I am an optimist and accumulate. Too many good things can happen to Arena, including a partnership with big pharma on smoking cessation. I actually believe that smoking and weight loss will be the Holy Grail. It has always been the big problem with weight loss. Those that try to give up smoking, start to eat. It is a vicious circle. Arena will either partner or find a way on its own to stop weight gain and quit smoking with one pill. When that happens, it will become a pill like aspirin. I also predict tat Lorcasarin will also show up in foods in the future to help curb cravings. This will be down the road but its coming. This is just the beginning for Arena and those that see the possibilities will be rewarded bigtime.
I think that Arena will want to enter the Needham Healthcare Conference on Wednesday with some big news. These conferences draw attention to investors. I am looking for one of three possible announcement Tuesday or Wednesday. First, updates on the orphan drug status trials on APD811. Second, the announcement of a once a day dosage for Belviq. Third, some upbeat information on smoking cessation or Belphen. The trading over the last week seems to be accumulation as the shorts are not able to take the stock lower. I think there is now anticipation by Arena stockholders that some press release is coming. Hold tight into the Conferece on Wednesday because the next news should take the stock above $5.00. That's how I am playing it. Good luck longs
Wouldn't Tuesday morning, Feb. 10th the best time to release a major press release? Feb 10th is the corporate overview and update at the 17th Annual BIO CEO & Investor Conference on Tuesday, February 10, 2015, at 10:30 a.m. Eastern Time (7:30 a.m. Pacific Time), at The Waldorf Astoria in New York City. I always say you have to pick your spots and what better day to make a major announcement but in New York City and carried live on the companies website. Again, its just my gut feeling but don't be surprised if tomorrow morning, bright and early, we get a major PR. Wishful thinking......maybe......smart business policy........priceless.
