Our immediate goal should be to close above $5. Big players in now trying to knock it down? Accumulate? I'm buying dips!! Mostly an observer here, in since $3.85. Some are selling the news, but this reminds me of when RMTI got started back in the $4s not too far back. Good news just keeps on coming!
I bet there was a leak of the news and that's why it went down hard at the open and stayed down most of the day. It's "cursed" because of the inside ownership and control. They kow-tow to nobody and the float is pretty tight. I suspect there is a pretty good contingent of naked shorts that like to walk it down hard on low volume when they can. Hate to sound like a pumper, but I do think they're trapped. MDXG seems to think they're in the driver's seat, I'm not so sure. Cash flow positive for any small cap biotech is no easy feat, and we just obtained that. They're cash strong, too, so I'm willing to let it play out. GLTY
Yeah, he's pretty smart. He wrote that people should AVOID shares of OSIR in March of 2012 ... blah, blah, blah. The stock was at $6 then. Smart like that, I don't need!
Another brilliant call:
So is $OSIR going all in on Grafix? Boy that's a stupid decision given the changes CMS has proposed to treating DFUs/VLUs in 2014.
And, so it goes ...
Looks like you MIGHT get a little pullback on late date news of Randy Mills, CEO stepping down for personal reasons. Didn't see it coming, but his successor has been with OSIR for a long time and was COO, so I expect the transition to be seamless. But, you know how the market seizes on news like this ... yikes!
They've worked together for years ... transition should be seamless. But, I'd venture to guess there will be a "buying opportunity", thanks to our naked friends! In the long term, it's just noise! Dr. Mills will be involved as strategic counsel.
Was thinking the very same thing. They're under $300 M/C ... looks like the buyers stepped in. I grabbed a small chunk under $11 just for principle's sake! lol
Been a long time since we were north of $10 ... patience paid off ... oh, and those cheap shares under $7 are nice, too!
Congrats, guys ...
I don't trust SA further than I can throw them. The bloggers always have an agenda. Today's sweetheart is tomorrow's goat! But, daytraders love them!
I prefer to look at the glass half-full, resp ... it also moves like a cat with its tail on fire because of the small float, also. Patience will reward us and TUMS will sustain us! ;-)
You bounce around like a pinball ... buy-sell, bad news-good news, the sky is falling-the sky's the limit!
Sheesh ...take your meds!!
blueboy...it appears you need to be RIGHT more than accurate. The "investor" who dropped 300K at the market on the open (DUH) would have been a lot "wealthier" if he had let the market take his shares instead of flushing them. I guarantee you THAT was NOT the intention. But ... you're entertaining! You, my friend, are spinning your wheels here!
If it was profit taking, the seller would have let the market absorb his shares. This was intended to create FUD, take out stops. Happens routinely ...
What'd they do, send in the second string here? The old "something smells fishy" line is so .... yesterday!
Either send them to Ignoristan or get a chuckle out of their attempts ... it's all good. We're all just along for the ride, anyway.
Games are afoot ... NKTR was sold off the first day of the news and has since climbed significantly. I see the "anal"ysts downgraded DRTX today on valuation! You can't make this stuff up!
Then that is why we ran up last week ... some knew it was "in hand" and bought or covered. Must be nice to have "friends on Wall St."!
Love the naysayers who only recently made their appearance(s) here. Biotechs are all about timing, catalysts and the "story". The takedown to $6.50 was colossal and orchestrated, imo. Have to laugh, even Scottrade's "Market Edge" has raised their opinion from Avoid to Neutral based on improving pps. Really? So, "avoid" it at $7, and now that it's over $9, it's a neutral? Sheesh, you can't make this stuff up! No wonder most people are late to the party!
Have a good weekend!
