  • Good news or not, seems this stock is solid, big future....but.. best .for those who have tens of thousands to invest and 2-3 yrs to wait. If Internet stocks dont quiet down soon there wont be any money for these "boring" but solid stocks

  • Dont you all think we better break $20 soon so when a market retraction comes we have some room? And whats stopping us from being in the black? I'm going to get sick if I have to hold this thing for 6 months of a market retracement while the company starts filling more and more orders. Remember , in 70% of stocks or more follow the overall trend. Lets hope the big pockets juts took summer off and wil start loading up after labor day. Prediction: If this puppy doesnt start grinding up every week starting in October when the bull market season officially starts, bad news. Has anyone done the stats on how this stock performs compared to reg. market in summer time over last 20 yrs. I see this is like dead money ,especially when other mining stocks are dead and its summer. I am in at $15.20. I was hoping to increase my position by now. This was a big mistake. I should have bought the Internet social networks like FB, lnkd, twtr or even Amazon which i think are going to not fall apart like in 2001.

Maple, those who havent reached your consciousness yet will laugh at what you wrote. Yet it is the way of the future as even militant groups in the middle east will have to be stunned at how much productivity and prosperity is the cause of "co-operation." You are dead on!!! Whether we see it in our life time is another story. Perhaps. For all we know heaven could be right here on earth all along. And that aint new age gobbly #$%$, its the planet we live on. Right here....earth! -)

Also......can someone corroborate this for me: It seems that Ruger is almost always right "behind" smith and wesson....producing an almost identical quality handgun, but for much less money. It is always Ruger chasing Smith, never the other way around. Am I correct?

#2-Wouldnt it be a money making idea if Ruger got into the ammo game and did it like AOL did the internet. Aol gave away the disks to download their free software at every supermarket and drugstore counter in america and they were the "branded" champs of aol connection until cable companies yanked the rug out from under them. But they got branded by giving it away for free over every other competitor. So if Ruger gave away a nice looking box of bullets, say with a sexy blue dot on the back (remember "blue magic' from american gangster? lol) and gave abox of ammo away with the purchase of every gun and then sold the ammo for maybe $1 a box profit so every caliber ammo buyer would start to use them, especially the middle class bullets like Winchester and Federal, etc. They could be the aol of bullets. And God forbid the range you bought them from gave you a free day at the range for every 5 boxes you bought, they'd have an avalanche. I hope someone from the co. is reading this , because my background is sales and I have several other ideas they could institute to get right in the ammo game. People arent as picky about ammo if its good quality as they are about their gun.

you mean the 2008 housing debacle wihich didnt make the govt make any arrests, and in fact made many nobody mortgage clerks wealthy overnight, as well as forcing banks to take trillions in loans they dont need....THOSE...people are going to put an end to it all? -) I really think the next 12-24 months are going to be another game changer where we ask one thing: who is going to ber first mover?......as apple netflix, google,at&t, facebook and anything richard branson is involved with, who is going to be telling us what we need.....next!? Thats what it really turned to in buying. We let 5 or 6 co's decide what we need, they no longer ask us what WE need. Great. But if I can rent a movie on netflix, leave my comments on both amazons and netflixs boards and maybe even have 2 types of boards 25 and over with no vile language and then we have the trailer park group and the hood rats spouting obscenities at each other. I just want to work for the first company that gives Al Sharpton his own major tv station so he can debate as unintelligently as possibly with the president and other world leaders and he can somehow get himself in a nice big fat mess which by miracle ,should have happened 30 yrs ago. What esle do tnhey want to give us. Movies in our toothbrushes? we can send texts while washing our faces? whats next? I have an idea...................how about actually inventing something that lets readers, nerds, book lovers and philosophers to go to a brick and morter place in each city like a starbucks to have discussions ,coffee and good entertainment. iot would be a modern day think tank....all for a 5 buck admission. And it could be done virtually too. CHAT ROOMS HAVE BEEN A BIG DISAPPOINTMEN T for the web, hasnt it,. Just like a big party you have to wait in line to get in at?.......... well,,..........we should have chat rooms for different grtoups that people have to wait in line to get in at. and while they wait, they can.......

