Director GILLIAM JEFFREY STUART bought 5000 shares at 2.7005. Hopefully more insider buys will follow.
There has been little to no retail interest in the stock for two years now. We're a good headline away from that changing I believe though. I'm not to keen on Prillaman canceling the CC. It was a nice touch to state that they'll take investor calls. Sucks that the current quarter may suffer due to further production/shipping/whatever delays. In the meantime, the best thing for us will be if the company continues to buy back shares.
Four years of MCZ frustration for me, put point taken. And as far as "deep value" goes, the point is to buy them before they become "value" stocks. If you scroll back through the messages here, you'll see my posts from when NAII was under $6. I chose to pass. My mistake. But no worries. There's a new opportunity everyday.
Well...I stand corrected. I was referring to earthquakes of the traditional "binding and release of shifting tectonic plates" variety however. Not a tremor caused by a change in water pressure in some underground reservoir.
Agreed. They've made incremental progress over the last 2 years, but it's always "wait until next quarter, that's when everything is going to start hitting on all cylinders." The hedge fund guys have such a large position here, I suspect they'll cut current management loose if Prillaman is wrong about his current forecast.
You'll be okay grasshopper. Go ahead and sell tomorrow if you need to. You'll likely still get out with a profit. That said, I withheld my votes for Prillaman on the BOD. He is definitely a 2 steps forward 1 step back kind of guy.
Trust me, you're not getting earthquakes from geothermal plants. I was just in Santa Rosa around Christmas. I was also there around May of 2014. Drove around the Geysers area. Also stopped at the geothermal visitor center operated by Calpine. Cool place.
Twas me that mentioned it on the ktcc board several years ago. Definitely a slow burn kinda stock, but as you stated, about as safe as they get in the microcap world. +40% in a couple of years ain't a bad return, but I'm still holding.
I'm so enthralled I want to meet him in person just to see what such genius looks like in real life.
Deep value is a stock price below tangible book. Are you always a db, or do you just play one on the internet? LOL.
Low volume across the board. Anybody have any true "deep value" candidates they're willing to share? I just started DD on ELRC. Currently paying a 50 cent/yr dividend which is unusual for the space. Execs are all up there in age. Looks like a good candidate for a sale.
Well I'm happy to have you both on board! Hopefully we'll get a multi-bagger here. All they have to do is sell a little furniture! :-)
Well that's a plus then. It means somebody else is building or adding to their position at higher prices.
Is that you on the bid at 2.80? Should get earnings within 2 weeks, and the annual meeting is shortly after that. I'm hoping for a share buyback or special divvy announcement soon.
