Looking pretty cautious ahead of the CC here. I thought we might see some short covering ... we're treading water, very carefully, at that! ;-)
Yes, shorts or buyers could wait til the CC, HOWEVER, if there is a positive slant, good news, etc., they WILL have to chase this because of the low float. If expenses are up more than expected, or hoped for, we will probably see some more downward pressure, but not much because we've been beaten like a red-headed step-child. We're so oversold ... I'm with others that say they will report all things on track. Gentlemen, place your bets!!
It's only 4.3M for additional tasers, but if they're buying more guns, how about cameras?
I see that there are clueless bashers who are late to the short party! Time to get on the long train!!
Yeah, they're absolutely getting "crushed" They own nearly 50 % of AQXP ... check out the returns there! They're not stupid. They are in many more winners than losers!! Speaking of LOSERS ...
And, am I to understand that the Baker Boys haven't been in all that long? Most shares were only bought in the last reporting period? WOW!! It's not too late here, boys!!!
Agree stk ... but it does give a "feel" to what is happening in the underlying market areas, imo. Most of the biotechs on my watch screen are either close to flat or down today. I would think with Buffet's buy of PCP the industrials are getting the benefit of today's move.
by ZACKS? They aren't even covering TROV. In one breath, the "report" expounds all of the positives in market potential and mgmt., but they've "missed" on "earnings", so it's a SELL? Doesn't make any sense ... they never do. They're off the mark!!
There were NO shares to be had. I tried adding at the open and had to raise my bid to $1.51 before it filled.
Thanks, as always, Oz, for pointing out the "not so obvious" to those who "wander" in from the wilderness!
I would suggest that getting the offering done at 25+% higher prices is a huge positive for the CC. There will be NO overhang about needing $$ if expenses have increased due to marketing efforts. We're good on that front. Their statements just need to be about confidence in how things are going. I tend to agree the path back up is going to be slower than our recent descent. Stairs up ... elevator down!
China had not so good economic news this weekend, too. Markets are weak ... not TROV specific. Unless something has changed fundamentally, I'll be adding what I can at these prices, and lower if the market takes us that direction, but am anxious to hear the CC.
An insider buying here would be FABulous!!
I think that could be said for most of the markets. 7 straight down days. Have to admit at the close today, I shared your sentiment, although, I am grateful to be adding some shares down here. It's kind of like thinking you'd never see mortgage rates in the single digits again, and, yet, here we are.
How about the joke: The patient tells the doctor he has a headache and the doctor asks why? Patient says that he keeps hitting his head against the wall. The doxtor says, "why do you do that"? Because it feels so good when I stop!!
Anyone who bought above $1.35 is not concerned over a few cent drop when the markets are getting creamed, particularly biotech! The fact that there's been this little volatility is amazing.
EVENTUALLY, they will run out of people willing to turn their shares over at this ridiculous level. As some here have said, none of this is TROV specific. It was just time for the "bigs" to go short the whole market to shake some retail shares loose. Wash, rinse, repeat!!
Hopefully, Monday will stem the tide with some positive commentary on progress and outlook!
Have a good weekend, all!
Always nice to remain positive, tkg!!
Have a good weekend!
A pr regarding what? We just had the CC update. Biotech indexes getting pounded!
