Thanks for your analysis Burn.
I first bought at $4.50 in my brokerage account and wish I had bought a few thousand shares at that price. I bought 4x after that but only in really small chunks with the latest in the low $15 range. I just need to figure out how much more to put in. I am still only about 1,000 shares unfortunately. :/
Read the article under the Headlines section. Just a snipit:
"Let's start with the interest in Opko. It's really centered around Phillip Frost. Todd, take us away.
Todd Campbell: Yeah. Phillip Frost is probably as close to a legendary healthcare entrepreneur as you're going to find."
I am happy with the increase but I am wondering why this isn't up much higher. I would think this kind of news would be attracting much more attention and buyers. :( You see these other biotechs with news like this jumping 10%+.
You can ignore them. I have A LOT of people on ignore. I mostly only see worthwhile posts now. :)
Don't be sorry. I /ignore people all the time that aren't on topic, sound immature or just bash.
btw, from Plymouth proper? I'm live in Plymouth county MA
Then I would have to ask why Netflix, Google, Amazon, Tesla, and other high priced stocks don't split at their high levels?
He's hot and cold on so many stocks. I do think he's a pumper and is as bad as most analysts to try and move stock prices for his own good. I used to like him. He may have good insight on the economy and sectors but I don't trust his individual picks.
It's trying to be a growth stock. No confidence in the future of this company. Was a holder and got out after making some decent cash earlier on.
And it's a complete joke because individuals reading Yahoo posts are not going to move the stock one way or the other.
Not me. I am just sticking with OPK (among several other stocks, funds, etfs, of course). Bought a little more recently. Was averaged in about $7.25, now slightly higher. I will buy some more if it goes under $15.30.
I still have under only 1000 shares total so I am not in as much as some of you folks. It's such a small percentage of my portfolio, but I am expecting good things in the future. :)
Long and patient.
Yep. I just keep putting people on ignore. It makes for less clutter and more sensible discussion. ;) Long.
