when shorts cover, shares are freed up and are once again become available to borrow... since they are still not available, I can only deduce we're still net-short. When shorts begin to cover, it won't just move a point or two, you will see.
are you suggesting the other 15 are in the red? your logic is a bit skewed, just because a stock trades X amount of shares a day, does not mean you then have same X amount of new shareholders. Most volume is HFT/daytrader generated exchanging multiple times between same hands.
not letting them short is silly! The more shorts PRAN has the absolutely better. When AD news is released, shorts will help propel this a lot higher than without them.
PRAN is netshort, lots of crazy folks who betting against it. But that's a good thing, when AD results are announced, they will help take this 2x higher than it would have gone without 'em as they scramble to cover.
