best laugh I have had in a while. Seriously, I imagine if AEZS offered to give themselves to somebody for free, no one would want that garbage.

With pull back, sp is still 20% off the high of a few weeks ago. With the low float and upcoming NDA, it surely seems like a good value. What are the estimated NDA and FDA response dates?

This is just a repeat of the same old wash and rinse cycle that the ones who control the markets use to keep fleecing the little investors. Even Sue Herrara, long time tv financial host, called it last nite on the national night news. She said there would be an early huge drop, and then money would start pouring into our stock market from all over the world, because the US is considered a safe haven. The pundits will be saying the massive sell off was healthy for the market (it was for wall street fat cats with billions set aside to buy the dip), but not so good for the small retail investor who got scared and sold, many thru stop loss orders. In my opinion, stop loss order should be renamed stop gain, or sure loss orders, because most times, the sp just dips down and takes out the stop lossed, then roars back upward. Todays range in many peoples accounts will be huge, as long as they did not sell on the drop, but if they did, they will miss out on the rebound. Sad to say, there will be a lot of small retail folks who will come home from work and find out the sad truth. As far as a down trend and Foreign scares, I think the best indicator of our economys soundness is to just drive around and suburban area of any large city, building is going crazy, retail, office, residential, etc. In my opinion, we are still in the early stages of a long term rebound from 2009, and the low interest rates and cheap oil will only add fuel to the fire. Anyone who says raising the rate 1/4 th or 1/2th per cent is clueless, guess they were not around for 16% mortgage rates in the 1980s. The current 4% is a gift, and anythin under 6 or 7 is still great. Also, to me EXEL is one to ride right now All, jmo

Related to this ?, I know that often a stock will move one way or other, then later that day, news will come out that seems to show that information had been leaked. Does anyone here think that is happening here, maybe the price they mentioned or even higher?

I had a boss years ago, who had a favorite quote, regarding people who get jealous of others good fortune. He would say, "Don't let someone elses good thing be your bad thing", maybe that is the situation here.

Are u adverse to making big money? Why not at least hold some here, while u also put some in LPTN? Why do you not just make money on maybe both? From what I see, SYN is a much better company, while LPTN at this point is a beaten down mo mo play.Of course, everyone is entitled to their own choices, makes me realize how great we have it here in USA

So, Ace, I assume we are seeing a Dead Cat Bounce move today? Tell us clueless folks when the real sp collapse will happen, I am sure thousands will be on the edge of their seat waiting for the fabulous one, Ace Tracker to share his latest nugget of RAD insight.

So why admit u are so clueless? Ever think about thinking positive, buy stocks for upward gains? I bought MNKD at around 1.80 a few years ago, and sold at $7, made $20,000. That was way before approval, now after approval, bought at 4.70, now made another $20,000 in 3 weeks, why would u think about shorting? Is your brained wired wrong?

    what is the news?

    Sentiment: Strong Buy

  • I noticed a post several hours ago that gave projection on sp going forward. Of course, the Big pop was for approval, a 5 or 6 bagger. For newbies here, and for review for old longs, GALE has a history of very volatile pops. There was a 150% gain in 2 months, Nov 09 to Jan 10, a double from Aug 10 to Nov 10, a 5 bagger in 4 months from Dec 11 to March, 12. followed by a 31/2 bagger from Oct 13 to Jan 14.The fact is, with the added shares from the offerings, in 5 years, GALE sp is lower than 5 years ago. Now, have people made money, yes, some have made huge sums. Why is GALE sp lower than 5 years ago, even after a 50% 1 month runup? Because it is the nature of the bio tech field. With so long before final news, though 1/2 of it has passed, we are really no further into knowing what the final result weill be. All the while, we have seen the sp sink on numerous times due to offerings, Adam F. articles, and the topper, the pay for play scandal. So, where is GALE now? Much further along in the trials, has acquired 2 drugs for back up income, and is at a hard to believe sp of less than 1/3 of where it was 18 months ago. I am long, and have been off and on for over 5 years. No, I could not afford to hold on the huge drops, as I am not a wealth man. But, seeing the timeline of share price increases in the post earlier today to me is fantasy land, there are far too many mine fields to encounter to prevent that situation to occur. Could GALE sp hit $30 on Nuevax approval 3 years down the road? Sure But the ride, if based on past history, will not be nearly as steady as the poster predicts. I would love for it to play out that way, but I have severe doubts. Long and strong. PS, Did I mention heavy wall street shorting?

just noticed the 5 day chart, looks like the "stairway to heaven" chart movement to me. Any other chartists have a take on it? It occurs when the sp makes steady daily upward moves, wirh each step getting a little steeper each day, culminating in a cataclysmic blast off. My ta says it could be imminent.

    Sentiment: Strong Buy

  • Yes, Jan 2014 were heady days, too bad the PR scandal happened. The sad thing is, why would anyone want to cheat when they already have the goods in hand. Reminds me of Nixon and the Watergate break in. GALE has Nuevax, and if the data continues as the interim data has shown, the drug and GALE will be worth many billions. But for now, based on what is known, the sp should be much higher, at least $6 to $10. Just look around at some other bio techs that have higher sp than GALE, and not half as much to offer. Any other old timers here from 2014? I believe Dan was one of main cheerleaders.
