I don't think the merger would have moved forward with anything significant still to be resolved.

If earnings through the 2nd quarter of 2014 adequately cover the cash distribution and perhaps it is even increased then I think your prices are a reasonable estimation.
Goldman Suchs probably has a big client that wants to buy in. Trust the insiders that are buying big with their own money. I like to own stocks where management eats its own cooking.
When these guys get on tv they usually have an agenda. Either they are talking up a position they already own or they are talking up a position that they are selling to make sure there are enough buyers to support the price while they are getting out. Don't let them influence your decision one way or another.
so he's smarter than the insiders putting their own, real money out to buy hundred of thousands of shares. shamer is often a contra indicator.
