One good thing about TDAmeritrade they let you access records that far back so I could calculate my cost basis. I think I bought those shares at Datek before Ameritrade bought them out, but they had the records.
back when I was a beginner I held a stock till zero, ESOL, went #$%$ up around 1998 or so, lost 7 grand, just this year I finally took the capital loss on my taxes, didn't want to even think about it for all those years.
This stock could use a paid pumper, I would like to apply for the job. But I want to be paid upfront in case they go broke. Pay me in Gold, in case Obama.gov goes broke also.
Damn, Yahoo Finance boards are now useless. The market is down and BWLD is up and all we get is some clown short promising to marry his GrandMa if BWLD gets to 122.
crude is now down 3.5%, between macro events and Chanos short, this ain't like a CD. I got out of this and tried to find greener income pastures, and got F'ed with REITs and with ConEd. I guess income stocks ain't where it is at. I can't short individual stocks as all my money is in IRAs but I can buy short ETFs, SCO is making me some money, that is a double short on crude oil.
you done good son, lol who was it shorting this back in the 60's I told him he was a fool, now look at this, I can afford a #$%$ with this money :) Oh MY :)
Just imagine the damage once the FED actually raises interest rates, seems theses days the only profitable way to make money is invest in the Clinton Foundation, sure to flourish once she is anointed
You have been told Chanos is shorting this, Chanos has deep pockets, doesn't help that crude is down again and the market is down. Best thing we could invest in is the global warming hoax, buy windmills.
I got out of IMGN because of the shorts, I should of stayed, this weekend they announced good results for one of their drugs in clinical trial. If I still held those 3K shares I would be up 18K today, conversely if I still owned my RDS/B from 64.80 when I sold ex-div+2 I would be down 2.8K on that, hey if this was easy we would all be rich :) GLTA
Why I got out, if I wasn't in an IRA I would of shorted along with him. Wall Street will pick your pocket, it is nice when they advertise right up front they are going to. I got out at like 64.80 two days after ex-div. You have to figure he has to drive the price down by at least 6% just to break even cause he has to pay the dividend, so how low is it going to go? I dunno but he has deeper pockets than me, I put my money in ED, it is doing ok.
