banks are still in limbo, SAN trades sideways as it has.

Buckle up? The PPS rises 2% and you guys claim victory. You are a lot like Rumpf supports thinking they have already won without working for it. Up today.

What we need here is a panic, a good old fashioned capitulation..I say the future for SAN is sideways down. New lows? Sure, possible. There are a lot of women in this bank. They are more honest than the guys. The bank makes it in the long run, it is just a question of how cheap the buyer is..

I rarely drink tequila.SAN did just OK today. There are still way too many things against it for the stock to rise. Elections are in June and the EU is still easing. How is your boy Trump doing today? Please nominate this guy. You poor conservatives are going to get creamed in November. Trump CANNOT win without the women's vote nor the Latino vote nor the youth vote-----Trump has none of them, but he does have the hate and racist vote of the old angry white people..
