I know it hasn't reached $.01 yet. Close. But,...is there any chance at all that this will ever go over $.05? What is the possibility that they get bought out? I think they are competing in the same space as Solar City so I am wondering what their chances are to do really well in this part of the industry.
I bought it at $36.50 in late December. Glad I did. Long term hold for me. This one along with XOM that I bought at $86.50, and recently SDRL at $10.05 just last week. :)
add Tesla to that list of overpriced, hyped, bandwagon stocks. It was a matter of time before that one came crashing down.
I've said all along, the shorts were taking a BIG risk going against Dr. Frost. We are beginning to see things happen.
I started in the $3s but added to my position along the way so I am averaged at $7. :/
True. I've owned both however for a while (VE @ $11/share) and doing very well with them.
It will be interesting once waste treatment, water treatment and water scarcity come to the forefront over the next decade. One of the basic necessities of life and it is getting harder to come by with climate change and world population growth. I wasn't sure how to play it so I bought a chunk of the PIO etf a while ago to see how that plays out.
Agreed. That's what I was thinking when I bought at $10.08 last month. Hoping for good things. ::)
I partly agree in that we may have seen close to the bottom of oil. No one knows where the bottom actually is so I took a shot at it a couple weeks ago and bought SDRL at $10.05. I also bought XOM and BP over the last few weeks.
So far, so good. :) I expect volatility for a while and do believe this (and some other oil stocks) will go a lot higher....at some point. When that is, is anyone's guess. Maybe the start of it would be the latter half of this year, but there are many factors that could change things positively or negatively. have to give it a shot though!
Things I don't agree with but hope I am wrong: 1) we've seen the bottom, 2) $150/barrel oil
I am one of those sad BABA buyers, but I didn't buy it because of anything Cramer said. Still... :(
Long OPK. Been in for years.
There is definitely at least some luck in picking stocks. In at $10.05. I am Long and Patient on this though and will buy more on any bigger dips because I do think that, some time down the road, this will be back to the $20s - $30s.
I am curious why you think that. I thought Dr Frost leaving Teva left it more open for that to happen to remove any conflict of interest.
Agreed and share the same sentiments about this stock and oil. If you are Long, you will do well, just need patience. If you are short, well, you take a lot more risk than being long and may get rewarded for that too. It will be volatile for a bit.
I bought at $10.05 and plan on buying on any bigger dips, otherwise, sitting tight. I also bought XOM and BP over the past month and believe those will do well too. :)
It will....at some point and much higher....eventually.
I am not so stuck on time frames as I am Long on this stock. It will all come back around and oil prices will climb. Maybe above $60 some day? Maybe not.
THAT I do not doubt and why I bought SDRL @ $10.08 and bought BP and XOM almost 5% lower in the past 2 months than where they are now. I do expect to make some good cash on these.
The WHEN is anyone's guess.
