Why in 2010-2012 the stock was mainly $4-12 and then the run-up. What changed? Starting in early 2012?
Insiders bought MCP at $10 over a year ago and now it is under $1.
WLT insiders bought at $70-80/share about 3 years ago. Then they bought again at $16-19 range a year ago
and now the stock is $1.70.
Then you know it will fall further. This is going to be a disaster with all the posts saying this the bottom.
That was when the CFO started to fake and push the numbers.
Right, and that is why they are withdrawing their 2015 estimates. That is why the CFO stepped down. What do you expect management to say? Their job is to put lipstick on a pig. Their job is to keep the stock from falling further.
This will plummet further.
CFO leaving is the red red red red flag.
THE WOODLANDS, Texas (AP) -- A surprising third-quarter loss sent shares of Conn's plunging Tuesday as the furniture retailer withdrew its outlook for next year and said that its chief financial officer was stepping down immediately.
Conn's offers financing to customers, some with low incomes and sub-par credit scores, and that segment of the business has taken a turn for the worse.
"Delinquency rates have increased and losses are being realized at a faster pace than originally anticipated," said Chairman and CEO Theodore Wright. "We recorded additional provisions for credit losses this quarter, based on the assumption that we will not realize any improvement in these trends over the next 12 months, despite the underwriting changes and improved collections execution."
You have been CONNED!!!!
well, keep holding....and you will see $15 in two weeks.
Don't listen to people. Don't look a the history of the stock when it was around $10 for many years back in 2012.
Don't think that the CFO helped commit fraud as the stock ran up from $10 in 2012 to $70 in just a year and a half.
no brainer. If you bought it 50% higher why not buy it at 50% discount? Buy and margin all you can and you will be rich!!!! No brainer. buy buy buy buy
Is it the case of US deciding upon the fees to charge solar panels from Taiwan and China? Or, is it the -5.3% crash of the shanghai stock exchange?
God help us with all the downgrades, margin selling and lawsuits in the next 5 -7 days as the market goes into bear territory.
You said JF, the CEO, just bought a boatload of shares. Where do you see this? Can you give a link and show how many share and at what price and what day?
I bet they will cancel the dividend by January when oil drops below $60
