I used to follow SQNM back when it looked so promising. They were not able to fully execute. I hope our mgmt. team took note!! I'm betting they did/have. Your thoughts?
In reading about Mr. Cerrone, am I to understand he was a Director at one time? Did he simply bring on new talent to the board to replace himself at some point? Also, it looked like early on, he owned over 10%, but that was probably before new shares and growth of the pie. With his past history, he's setting himself up for something much bigger than a 225M market cap.
Very positive ... and yes, we knew this recent price action had to be linked to someone big to take it down so hard. Of course, the biotech index pullback sure helped expediate things. Just glad I could take advantage of it, too.
Did you see the tug of war to keep this contained under $8? Apparently, shorts still have some firepower, but with this kind of accumulation, it won't last long! There is NOTHING else in the market that looks as appealing as TROV for me, right now, from a risk/reward standpoint.
Just fine, Mac. You? I've been out of TASR for awhile now ... had to deploy some cash elsewhere! ;-) Buying TROV in the $7's!!! Almost bought back into TASR ahead of earnings. If TROV hadn' t have dropped so low, I probably would have, but used the $ to buy more here ... BARGAIN BASEMENT!! Although, I did buy some TASR back today in the mid-26's.
The sad part now is that a 100% premium would still put this at about $500M market cap and about $16. So, let's hope they take their time! ;-)
I don't see a filing on the 25th ... just the 22 and earlier. Haven't dug deeper, but where are you seeing this one? Thanks!
Exactly, Emory ... the recent offering basically put the cash burn issue to rest. Other than that, it's just about progress and outlook.
I try not to, too, but sometimes when nothing has changed fundamentally and the market delivers a gift, you've got to take it. IF we hadn't just closed a very successful offering, I probably wouldn't have been as bullish. But, when the "bigs" are buying, I rest assured that they know more than I do. But, I will also bet they are behind some of this shorting, as well. They've got the firepower! Eventually, they will turn this boat around and move it north!! Count on it!
Good luck, Steve!
Complete round trip here today ... whoever our new shorts are, they ARE relentless. I'm taking some funds from another stock and buying more of this as it falls, because apparently, they're not through with the pillaging and plundering here. This is becoming a "value" at these levels, imo. Will it get cheaper? Probably ... but, I'm adding.
Well, I hope we can't infer the reaction to pps will take a 10% dive on the news like MDXG. I think we may have stronger hands here.
bounced pretty hard and reversed? Fingers crossed! When you're in biotechland, you either need a steady dose of Dramamine or a very strong stomach!! Gotta hold your nose and buy the lows sometimes!! Can not believe I was able to buy more in the $7.60's? Wouldn't have believed it a couple of weeks ago.
Just how much more downside can they see here? They wrung 10% out off recent levels. They are banking on NO positive catalysts ... can't believe they wouldn't cover and call it a victory!
I don't do too much charting, etc., but this has GOT to be short-term oversold, no? Stabilize here and rebuild? Have to admit ... I'm hoping because I added 3K more to an overweight position this a.m.
If you're talking about volatility, you're right, except it's about $7 higher than when you made the statement last week!!
