I just wish the SEC investigation would result in something happing (good or bad). It would just be nice if we knew if this stock is really worth something or a peace of #$%$. Down more than 90%, the only positive I can see at this point is to reduce my taxes by taking a tax loss, however I dont want these morons in China to steal our shares when they know it is worth more.

    Another fun week for shorts....

    by mojojo1254 May 16, 2014 3:08 PM mjroskopf May 23, 2014 9:23 AM Flag

mojojo1254 is trying realy hard for us to believe her story. The fact is GME continually gaining market share each year. One in Four households has a Power card. When online prices are simuar to physical disks, gamers will take the physical disks. Not many people are going to put down $50 on an online game and not have any resale value, when they can buy that same disk at Gamestop for $50 and then trade it in a year later for some credit. The online sales may put some preasure on sales, but the disk will continue to be the king for many years forward. Keep dreaming mojo, this stock will continue to rise and will much higher by Christmas when sales will shoot much higher.

Company may not use Reverse Split

    by tnvolfan10 May 8, 2014 11:37 AM mjroskopf May 14, 2014 10:01 AM Flag

I dont understand why everyone is worried about a reverse split. Being under a dollar makes it look like a worthless penny stock. Big players dont buy stocks at these prices. So if I have 5000 shares at 64 cents or 500 shares worth $6.40 each it makes no difference. I think a reverse split wouldnt hurt our value.

Back to a buck today. I wish this thing would show some sign of life and the management would do something constructive such as release audited financials. I would even be happy to get an update once a year. Dont understand how you can say they are getting their act together when they have said a word publicly. I still wonder if the company is still operating or if our investments are worthless (which I am afraid may be the case). Is fraud involved? We wont know that until they release financials or the SEC investigation is released. Worst investment I have had except for Jackson Heweitt which went bankrupt. I hope this isnt another worthless stock after all.

Its almost like playing the lottery sometimes. I own Gamestop and bought near $20. It went into the $50's and I was being greedy and now is at $40. Wish I sold then, now I have to wait another six months atleast to see it go up in the $50's. It sucks either selling to soon, or not selling it at the top. To bad we cant see the future.

I have been long for a couple of years. With shares at almost $43 after hours, the 20 million dollar question is when should I sell. I have a feeling that it will go up to the high $40's then drop back to reality. When others are buying may become an opportune time to sell. Whats everyone's thoughts

9:08 am CAMAC Energy Energy provides operational update; year-end 2014 production exit rate guidance of 14,000 bopd (CAK) :

The Northern Offshore Energy Searcher drillship is currently located offshore Cameroon, where it is awaiting final clearance by the Nigerian Department of Petroleum Resources to enter Nigeria and commence drilling operations at the Oyo Field. The DPR has completed its inspection, and is expected to issue final clearance imminently.
The drilling rig is anticipated to arrive at the Oyo Field by the end of April. In order to optimize drilling, completion, and production activities, current plans are to spud Oyo-8 mid-May, with well-hookup and first production expected in October. The drilling rig will then move to complete and hook-up Oyo-7, with first production expected in November. Both wells continue to be on track to commence production this year, enabling CAMAC Energy to exit 2014 at an estimated production rate of 14,000 barrels of oil per day.
CAMAC Energy recently received parliamentary ratification of its Petroleum Agreement relating to the Expanded Shallow Water Tano Block in Ghana. The Company has been named technical operator and will hold a 30% interest in the Block. The Block contains three discovered fields, and the work program requires the partners to determine, within nine months, the economic viability of developing the discovered fields. A leading worldwide independent petroleum consulting firm has been identified to assist with the evaluation. Activities will include evaluating existing 3D seismic data, and geological and well data.

Walmart wont have as much of an effect as some people think. Gamers go to game stop to trade in and get other games, not to go buy toilet paper and apples. Why Walmart may be able to buy some games, they will have a hard time convincing people to buy their used games. Their employees are not knowledgeable in the gaming industry. 2014 will be a good year for Gamestop.
