Did you see the article in the Yahoo Finance headlines yesterday that said Apple's iPhone launch basically drove the third quarter economy, especially September retail sales. Says President should consider subsidizing Apple new product research and launches, like Apple Television.

The GLD is holding up today, I suppose because of the geopolitical fires in Egypt and Libya and also as the dollar weakens against the euro.