Was the 8sma far away from price bars when it hit 21? Im sure they were. Then yes, you sell. If the 8sma catches up to price this next week........the sky is the limit. As an aside......what buy and holders have over most traders is that...are you all listening carefully...seriously.......history shows, if you try to time stocks 50% of a stocks gains come during 4 weeks of the year. If you miss those 4 weeks you will either make half as much or lose by trying to make up with good timing what you should have done by being in and holding. Everyone wants us to not buy and hold and yet this market was the best market ever made for it. so why not?

    marc

ps-so whats the next hot thing thast amazon or netflix or apple is going to try to glomm up? Stock picking is getting harder now because all the best plays where you can make 50-200% in a year are all tech stocks.

yen, I used to think so too. But how many pieces per year could they sell? How many bulets could they take away from federal, winchester, remington in the mid class and the gold dots in the high class. Or should they go low end and sell russian knock offs? lol I would have thought that the major gun mfr would give every damn buyer of a gun a sample box of ammo to keep the customer happy and keep buying the ammo thats made for the gun. But no...that was too simple, wasnt it. You could have just 3 or 4 factories that supply the whole usa and lets say ruger could put telco or bond arms or springfield on the labels and theyd actually be made by ruger....but for that specific gun. i WISH THEYD JUST MERGE BOTH SMITH AND RUGER TOGETHER SO WE dont have to think so much. Leave it to wallstreet to take a billion dollar ruger company, an 800million smith and wesson co, and merge it for 4 billion dollars in stock of which half goes as options to the company execs of course. WTF!!!!!! WHEN WILL WE BE ABLE TO GO TO A RANGE...SEE A BUDDY IS OUT OF AMMO nd TAKE OUT A BOX AND SAY HERE, HAVE ONE OF MINE. THOSE WERE THE OLD DAYS.

  • The bottoming tail on the 15 min chart was too much to resist. I will have like a 60 cent stop and huge upside. If this is the bottom for the day, im in like Flint! Still will be hard to move away from that 8sma. r/r is there under 19.80 imho.

How do you feel now????? You just lost 8% in 2 hours. Are you going to borrow money to buy more since its an even better buy now? Ive been trading since the 90's, what I tell you guys is from experience. Why are you so touchy? Notice Im not bashing or pumping. Im "HOLDING"

No. Im just saying price will pull back to the sma or else price stalls and waits for the sma to catch up. They usually meet for a "kiss" (touch) sooner rather than later Look how soon it started happening. this price action this afternoon is much quicker than I would or anyone could have anticipated. Thats why most day traders get buried.

You dont understand my point. Im EXACTLY on target as we watch this " puppy bleed red all afternoon back to the" revision of the mean". This could just be the shorts attacking again but the 8sma doesnt ask those questions. Price and the 8sma always meet for a "kiss" sooner or later every several bars or so. Its ok, we all have to start some where

facts, roller, this should be a very interesting afternoon as the biggest volume today on the 15 min charts has been an up bar but the largest/widest candle has been a down bar. This should be an interesting afternoon as you clearly have 2 groups working today. The gappers who glommed this thing up at over 21 and the sellers who have been unloading it all day till 1:20. Already we are in the red at 1:22 and volume is already almost 4m! Either a short fake out just took place and the longs are going to reverse this sharply or we are in for a bloody red afternoon. Who has the popcorn going???? -)

