It sucks to look at it drop like this but think about the long term. They are buying ~$1.5B per quarter. They are going to swallow up tons of the shares which will make the long term that much better. Even at 2/3 of current rate of buybacks, so $1B per quarter, they will buy back $4B in 2015, which mean at a $70B market cap they will buy back 5.7% of the company this year. Its a 100% gainer in the next 3 years. Add more, long and strong!!
$1.7B market, and if something like this were approved I think of the revenue opportunity as a grand slam. Who on earth would go in for IV treatments multiple times during and episode when the can go sub cutaneous at home once. Would dominate the market and could be a $B product.
I am wondering about the trial length for something like this. Anyone have thoughts? Seems to me its a series of singular events used to determine if the drug works, rather than long periods of treatment. Could this speed up trial times?
PFE deal is not thought of as earnings or ongoing income. No estimates will have this included nor is it proper to due so. Don't worry. We are on a great track and estimates will go up once they realize we will due that much in 4K revenue alone.
Wouldn't that be nice. I am not sure about getting a market cap of of AMGN but certainly with a good 1-2 years and continued approvals with sales success we could see $100 with a $45B market cap. You never know. I think we at least get to $30pps by the end of 2016. Just being conservative.
Not too worried about the analysts and price targets right now. At some point we will get revisions from the current firms, but also we should be starting to get coverage from the large brokerage houses. Wouldn't be surprised in the next three months to gain much more coverage(big boys), and who knows about the their price targets, I think much higher. There is a ton of future revenue and profit here.
Sentiment: Strong Buy
Wasn't expecting Factor XIIa news. Bet hey, its great. Will be a life changing treatment for patients. Still waiting on Rayaldee news. Boom!
Virtually all his shares are held in Trust. He has signed the billionaire pledge so his OPKO legacy will be having them fund a 15,20,30B charitable trust that will last decades.
Kick the drugs. I am as bullish as I have ever been but that number is insane right now. If they could do $5B in 3-4 years with the pipeline still strong this baby would be well north of $100.
Holding for at least 2-3 years, likely longer. Potential is insane with OPK and there is very little downside risk.
I think he meant it didn't change much for Opko, which it didn't. The future would have still been the same, MUCH higher. Maybe just turned a few heads and made a few idiots realize a bit sooner.
