STI should have the vacuum chamber installed shortly. I do believe that the company will announce capacity shortly after. IMO, there will be a nice step up in PPS.
I tripled my position today. It might have been jumping the gun a bit, but I think the fun is about to begin.
I think that the announcement of a Stage 3 customer shouldn't be too far away.
I have a modest holding in this company and may add a bit more in the next couple weeks. I can wait for the next dip.
Sorry Abert, I'm buying puts. This thing is going down.
This stock is acting just like one great big P&D. If you have multiple years of stock trading you'll recognize this. I have a GoPro; that doesn't mean that I think that this is going to surpass Apple or Google who have multiple revenue sources totaling billions of dollars. I see support eventually in the low $20's if I'm being optimistic.
There are a lot of short articles coming out right now.
It would seem the market wants a correction.
Those buying now could be bag holders.
It almost seems like a better short than a buy at this point.
Myself, I am taking no position right now.
This took longer than expected.
UNXL is getting very close to success.
Scale up should take much less time than getting roll to roll printing to work.
Enjoy the beach elmer.
If you have a significant long position, by this time next year you'll own the beach.
I have wrecked on my dirt bike and landed right on the camera. It still works!
The picture is really amazing on the Hero 3+ for such a light compact camera.
For extreme sports and posting on youTube there is no better camera IMO.
I love it.
IPO's typically will spike and settle, especially for tech companies.
I love the product. I love the way GoPro has "branded" itself but investors are fickle, especially day traders. That is the only reason I would consider a short position in the next day or two especially if it really spikes hard on Monday or Tuesday.
What cracks me up is that individual investors get all worked up and trade after hours based on the Russell trades. They see huge share volumes and figure there is something up.
I have a GoPro Black Hero3+. I love it. I use it dirt bike riding, mountain bike riding and skiing.
I however, will not take a long or short position. The only thing I may consider are some puts. I just think that this is overvalued right now and the luster of this IPO will wear off quickly.
One thing that I am grateful for now is that the stock has been so oversold for so long. I was able to add quite a few more shares.
If somehow short hedgies keep a lid on the PPS for a while longer I will add a few more. August should really prove interesting.
I think that the screaming today by short holders is starting to fall on deaf ears.
Nice turn here. Congrats for holding Reb.
Man these $15/hr hedge fund slaves drive me crazy.
I don't know what will happen to the share price tomorrow but apparently judging by the volume of FUD pushers, those holding significant short positions are pretty nervous tonight. Even Reeking Alpo is saying there could be a possible short squeeze beginning tomorrow.
Personally, I can't see Hedgies going down without a fight. I almost would bet a hit piece comes out first thing in the morning. We'll see.
BTW, plating issues were solved. Wasn't I told by you $15/hr fud slingers that plating on PET was impossible?
Anyway, thank you hedge fund dirty work guys for helping to keep the share price so low for so long. Maybe you'll even be successful in keeping it down some more until your hedgies can cover without losing like infinity dollars but it's really hard to say now isn't it?
That is an interesting statement that Cybershield says that PET can't be plated. That is correct, PET cannot be plated, however copper can be.
I think that the plating troubles have been mostly centered around getting the catalytic action necessary to initiate EN plating. Hypophosphite, aminoborane and borohydride reducing agents are used to initiate the catalytic reaction of EN onto copper. Getting the proper ratio of reducing agents, bath temperatures, pH, and a multitude of other factors is probably pretty tricky.
Impossible? I don't think so. I think it will just take some trial and error to get the ratios and manufacturing conditions right.
One good thing about PET is that it is pretty resistant to a lot of normally corrosive chemicals and processes. Here is where Reed probably did the one good deed for this company in partnering with Kodak to solve many of these issues.
I guess we'll see the kind of movement UNXL gets in the next week before the conference.
Long or short, someone is going to do well a week from Thursday.
I am still holding long and may add if Richard#$%$ piece has an effect.
