Agree in principle, but we don't trade in a vacuum ... unless you're talking about whoever is sucking up shares today at $8.50! ;-)
I like the volume today in this range ... should be putting a nice floor in. I scooped some at the open at $8.25, but I have to say, given today's market, I traded them at $8.70 to lower my basis, while not touching my core. Was hoping the market wouldn't weaken more and it might return to our $9 level, but, it's weak, overall, that's for sure.
Would LOVE to see another million shares traded at this level ... lots of selling, but there are buyers here. Unless someone needs to raise cash, there is no reason to sell TROV at this level.
Oh my ... another million shares presumably into stronger hands again in the $3.60's! Building a stronger base each and every day we spend here! Yawn ...
Even though China shouldn't affect TROV from a business standpoint, there are Chinese investors in our market, too and as they are forced to raise cash, cover margin, whatever in China, they will sell what they can. May not be TROV specific, but we are being affected. Janet Yellen will NOT be able to raise rates this year. Put that idea to bed! Our mgmt. look like geniuses ... raising so much cash when they did! Kudos!!
What's this "we" stuff? Got a mouse in your pocket? Did you forget that you were "out"? You posted that last week, but now you're "worried"? Troll!!
China down 8% yesterday ... over 1500 stocks halted for trading due to crash. UGH!! Not that it has ANYTHING to do with TROV ... but the baby could get thrown out with the bathwater! Ugly!
Just click on norris' name and all of his posts will come up. He has shared his background here and on the OSIR board. It's a great read!
Have a good one!
BIIB is Biogen Idec ... it's not the index, itself. They reported weaker earnings and lowered guidance. The IBB and XBI were each down few %.
Tell that to the people who invested in NFLX as it rose $300 against a very large short contingent!! $300 was merely a 100% increase and that doesn't count all the shorts along the way from the $70s. Say the same about TASR, which I bought at $12 amidst a lot of smart shorts! Nope, your thesis doesn't hold water ... sometimes shorts are wrong, too! ... eventually!
After a big glass of wine to soften the drubbing my biotechs took today ... Oz, your prognostications are just what was needed! Keep one's eyes on the prize!!
Have a good weekend!
That's the channel, alright, pepsi. But, WHY would investors pay $8.75 IF they thought there would be more downside due to ER? They would have waited to complete the deal. I'm sure they're privy to more info than us "normal" people! (I use that term loosely around here!) ;-) I don't think anyone saw the big BIIB miss or their lowered guidance. As for "why not at $12?" ... because the bigs NEVER pay up. I'm just glad we filled the piggy bank so attractively and quickly!!
What a day, hey? I'm building a nice position here!! Enjoy my weekend? Just listed my house (I'm a realtor), and my youngest daughter picked this week to move back home after graduating from college. Ugh ... nice timing! Oh well, everyone needs a soft place to land ... TEMPORARILY! ;-)
Enjoy your weekend!!
Excuse me ... I see his latest pumps are spamming for OPXA. I mean, WHO does that?
Congrats, but my frustration with that poster is that he spams ALL biotech boards with messages pumping BIOC. And, there have been posts here that have only promoted BIOC, which is just annoying. GLTY
The investors that bought at $8.75 have access to info that we little "peeps" don't ... I'm sure they are comfortable with the progress being made, or the wouldn't have upped the ante. Now, I hope they don't short against those shares and make $$ both ways. Didn't happen last time, hoping for the best this time, too!
Sure you will ... you're a BIOC troll!
