A large integrated energy company will make a move soon, will result in at least 30% premium
This is being cooked , as soon as oil prices stabilize , large entities will swallow smaller ones to benefit from the next boom. $8 billion market cap for LNG seems dirt cheap !!
if you are talking book value , you are a looser!!!
If you dont get b you should not be investing !!! Carl Icahn has 2 seats on the board since last FALL. He bought the shares , hedged them , made billions when stock price went from 80 to $25 , .....
I do not think the value of Cheniere is where all are looking nor do I think that RISK is properly assessed.
I see 2 scenarios:
a) The company has valuable assets: 15 Billion in facilities while market value of the company is $8, A large integrated energy company will swallow them easily for 50% premium soon....
b)Hedge funds ( already in) will ruin the prospects in the short term to buy the assets at 10cents a dollar , to make billions on the back of smaller investors.
real price of NG is irrelevant when such scenarios play out .....
