At the end of March, Celator Pharmaceuticals Inc. (NASDAQ:CPXX) raised $40.6 million in capital through a public offering of 4.60 million shares of common stock, which include 600,000 greenshoe options, at a public offering price of $9.50 per share. The capital will be used to fund regulatory, manufacturing, commercial and clinical activities related to the aforementioned highly-promising drug candidate. Some analysts believe the company may represent a possible acquisition target, considering that VYXEOS’s faces no competition at this point in time and may serve as a worthy addition to some giant companies’ product portfolios. Hal Mintz’s Sabby Capital acquired a new stake of 337,462 shares of Celator Pharmaceuticals Inc. (NASDAQ:CPXX) during the December quarter.
"statement of investors"? How about we wait and see if institutional ownership has fallen. With so much insider ownership, there's very little left over for other "investors". Throw in the large short contingent and things may not actually be as they seem. Check the volume ... first clue!
So far treading water and remaining green in the biotech bloodbath ... buy the dips!!
Thumbs down but no replies? Tell us all what news will sink this further that the market hasn't already factored in? Market down 200 pts and OSIR hanging in ... I'm waiting?
Just what type of news do you think has to come out on restated financials that would conceivably drop the share price much lower than the 75% haircut it has taken? We all know you can't question the products or their efficacy. Risk/reward certainly favors buying at these levels ... once the cloud is lifted, it could be at $10 in a nanosecond. I don't have all my eggs in one basket, so forego all of your altruistic suggestions ...
Yes, Cambridge ... some are worried that others will follow Matt. Presentation with CMO intact is somewhat comforting ... for now? Watching from the sidelines like a cat waiting to pounce!!
Well, "holly", you've exposed yourself as the fraud I suspected you are! You aren't down big on this because that would imply that you owned shares in the first place. Off to Ignoristan!
Interesting ... I wonder what "demands" Matt put on the table? At least this clarifies that the Board considered giving him the job, which was a big problem for me. Still following the soap opera ... but I do want the clarity of the conference call before I jump back on this pony!! Just being conservative ... didn't mean to annoy or offend any of the longer term investors here this week. Lots of other things on my plate right now and the distraction was a little too much, I'm afraid. GLTA!! Time will tell!
Thank God there are altruistic people on these message boards to save us from ourselves! Wow ... a whole $2. Go find someplace else to put it that has as much going for it as INO does now? (hint) ... you already missed FB)!! GL and Buh bye!!
Interest only payments on an existing loan. Looks like they are conserving cash for now, other than the one-time bonus given. Prudent! And, for someone who thought that was bad news, I just took their 1K shares at $14.70 a/h! ;-)
On April 25, 2016, we entered into Amendment No. 1 (the "Amendment") to Loan and Security Agreement with Hercules Capital, Inc. Under the Amendment, the scheduled principal payments due May 1, 2016 and the first business day of each month thereafter through and including the payment due on May 1, 2017 under the loan agreement will be deferred, and we will make interest-only payments during that period. Regular payments of principal and interest will commence on June 1, 2017. As of April 25, 2016, the outstanding principal amount under the loan agreement was approximately $12.8 million.
holly ... Even if you bought in at $17, you're only down a couple of bucks ... relax. Nothing goes straight up!! Put your big girl panties on and take some of the emotion out of it! The BIGS are in this for BIGGER BUCKS!
HUGE eod volume ... short covering? Or, now that whoever accumulated all those shares under $15 lettin' her run?
How could you have lost a bundle unless you chased it and bought at the absolute top? If that is what you did, shame on YOU. Buy in increments ... always keep some dry powder for those roller coaster days and you would have been fine. Averaging down on a play like this is always a good idea. They've got the goods ... it's not some P1 pie in the sky company.
