But your posts are worthless stuff so you are a spammer. My point is, do something better with you life than sitting on the SYNC msg board all day spinning your tires. There is everything better to do that how you spend your days.
Who are you talking to? Got a bit of an obsession with SYNC? Spend your whole day spamming this msg board with useless posts. Go for a walk.
Origin, digital, 3 big releases this quarter, new console cycle around the corner.
Should have listened to you. would have been up 4% for the day. Damn. Looks like investors are shrugging off the banshees and are liking the fact that so many people bought simcity that it crashed their servers for a week.
Well, I actually think there may be some short term fall out if the media keeps at it. They have been hitting it hard since launch and EA PPS only gave up .69% on Friday. Giving away a game from their existing portfolio will be a charge on paper but will not effect revenue. People might actually think "two games for one" and purchase where they might have been holding back. I did halve my position in EA on Friday because of the possible short term media driven bad press but mostly because it was a nice profit, the indices are too high, the financial world isn't stable enough so I am expecting a market correction and want the funds to buy low in EA or something else. Don't invest with emotion and good luck to you with your trades.
Heart of the swarm is just an expansion. You can't as an ATVI fanboy say that the "smooth" roll out of an expansion is the same thing as a totally new title. Yes, EA sucks at launches. Look at the SWTOR, not enought servers, look at SimCity, not enough servers, just plain stupid, really, really stupid. Just once I would like to read that after a successful launch EA has removed a couple servers that were never needed because they planned for over capacity. It is because they hire idiot zealot lawyers like Micheal Blank who had ZERO gaming experience and ZERO technical experience and make them VP of Origin. He will do great things at EA because he has a law degree? Who was the idiot that hired that guy?
I think the investment community is going to see it as... "The EA servers crashed because SO many people bought the game". Why would SO many people buy the game after the ME3 ending, bad customer service, etc.? Because it is a very vocal very minority. Most people are sheep, most people avoid conflict, most people have thicker skin. Then there are the screaming banshees. EA is going to continue to make great games, especially their sports games and EA is going nowhere but up with the new console cycle once the gaming industry becomes popular (already is getting factored in hence the PPS rise of 80% in 6 months). The only thing that is going to negatively effect EA's PPS are market corrections and global economic catalysts. This company may not be run for the good of gamers but it is being run for the good of the shareholders. See: Monsanto. Don't get me wrong, I think their decision for always on DRM is totally stupid, but players that want to play Simcity are going to wait it out until things are smooth then dump the next ten years of their lives into it.
