I bought a small position at $63.63 before earnings. I might buy a larger position when it gets to $51 next week. When it gets to $41 in a couple weeks, I will buy a larger position. Dollar cost average seems to work for me.
Yes, that's true. I'm in no hurry to buy more really. It's still showing record earnings after 5 years, so I don't think this product is a fad. I will be watching the news carefully to make sure the fundamentals don't change. I'm only using speculative money on a speculative stock.
I would not recommend a message board for advice. I would recommend you talk to a financial advisor. Just trying to help.
This was not my smartest buys. I will wait a few days for the volume to settle down and buy some more. I didnt think the results were that bad. Maybe I'm wrong.
I only buy a little at a time to build a core position. I did the same strategy with CMG through the years with a 53 percent. I hope I have similar success with this one
I agree. I haven't been to Panera in years.
I went during lunch today and there was a 15 minute wait, so I agree with the management that they need to work on the busy times during lunch.
The food was hot and excellent. I had the chipoltle chicken panini. I asked them if they had any other chips and they gave me an extra bag of baked chips on the house.
The food was a bit expensive. Over $10 for a panuni, chips and a tea.
Overall good experience. Everytime I drive by, I see it very busy.
My advice is they need more staff.
I've read the earnings transcript and growth is slowing, but they are still positive same store revenues.
I'm looking for a beginning entry point in the next few days. Small buys to start accumulating a core position.
Good for you. Lately, I've been trying to find similar growth stocks. Looking at HAIN and SODA now.
I've been a long term owner of CMG (Chipoltle) and done very well. I'm up 48% on this one.
Have any others that I can research?
Proud owner of 3 years with a core position. They beat on revenue. I expected that they would miss on earnings, since they delayed price increases. Good job management!!!l
