Seeking Alpha is not ONE entity, but a conglomeration of individual bloggers/posters, if you will. You pay to belong to it, they review your articles, but mostly rubber stamp anything you want to publish. So, it is a group of "traders" that simply try to reinforce their respective positions, for the most part. I can't believe anyone listens to them, really.
Good on ya, Patch and Kitty!!
I had my hands full dealing with the hit pieces put out by Seeking Alpo on UNIS at the open today! Added a chunk to my growing UNIS raft at $4.36! Putting out fires over there today! Exciting presentation today ... do some DD on it and see what you think. The CEO is promising a "tsunami of deals" and it didn't sound like he was kidding! (fingers crossed)!!
Yeah, heading up a cutting edge company and taking them to profitability is very "clownish". Posting cryptic messages on the Yahoo MB, not so much?
You know he said they have enough cash coming in to fund the company. He was referring to the fact that he said he is focused on R&D, not cutting expenses at the moment and that he wasn't as concerned with immediate revenue to fund operations.
He knows his credibility is on the line. He explained in detail why the deals take so long. I'm sure people get impatient, but he sounds like he is confident of building long term growth and dominance in the market. He has bagged some of the biggest game in the field, so he must be doing something right!!
You could hear it in his voice ... I know the criticism has been over-promise, but I think they are finally delivering, and the term "tsunami of deals" described his optimism.
I'd be nervous if I were short! Your bogus articles will only work for so long. The market is forward looking and I prefer Wayne Gretzky's advice ... "skate to where the puck WILL be"!
Interested in long term value for shareholders, not concerned quarter to quarter. Very quickly listening, but he mentioned wearable device deal coming, can cover this year's expenditures without selling one device, mid-2014 ramp up of product sales, says market has not factored in extensive patent portfolio. Keeping #s close to the vest because wants to keep competitive advantage. Mentioned 40%+ margins ...
Issue of why deals take so long ...
3 year process, multi-layered with the huge corporations and their various departments.
Sanofi is very happy with UNIS' performance. They have never missed a milestone. Otherwise, why would they continue the relationship? He stressed the satisfaction of their customer/clients.
Just did ... says they have permit in place for 120,000 additional sq ft of space that will double the capacity. Was just waiting for these recent deals. Should cost between $8-10M.
Gee, all of a sudden when Mr. Napodano makes a less than positive comment about the competition, he's "not so bright"? ;-)
No company wants to publicly criticize the FDA ... ru kidding me?
$14 was our bottom ... Market has been down for 4 days, and again today, but there were very few sellers down here. I'm comfortable waiting this out! GLTA
Listen GAG4EVER ...
An investor may not go "all in" on a pre-P3 biotech company, but as things develop, becomes more secure and confident with their investment thesis. Personally, I don't have quite as many shares as I once had because I thought I could trade this successfully and used to get nervous when the likes of you would convince me that I had, perhaps, guessed wrong. Not so, anymore ... So, there are a lot of different approaches to owning ACRX, or any other stock. You weren't here when many of us bought into RMTI in the $4s, TSRX in the $6s and Kitty had SNTS since the $3s, I believe. So, don't cry for us, wring your hands, or lose any sleep. Most of the "longs" here know what they're doing and you will be a sad, sad memory by the time our investment plays out!
These ne'er do wells that post incessantly about the minute to minute, day to day price action are boring!! Is it even relevant, if you are buying this for longer term, what the price is today? The company/mgmt. is firing on all cylinders, delivering as promised. If you are so inclined, buy the dips and sell the rips with some trading shares. It isn't rocket science!!
I'm dreaming of a white Christmas and a very green 2014!!
