    Some Thoughts

Many people buying into this "Stock" seem to have little understanding on what a share represents. While there are occasional "sales" these are of assets not revenue. There is no P&E for this because there is no profit. The trust generates revenue by leasing the surface of the land it holds and from oil and gas royalty payments from having a mineral interest on some land it owns and others it only holds the mineral rights to.
If you are wanting to catch the ups and downs on a light float stock thinking you are investing in a business, then be my guest to your delusions.
TPL holds a unique place in Texas and investing history. And over a lifetime holding a piece of it should be profitable. But that comes from the self liquidating process the trustees are required to follow. Not on the gyrations of the stock market.
I see the trust shares being over $1,000 each in the future. Hopefully my great granddaughter will hold the last shares,
