Lets' not jump to conclusions about CTRV. It's not even in Phase 2, yet...and GILD is king in this space with the expertise and the funds to bring the next blockbuster. Remember, they are working on a therapy for A, B and C. Sure, they could spend a couple hundred million to buy CTRV, and maybe they have been considering it. However, even for JUST a couple hundred million...they should be cautious and not jump the gun like traders are doing today. LOTS of drugs never make it through Phase 2...then there's Phase 3...and then approval. A long process.
Though the news seems pretty good, this has not even gone into Phase 2 trials, yet! LOL. Seriously, folks...there is a long road ahead for this, and GILD is king. The are already working therapy that clears A B and C and have the know-how and resources to bring to bear another block-buster. Have seem these pops a million times in tiny stocks like this...if you can make money, great for you...just don't be left holding the bag when the momentum goes the other direction.
Interesting the last few days...especially today on downdraft in the markets and NGLS keeps chugging along. Interesting. I wonder what's going on behind the scenes.
I definitely share your positive outlook for the long term of NGLS. As for as takeout is concerned, I agree this would be a good fit for some other, larger companies, but I think your target for the price range is too aggressive, at least in the shorter run. In the current market, I wouldn't expect anything much north of $60ish. That said, as things stabilize and NGLS continues to grow, a longer term acquisition target price could get as high as you say. Honestly, the market cap of NGLS currently makes it quite an easy purchase for most larger players.
Sentiment: Strong Buy
I know we're only in the high 3's, but it seems to be stabilizing and trending higher. I added 5000 shares to my position at just above 2 and think that longer term, we'll be ok. LINE has the financial backing to survive this crazy time and will be one of the survivors, IMHO. I'll trade this from time to time, but will continue to hold a position for the long term, too. Trading generates a ton of $$ while I wait for thing in the markets to settle a bit.
it doesn't matter what it was 5 years ago...it matter where it is going. If what the CEO is true and there will be a minimum of $2.5 billion in cash flow in 2019, this is going much higher...at least a double from here over the next couple of years.
Disagree. Everything, including LINE overshot to the downside. LINE has plenty of resources to get them through this time. The wild market gyrations in the oil patch, yes, are a result of disrupting on the balance of supply and demand, but those will self-correct...
that's odd...because in order to get the discount, I was told I had to go directly through the company's agent. I hold EPD with three different brokers and all said the same thing.
you're an idiot. you only lock in the loss if you sell. Longer term, EPD is an excellent investment. Add when it's low and reinvest the distributions...build wealth.
longer term, you will make out like a bandit.
