New 52 week low! Congrats to all the stockholders that approved the incentive plan! They've earned it!
Article is from 11/9/2015. It says it'll take a year to build a prototype with free licensing to come shortly thereafter
I specifically asked IR about this & they said there was no specific formula or threshold they have. Basically they said, "we might announce or we might not. It depends on several factors & we decide on the fly." I think Sharp orders aren't announced because they're smaller & there's no license agreement, license & royalty are included in the component price. Whereas, Sony is operating under different circumstances. They announced the two smaller Sony orders & then the large one. IMO they will announce a new, large order from Sony. But I don't think anyone knows for sure.
"So now many investors, both current and future, will look at the company as dead money in 2016 and to check back in in 2017. Sorry you don't like it, but it's the reality of the situation."
Yup. This one is turning out prescient as well.
No, they did not charge him because of political correctness. He was reported as a known terrorist sympathizer, traveled to the middle east, & talked about killing people. This was all known and then ignored because this administration chooses to ignore obvious signs of radical Islamic terrorism for fear of discriminating & being "Islamophobic." Similar warning signs were ignored in the Ft. Hood shooting & in San Bernardino. The administration is willfully turning a blind eye to radical Muslims and Americans are dying because of it. The people running the country are completely delusional with a #$%$ up worldview.
This is not a gun problem or a religion problem. This is a government incompetence & radical Islam problem. This man was interviewed multiple times by the FBI and suspected of terrorist activities. Yet he was not charged and therefore was able to pass a background check to obtain a gun. Law enforcement needs to bring charges against people like this so they won't be able to pass a background check. And secondly, this is a radical Islam problem. They've waged a global war on the West, AKA the "infidels." And the left & our cowardly President, will bend over backwards to avoid confronting the real problem. They will offer excuse after excuse instead of acknowledging Islamic extremism is a huge global problem that needs to wiped off the face of the earth. The President didn't even bring up terrorism today in his address. He's checked out, too busy being a reality TV star, going on a celebrity farewell tour. What a disgrace.
"The product will be launched at the end of July/early August."
Translation: September at the earliest
I'm inclined to agree, geo. I'd think there would be a volume & price bump if we were about to get some press. But we got nada.

Upon further inspection this seems like a whole big nothing-burger. No big news. No big order. Par for the course. Standard operating procedure. And here we will continue to sit. Great job Tokman.
$35M is 2+ years of operating expenses. This move is either really good or really bad. There's no middle ground.
If this isn't to finance a large order, then I am beside myself. This would be the dumbest thing I could imagine. It would be inexplicable.
Gotta agree John. Holding on to free shares doesn't strike me as a huge vote of confidence. It strikes me as a no-brainer. Using their own cash & buying on the open market? That would be a huge vote of confidence.
Not hard to decipher. Only things that will move the stock at this point are increasing revenues in quarterly reports, a new Sony order, or some unexpected announcement. That's it.