Facts, Thank you for the info. But I am already on page 2 or 3 of google search for this company and can find no evidence of this accusation being rebuked. In fact the latest news is actually a press release in disguise about because they have a sentence there that said consumers can "enjoy" the cars now. That means the co. is releasing all the news we are going by. I cant find anyone who is actually in China writing an unbiased article on this company. Would you know of any newspapers or any links. I'd feel much better buying this thing knowing sources other than the same :motley fool, seeking alpha and the street are doing the reporting! I am not a pumper or dumper. Im just concerned no serious people who manage big funds, or George Soros type people are not commenting on this company at all. Lets remember this co got listed thru a reverse merger. It could be at 50 next week. I want to be wrong, believe me! As a technical trader we seem overextended today anyway. I want to be wrong there too. I will feel much better when this co. has an International presence. Anyone agree?Ok, lets go to 80 plus if I am wrong. Im just woried because this sounds too good to be true and all sources of reporting are getting their info from the company only from what I can see. At least the spread is only 3-7 cents today from the hour I have watched it. Id still for longevity bet on my alcoa aluminum-AA to be here in 3 yrs from now, and its got a penny spread and similar stock price. Id actually love this co to come to the usa and use Alcoa. Jesus, would I make out great! I really want to feel better about this before I rate it strong buy.

  • I know many of you do not believe in technical analysis. I am going to prove a very simple concept right now. Put up both a weekly and a daily chart of KNDI. Now add an 8 simple moving average to the chart. Thats all. Notice this stock(and almost all others) will always seek to return to that area, that line where the 8 simple is. We at this point are what is called in trader jargon "over extended." Its not a guarantee we cant break todays high by end of session, just that the odds arent with us at all. Notice on the daily or weekly chart that whenever you got more than an inch away from that line, it always pulled back. Over 90% of the time. And we are certainly further away from that 8 sma line than weve been in a long time. If its only away from the price bars(i use candlesticks) on just the daily, thats a big confirm, but on the weekly as well, really means this stock is going to need a rest very soon. Maybe as of today or end of day. Isnt it amazing how accurate this stock stays near that 8sma. Is it math or do the mm's look at the charts the day before. Ha! Even the best traders cant answer that. But it works. I'd love to see this go to 25 today and be wrong. But odds dont favor it till at least next week or 2. This is what I traded with for many years and its better than almost any indicator you can buy.

Why would net operating cash flow decrease for any reason with this stage of a company? Where is Warren and George when you need them. I'd love to get their opinion!!!!! Look at the streets latest commentary on their cash flow which is in the minus column. Why?

facts, The govt contract is the only reason I am even bothering to follow this stock. Can anyone supply us with a real news article from a real chinese newspaper that can confirm all of this? Abd also, maybe they are just shorts spouting BS, buit 2 or 3 guys said that this co. is not even listed in China in the list of top car co's in the battery car biz! Is this true? Could anyone supply a link? Dont be fooled by institutional ownership, its a good sign but Enron had plenty of that too, didnt they. This stock is either going to 50 cents and trade on the bulletin board or its going to 100. Thats obvious. So dont call me a spammer or dumper. I am not. Im looking for any reason to get in despite the flaky price action and accusations from getting alpha.

  • mince38 mince38 Aug 13, 2014 3:44 PM Flag

With this lousy rebound today after getting hit huge yesterday, you may be right. Im also concerned about the murky financials seeking alpha spoke about. Does anyone know the authors credibility who says they sold cars to their own subsidiary to boost sales numbers!!!!!!!? As well as selling batteries below cost. Id be so much more comfortable if they had several centers in the usa, so we can either walk into one or hear from somebody that could verify they actually have what they say. And btw....if it looks too good to be true......". You think all the big institutions are not supporting this for a reason. Do guys like Soros or Buffett own one share? You mean they couldnt find this thing? LOL Seriously Id love to ask one of them what they thought of this co. Forget all those stodgy clueless mutual fund managers.

  • mince38 mince38 Aug 13, 2014 3:39 PM Flag

I PRAY you are right but the weak rebound today after big hit yesterday is a minor red flag. Spreads that are over 7 or 8 cents are also red flag. I think watch and wait is the thing to do. Why? No sophisticated investors on this board and nobody has talked to management in the co and we are another continent away. Id have felt much better if this co was in the US as well. We could walk in to one of their centers and see with our own eyes. LETS ALL THINK ON THAT!
